Food is always consistent and the staff are friendly and quick! A more modern take on Mexican but a great addition to the area!

We pulled off the road for a quick bite to eat and randomly found this a hidden gem. We took our food to go and ate it on the road. I wasn't that hungry so I just had a single barbacoa taco on a corn tortilla. The meat was very good with a nice taste of lime, I'm not the biggest fan of corn tortillas but all in all the taco was good. My boyfriend got the barbacoa burrito and I had to have a bite (or two). It was loaded and very flavorful. I liked the burrito a lot more than my taco and if I had a larger appetite at that time I would have gotten that one. They have outdoor and indoor seating, bathrooms and plenty of parking. Pay before you receive your meal.

Carnitas, Barbacoa, tamale, and spicy lemonade

I came here back in August with a friend and we both enjoyed the food very much. I had gotten three Carnitas tacos (slow cooked pork) and a tamale, and she got the barbacoa tacos (braised beef). All the food was delicious, although I thought for the price that the tamale was really small. We got their lemonade as well which wasn't too sweet and had a nice kick at the end. Customer service was quick and pleasant. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Overall we really enjoyed our visit here, although I think it's a little pricey for what it is. Still worth it at the end of the day

We recently went camping in the Nassau area, and after looking for some places to eat we came across Tacos Diablo and I'm so glad we did. Ordering online was a breeze. Everything was so well seasoned and the meat was flavorful and tender. The portions were great and definitely worth the price. Upon picking up, we were greeted with kind staff who made sure our very large order was correct. The restaurant was quaint with limited seating inside. If we are ever back in the area, this will be our first stop!

Good tacos, good elote, good tamales, good price. Might be a hunt to find, but worth it. Coming back from a fairly big soccer day, we were on the hunt for a place to eat and the area surrounding Albany was incredibly busy. So we try to find a funky little place outside the city that we can get to without a massive crowd, and we find this little food truck off a main highway. The operators were nice, answered every question and gave some good recommendations. They didn't have a taco sampler, so our group opted to buy a few different tacos and we traded between each other. We set up under the awning of a local building and dug in. Everything we had was with rave reviews. The Tamale I got was pretty tasty, was a chicken tamale and was a little smaller than I am use to but it was a tasty bite. Chicken was tender, sauce was spicy, masa was seasoned lightly. Pretty good. The tacos were seasoned and dressed well. Not too wet, not bone dry. Chorizo had some heat, but not a lot. pork was tender, as was the carnitas. the pickled onions were a nice acidic bite. The Elote corn was pretty good as well. They use a chipotle crema rather than mayo which gives the corn a little extra kick. It was a welcome addition. We also got a jalapeno lemonade, which had a nice grassy taste of green pepper and a backburn of heat on top of a very sweet lemonade. Nice to sip, not to straight up drink though. Overall, the group really enjoyed the tacos at this random taco truck. I really did enjoy them, and if you happen to find them randomly while driving down the road then I would handily recommend them.

Food was great!! Waited about 10 minutes on a busy Friday night & left very satisfied! Service was great as well, we were first timers & the overall ambiance of the place was so cute! Will def stop again on our monthly Mass trips!

Great place! Really tasty food and friendly helpful staff! Everything I ate (and drank) tasted fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I was looking for a non-soda drink, like unsweetened iced tea, and so I ended up trying the jalapeño lemonade instead, after being recommended by staff. It was very good, however I would want the option for regular lemonade or iced tea on the menu. I also wish you could order the trio tacos - and pick different ones. For this and a few other minor things, I have 4/5 stars. Don't miss the veggie tacos "Calabacin" (squash) - they were my favorite of the 3 types I tried today. The rice and beans was also very good. Portion and flavor both on point. I will be back and I will highly recommend. I'm looking forward to trying a bunch more from tacos Diablo!

Ordered the tortilla chips with trio of dips (guacamole, queso, salsa). The chips were nice and crunchy and salty and the dips were very tasty we would get this again. We got a quesadilla with flank steak and a burrito with Barbacoa and split these entrées. Felt the Barbacoa didn't have a ton of flavor, it reminded me of birria. Both birria and Barbacoa taste like pot roast. I do really enjoy pot roast but the meat needs to be seasoned a little more. Add a little more salt or the meat is going to lack in flavor, I don't want just texture I want flavor as well in the meat. The flank steak quesadilla was really tasty but they didn't put a lot of flank steak in it. The meat itself had some nice flavor to it. I ended up ordering a flank steak burrito to go and asked them to add extra flank steak to it since I figured they would probably not add very much just like they didn't add to the quesadilla. I took a bite of the burrito when I got home and really enjoyed it. Good guacamole as well we both agreed that it could use just a little extra salt in a squeeze of lime juice. She really enjoyed her margarita. I just had some of the takeout flank steak burrito that I ordered at the end of our meal. It was really delicious and that I give five stars too but make sure you order extra flank steak so they don't skimp on it, or else you might be disappointed.

Upon arrival you'll receive complimentary chips and salsa. It was fresh as the chips were warm and I could taste the fresh ingredients in the salsa. We ordered the carne asada and the Baja tacos (and the enchiladas verdes to go based on hot good the food was). The carne asada was fantastic, and it came with rice, beans, and tortillas. The Baja tacos were delicious and came with a super spicy sauce (they did have a lot of onions which was my only drawback). We ended the night with a special strawberry tres leches for Valentine's Day. It's not something I would have typically ordered but I do love tres leches and this did not disappoint - it was amazing. All in all excellent food you'll be glad you came for the food! A few other notes- the inside of the restaurant is pretty and draws on what I've seen in other Mexican restaurants. Staff were so friendly and had the perfect balance of checking in with us to letting us eat our meal. There is a small bar area that is separate from the dining area. Street parking only but there seemed to be plenty of spots. However, I would try to park as close as possible to the restaurant as the neighborhood itself didn't seem like the greatest. We had no issues during our experience but just something to consider. Overall I really liked this place and will definitely return!
