4 pastor tacos there really good!

Bomb food everything taste good! I like the tripe tacos, head, suadero And the Mulitas are so good! Salsa verde my favorite, And the hot one Habanero,

Menu as of Dec. 2019

My fiancé and I come to Tacos Diaz almost weekly. The tacos, mulitas, and burritos are sooo good! I usually get asada as my meat choice and it is marinated and cooked to perfection every time! My fiancé usually gets the tripa (tripe) and says it's tasty every time also. The salsa verde is also great, savory with a little bit of spice! It's always a great experience here from the staff to the food. I will always come here!

Carne asada tacos (a tad greasy, but yummy!)

This taco truck has only been here two months! The chicken quesadilla was good, carne asada tacos were good, el pastor tacos were good, and the torta was really good! Not a huge variety of food, but good enough!! You do go to a taco truck for tacos after-all!

IT'S STILL THERE!!! On Yelp it's listed as being "closed" but we just drove by - January 31st, 2019 9:30 PM, still near or on Orangethrope, I'm from out of town so not well familiar with the streets, near the Goodnite Inn/ McDonalds in Buena Park. Had several people waiting for food - their phone number has changed. It's inexpensive & decent food, I would recommend it to a friend.

I literally had to tap out halfway through, and trust me, it wasn't because I wanted to! Now let's talk about the flavor! WOW!! The meat was so juicy, and the sausage was grilled to perfection, with that beautiful char on the outside that gives it so much flavor. Every bite was absolutely delicious! The bread was perfectly toasted, the veggies were fresh, and everything came together so beautifully. I'm definitely someone who eats with my eyes first, and this torta had me excited before I even took my first bite! But the taste? Even better than it looks, and that's saying something! I'm genuinely surprised this place doesn't have a line of people out the door! Granted, I came around 3ish, so maybe I missed the lunch rush. But seriously, where is everybody?! I'm leaving with a full belly, half a torta for later, and absolutely no regrets!

The inside is on the smaller side, but it's cozy, welcoming, and full of festive vibes, with beautiful murals and fun decor that give it so much character. There is also outdoor seating as well. But let's talk about the service! TOP NOTCH! The lovely lady at the register made us feel right at home, like we were part of the family. That kind of warmth and hospitality makes all the difference! We ordered the chicken taquitos combo plate with rice and beans, chips and salsa, and a GIANT bowl of menudo. Everything was delicious! My husband is SUPER picky when it comes to menudo, so when he said it was great, you know it had to be good! And the homemade corn tortillas? OHHH MY GOODNESS! That recommendation absolutely knocked it out of the park! Fresh, homemade tortillas are always a win! Overall, great food, amazing hospitality, and that comforting, homemade Mexican food vibe we love. We're so happy we finally stopped by, and we'll definitely be back for more!

Also ordered the chicken nuggets and fries for my child and let me tell you nuggets where juicy and fries were lightly fried and perfect, better than McDonalds ANYDAY!!! 10/10 a little pricey but you pay for what you get and it's goooooooddddd fooood!!!! Truck was busy with a never ending line but service was great and friendly. Lots of people so waiting time matched the number or orders. Truck was clean and clean hey offered three different salsa, lime, radish, pickled onions, and salt. Truck has bright lights so way to see at night! The horchata is also delicious. I recommend them all. Especially the birria tacos, torta de asada, carne asada fries and tacos de pastor. Delicious authentic Mexican food. That won't make you go broke. Highly recommend visiting them on Taco Tuesday for the $1.50 tacos. Call ahead to order so you don't wait in line long. Amazing service, delicious food and horchata. They have tables so you can eat there as well. Use the lighter green salsa if you want it spicy. Been a loyal Taco Gutierrez customer for years now. Highly recommend trying.

The service was friendly and attentive, and everything came out quickly. I loved the variety of salsas and especially the grilled onions. The jamaica was fabulous, and the horchata was also really good just a touch sweet for my personal taste. The staff was very helpful with recommendations for first-time visitors, and I love that they offer more than tacos, including pizza, wings, desserts, and halal options. The arroz con leche was one of my favorites. I could have it every day! The restaurant is also kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible. Overall, a welcoming atmosphere, great food, and excellent service. I'll definitely be back!

Tacompadre has tacos, burritos, quesotacos, alambre, loaded fries or nachos, and a few other miscellaneous items. They also have a good selection of proteins including asada, pastor, birria, chicken, chorizo, suadero, and conchinita, as well as a veggie option. The same space is shared with Mongiello's Pizza and Wings, and we ordered items from both menus at once at the register. We ordered our food to go to take to TT, but there is also a common dining area in the center of the market. My girlfriend had three tacos plate ($11.99), two pastor and one veggie. It comes with rice and beans, and we ordered a side of chips ($1.99). They have a self-serve station with utensils and several large covered steel containers of different salsas with small cups to fill. Each of the tacos have two tortillas, and she thought they were good, but she didn't care for the rice or beans. The chips were fine, and the two salsas we tried were good. Our food from both menus was ready pretty quickly, and the staff member was friendly.

Taqueria El Gordito is a casual Mexican restaurant in Santa Ana known for their tacos, burritos,…read moreand combination plates. It's a small shop with no inside seating and not much standing room either. There's a small parking lot with tandem parking in the back. You might also be able to park at the laundromat next door. There's only outdoor covered seating but seems most people order food to go. I got the california burrito ($16) and the super fries ($19.50). The burrito was decent and the super fries were good. The fries were crispy in both and I liked both the asada and adobada meats. I liked that there was a good amount of pico de gallo to balance the heavy meat, cheese, and carbs in both dishes. Note that the super fries normally come with beans so if you don't want them, ask for it without. They don't have a salsa station but instead they ask what sauces you want and they give them to you in prepackaged containers. They are open late which makes for a good spot after a night out.

I ordered everything to go and went with their Tijuana-style tacos--dos tacos de lengua con todo and dos tacos de carne asada con todo--along with green and red salsa and some limes. If you know lengua, you know it needs to be cleaned and cooked a very specific way, and they definitely got that part right. The lengua was cooked well and had a good texture. For my personal taste, though, it was just missing a little salt. Other than that, the food was good. It's a cute, small spot with some outdoor seating. They also have aguas frescas like horchata, pan dulce, and coffee, so there's a little bit of everything. Overall, a nice little neighborhood taqueria to pull up to when you're craving some Tijuana-style tacos.
