Took a while in drive thru, but food was good and still warm. Yum yum yum yum yum yum !!

As a door dasher , the service at the 93 robie street location is utterly terrible. They will not greet you at the delivery area, we wait 5 to 10 mins. Then we go inside to the counter where they have not confirmed the order on the dash screen. They still will not greet you in ANY prompt manner. The most concerning part. Is when I can See the food is already prepared , with the delivery code on the first bag. Sitting on the counter , but they still won't awknologe you've arrived for an order. Time goes by , they still haven't bagged the food for delivery or greeted you. I've waiting 15. Even 20 minutes staring at the order with my hot bag in hand , ready to accept the doordash order. I give up with this location. I automatically hit the prompt now that says , can't get employees attention. Wait 5 mins. If nobody greets me , I unassigned it in the app under (?) Either because order is not ready and they don't know when it will be ready , or they aren't accepting doordash orders. It will not effect your rating this way. You will not be compensated for any of your time you've wasted in this store , there is a HUGE food saftey issue with the food sitting not in a hot holding place while they are not greeting you or confirming the order. I have put a complaint in every week for the last 3 weeks since I've been back to doordash. The service expirence for the doordash staff is unacceptable, and we have to deliver cold food if we ever do get served. Which reflects poorly on our delivery service. This has been going in for at least the last 4 years , since about 2020 when they fully renovated the store. I also worked for another delivery service which delivered prepaid orders through the Truro Eats app. Very Very poor service in behalf of the 93 robie street location. We are now lucky enough through doordash that most of our delivery calls seem to come from.the 140 wade road location and the 624 pictou road locations. Let me be clear there is no issue with these other two macdonalds resteraunts , just the 93 robie street location has had a Terrible service issue with the delivery staff for about 4 years now on going. I will be reviewing this resteraunts service on any platform available to me. Every single week. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, we called and a lady picked up the phone with a very very rude tone. I politely asked her if i called the right number and she yelled "i just said it was mcdonald's"... i had not heard her. I was shocked and hung up, i called back and told her it was very rude and replied with "do not prank call a mcdonalds, we are a literal business and ill call the cops and track you!" I am fully aware mcdonald's is a real business, and i was not prank calling! Im appalled at the rude behaviour of the staff, truly disappointing. Please teach your staff to use manners and be better in the future... i pray for your team members. read more

Have to choose one star not because I wanted to but because I can't post unless I do.. I got 4 ice cold QP'S with cheese and bacon at the drive thru, live within 7 minutes of the restaurant and they had the consistency of sitting out on your countertop for an hour or so. Tried calling over and over but they never ever answer the phone at this location. That's ok the internet will work just as good if not better..you really should get your shit together, this location is the nicest as far as appearance goes but the service aspect is indeed the worst out of every McDonald's I've visited coast to coast, including the Magnetic Hill location in Moncton NB... We went through the drive-thru Play Store order one cheeseburger one small fry we were told we paid and we were told to go over and take a seat in the reserve spot no reason why it is now 15 minutes later and we are still waiting for one cheeseburger and one small fry from McDonald's this is unacceptable the service has gone downhill since they put in all these automated things they're not giving the employees the ability to expand or grow as an employee because now the boys believe that they're replaceable and irrelevant so it's causing them to treat customers the same way this needs to change read more

This place is suppose to be open 24 hours but is usually closed for some BS reason. Nine times out of ten you can't get food at night once the sit down restaurant is closed. What is the point of saying your open 24 hours when you are not. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Don't bother going here late night it probably won't be open read more

Basically all good food but sometimes they cut back on staff at certain hours. One thing I really bothers me is their english muffins that are crispy and full of holes. Why can't they get a better supplier for their english muffins with some body to their muffins? If you have ever eaten Ben's Holsum english muffins you will see a big difference. I'd give them four stars if their muffins were have decent! read more

This is probably the worst McDonald's in the history of the restaurant. Hire people that care and don't act like idiots. I couldn't imagine a poorer managed place. It saddens me that this is my local McDonald's. read more
