The first bite hits with a combination of flavor and spice. Then a perfect smokey burn. Not sure where that comes from, the cabbage dressing, pico de gallo or the creamy avocado sauce. Really recommend the California burrito and fish tacos, but honestly everything we have tried has been top tier. Recently went to Resorts World in Vegas and they had a whole "street food" area with some of the best food from all over the world. Woohoo, we're back again--and this time it's a $15 breakfast treat! I've been dreaming about those fish and prawn tacos everyone's been raving about. Sadly, no fish tacos last Friday (cue tiny heartbreak), so I went with the prawn tacos instead. Were they worth the wait? Hmm... not quite. The flavor didn't wow me, and the sauce felt pretty average. Maybe it's just my taste buds, but I'd give them a 2.5 out of 5. Not bad, just not special. What a great taco trailer in Jackson! We stopped by while driving up 49 and really enjoyed the set up - they have a great set up with several picnic tables over artificial grass and it's very well done. Super friendly service and our food came out quick. We had a couple of carnitas and pollo tacos with both red salsa (on the carnitas) and green (on the pollo) and they were exceptional. Lots of flavorful meat on each taco and the carnitas were crisp and juicy to perfection. read more

We were filling up gas on our way out to the snow, and we felt ready for lunch. We decided to see if there was any Mexican food doing curbside pickup. There wasn't any curbside pickup happening, but there was a few taco trucks. We chose this location because at the time of ordering, it had a perfect 5 star rating, and it was very close by. First off, their setup is very appealing! It looks great. They've set up some outdoor tables with a canopy, and they have AstroTurf on the ground. There's a little garden too between the parking lot and their outdoor dining area. It's very inviting. It has great curb appeal for a taco truck! They have big photos of some of their dishes on their taco truck, and also a specials board (but that's just for weekdays). We ordered one tamal which I don't usually see at taco trucks, Carne Asada fries, and two Al Pastor burritos (which we had a little bit of and saved for later) We chomped on the Carne Asada fries first which hit the spot, and my husband was particularly into them. We were starving. However, the meat was definitely not Carne Asada. It wasn't the right cut of beef for that, that's for sure. It tasted dried out too. The fries themselves were good with the cheese and accoutrements. If you didn't dwell on the meat, this was good. The tamal was very dry. I thought maybe my son would like it, but he tried it and wasn't interested. I ended up eating it, but it definitely need some salsa or something, which was not provided or offered. Our burritos were okay, but not very flavorful, and again, the meat definitely wasn't Al Pastor. It also tasted very dried out like it was old. It wasn't saucy at all either. The whole burrito was dry, and we ordered "supreme" ones which I think should have had salsa and sour cream. There's something up with their meat here. It was very questionable. I'm not sure we were given the correct meats, and they didn't taste fresh or like they were cooked recently. They tasted old like it had been sitting and then reheated or something. I'm trying to be understanding. It's a pandemic and everyone is trying their best. Thank you restaurants!! I appreciate their outdoor dining (we ate in our camper van though); which was nicely set up. It had ample customers who were picking up on this Saturday, so they were busy; even the Sheriff came by to pick up an order while we were there. However, I wouldn't come here again if I was driving through. I would chose a different taco truck to try. I hope they can take a little feedback and improve. I feel bad writing a negative review in these times, and in normal times, I would have most likely given only 2 stars, but times are tough. 3 stars....it was OK, but just OK at best. read more

The chicken tacos were absolutely delicious. For being called super burrito, the ingredients were pretty basic, but well seasoned and prepared. Good street tacos and we had a couple today, on National Taco Day, but sad to say they did not have the chile rellenos that we wanted, NOR any tamales and ran out of bottles of water after we ordered, at 11:15. I've eaten here a few times, it's a decent truck but you have to take that with a grain of salt as there are slim pickings near Sutter Creek. It's very clean, prices are a little high but that could be a result of Covid, the food is cooked well but not traditional taco truck-like. But today we went there about 20 minutes before their website said they would be closing, and we tried to order and they said that they were done for the day. That doesn't make any sense to me because they were not supposed to be closed, and they lost about $100 from us and other people that pulled up. They sell breakfast burritos daily until 11 am. I got to the truck at 10:55 a.m. and waited patiently while the two people in front of me ordered. By the time I got to the window, it was straight up 11 a.m. and ordered a breakfast burrito. She said it was after 11 and I couldn't get one. Great customer service! If anything, there's another taco truck two hundred yards away on the corner of Highway 49 and Ridge Road. It's basically the exact same thing and a lot better customer service!
