We had first read about Los 4 Brothers #1 on a list published by Texas Monthly. Even now, we're still not sure if it should be read "Los Cuatro Brothers Numero Uno" or "Los Four Brothers Number One" or any combination of Cuatro/Four Numbero Uno/One? But we are sure that these were some great "tacos." Los 4 Brothers #1 is a little stand inside of the Sunny Flea Market. When we arrived at the parking lot, we asked the parking attendant if Los 4 Brothers #1 was indeed inside, as we didn't want to pay the $2 parking fee if we weren't at the right location. He didn't seem to understand what we were asking, so we decided to park at another lot across the street which was free instead. When we walked into the flea market, we were able to find the stand close to the parking lot entrance. We ordered two gringas and a sidra soda from a suave little twelve year old who treated us to a quasi-table service which was surprising given the locale. As our meal went on and we noticed other people ordering at the "counter," it was pretty clear they had sent us the youngest brother(?) and treated us to table service since we weren't Mexican. We didn't find this offensive or anything - merely a funny observation. Anyways, as for the food, you can add an assortment of condiments yourself, from red and green salsas to even pickled (and pretty spicy) onions. Our gringas (essentially al pastor with cheese) were well seasoned and the cheese was melted perfectly. They ended up being more like quesadillas than tacos in terms of shape, but meat-to-cheese ratio-wise, they were the best of both worlds. The gringas were basically quesadillas with extra extra meat, which solves the age old problem plaguing quesadillas - deliciously melted cheese but not enough meat. After we ate, we ended up paying $9 which was pretty pricey for only two Gringas and a Sidra soda. (We couldn't help but wonder if we were charged extra since there weren't any prices stated and we got no answer when we asked the price before ordering - merely a "Pay after you eat.") Assuming the soda was $1-2 and each gringa $3.50-4, these were the most expensive of the day. But, given the copious amount of cheese and meat crammed into each, they're still pretty solid value.

One of the best taco place in the whole world tbh no other place can top them ! And great customer…read moreservice (:
