I walked up to the counter to add what I wanted to their order and looked at the menu for less then a minute, the employee walked away from the counter without taking my order and started talking to someone who was not a customer through the drive-through window. I stood at the counter for a couple of minutes with no acknowledgment from said employee, so I decided to leave without ordering anything.

Have you noticed that very few seniors eat at McDonalds? There's a reason for that. Their food rots you from the inside. But A&W is just the opposite. People of all ages eat there and they keep going back. I don't believe that seniors go there for nostalgic reasons. They go because their burgers are delicious and they aren't bloated with grease afterwards. The Robie Street location is typically always clean and yes, their bathroom is very clean too. If they can't keep a bathroom clean, what does the kitchen look like? Am I right? So grab the kids, your parents, and even your grandparents and head down to the Robie Street A&W for some great tasting burgers.

Not the fault of the staff as they were run off their feet and so nice. The owner of this franchise obviously doesn't care. I'd never own up to something like that. Renovate and be proud. Ewww. Truth.

I would not recommend this one. Staff is not helpful. The Robie Street one is a lot better.read more

As a door dasher , the service at the 93 robie street location is utterly terrible. They will not…read moregreet you at the delivery area, we wait 5 to 10 mins. Then we go inside to the counter where they have not confirmed the order on the dash screen. They still will not greet you in ANY prompt manner. The most concerning part. Is when I can See the food is already prepared , with the delivery code on the first bag. Sitting on the counter , but they still won't awknologe you've arrived for an order. Time goes by , they still haven't bagged the food for delivery or greeted you. I've waiting 15. Even 20 minutes staring at the order with my hot bag in hand , ready to accept the doordash order. I give up with this location. I automatically hit the prompt now that says , can't get employees attention. Wait 5 mins. If nobody greets me , I unassigned it in the app under (?) Either because order is not ready and they don't know when it will be ready , or they aren't accepting doordash orders. It will not effect your rating this way. You will not be compensated for any of your time you've wasted in this store , there is a HUGE food saftey issue with the food sitting not in a hot holding place while they are not greeting you or confirming the order. I have put a complaint in every week for the last 3 weeks since I've been back to doordash. The service expirence for the doordash staff is unacceptable, and we have to deliver cold food if we ever do get served. Which reflects poorly on our delivery service. This has been going in for at least the last 4 years , since about 2020 when they fully renovated the store. I also worked for another delivery service which delivered prepaid orders through the Truro Eats app. Very Very poor service in behalf of the 93 robie street location. We are now lucky enough through doordash that most of our delivery calls seem to come from.the 140 wade road location and the 624 pictou road locations. Let me be clear there is no issue with these other two macdonalds resteraunts , just the 93 robie street location has had a Terrible service issue with the delivery staff for about 4 years now on going. I will be reviewing this resteraunts service on any platform available to me. Every single week. As well as calling the head office , every single week untill the issue at 93 robie street is corrected. - behalf of all Truro, NS doordash Staff , Katherine S. And G. SINGH
