The place is super cute and quaint -- it instantly took me back to Mexico. Inside, it's bright, colorful, and full of charm -- exactly what you'd expect from a true taquería. There are a few booths, one larger table inside, and a couple of tables outside. Many guests were grabbing food to go, but I decided to stay and soak it all in. Service: You order at the counter, and the people there couldn't have been nicer. The hospitality is what every restaurant should strive for -- warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Food & Drinks: I had the shrimp tacos, and they were done right: soft corn tortillas topped simply with onions and cilantro. The salsas were just as authentic and packed with flavor. I went for my favorite, the salsa verde, and of course grabbed a Jarritos. The only thing that could have made it better? If they had my favorite flavor -- grapefruit. A minor inconvenience -- the mandarin was equally delicious. Overall: If you haven't been, this is a must-try. Do yourself a favor and check out this authentic taquería -- you'll be glad you did.

Some of our faves: Tripas Tacos: You get to choose flour or corn tortillas for all the tacos, how cool is that? Anywho, their Tripas was crispy and so so good! Birria Tacos: Chock full and accompanied by the consommé. Menudo: They have an even amount of the honeycomb and fuzzy tripe and a very deep flavored broth. The only very slight downer is that I wish they had a spicy habanero salsa. They do provide a mild salsa with the chips and a salsa duo (very spicy salsa macha? And salsa verde) but I'd really love another option. Loooove this place and can't wait to be back!

I started simple and got a chicken, steak, rice & cheese with added pineapple. A extremely common dish that I have never had messed up really. The pineapple was bad in some sort. It tasted as though it had been soaked in dish soap some how. The steak pieces were smaller than the rice grains and completely burnt. The chicken was decent but just tasted as if I had been given old sat out meat. Maybe I just caught this place on a bad day but it ruined it for me for the future.

Very colorful, very beachy. Service si also very good, although I am not sure it is super compared to any Mexican in the area (although there are some that are worse). The food portions are large. I got the Parillada and she got Camarones Al Mojo de Ajo (which is like a Mexican Shrimp Scampi) - At $16.99 a steal. Flavors are excellent. Food not oversalted, like some in the area. Food not bland, like some in the area. Just solid good food. I will also rank this the best salsa I have had in the Gallatin area thus far. Nothing uber special, but I ate way too much and the ozempic said "you are full" a few bites into the meal. My biggest surprise was how empty it was for a Saturday night, as everything rocked for me. We were there a bit later than the normal crowd, I guess? (close to 8 PM). This is one I will return to.
