They message me in the Door Dash app and stated "sorry we have no more fries". So then I call them and tell them to just cancel my order since more than half my order contained fries. So I call the next day and ask for the manager but he wasn't there. I called again for the next few days and again the manager wasn't in. So then I told them the situation again and they said they would call the manager and get back to me. I ultimately was given the cell phone number of the owner Arturo. He told me he would give me a store credit to use on a future order and would leave it here for me to pick up and just tell the employees my name. By the time I was able to go into the store (I have irregular work schedule), the lady working said there was no card or credit waiting for me. She called the owner and then told me that he took it back since I wasn't there that same day and didn't want to leave it there. So then I said that's fine I will just reach out to him since I have his number and coordinate the next time. Now a couple weeks has gone by since I attempted to pick up the credit in store. I texted Arturo on May 29th asking, "Hi Arturo, this is Bryant. What day/time would be good for me to come pick up the gift card/credit?". He replied back 2 minutes later, "Hey man, can you stop by this Sunday?" I replied back "Yeah that works, what time?"... no reply. I tried reaching out again June 27th, June 28th, and today July 7th. My friend's super burrito was nearly $18 and didn't come close to the size of super burritos at places like Vallarta, which charges a few dollars less and has an awesome chips and salsa bar. I might consider trying them again on a weekday for lunch if I'm ever free but I'm not in a rush to come back. The chicken was just slightly too dry for the Enchilada, but the flavor made up for it. Only complaint is while the service was nice, it was SO slow both times I've been here. It took forever to get the check and when they did bring out the card reader you can't see the receipt, only a total. Then their lowest automatic tipping button is set at over 22% (with two higher percent options), which is honestly crazy to me since most places start at around 18%. I way overtipped on accident the first time I came. I think it's highly likely they get overtipped for this reason, which is nice for them but kind of not fair to the customer. All the ingredients were of high quality and tasted delicious together. Complimentary chicharrones de harina were served with hot sauce. This is the first time I've been to a restaurant that served complimentary chicharrones de harina. Chicharrones de harina are a Mexican snack that are made from fried wheat flour. Service was good as the workers were friendly and polite. They were short staffed so service was slower than if they were properly staffed. It was surprisingly busy around 2pm on a weekday.
