It was full of seafood and tasted so good. Little shrimps, scallops, pieces of fish. Consistency of the soup was more watery than creamy but I enjoyed it like that. Also tried the battered fried fish and the fish tasted good. For me, the batter was a bit oily though. Still very tasty. The fish cakes were nice and fluffy, and garnished with some sweet marmalade type stuff (not sure what it was). At first I thought there was bacon mixed in but I think it was actually the smoked fish i was tasting. The caesar salad was ok. I felt that it had too much dressing. Tried a sip of the blueberry blonde and it was also just alright. All in all, I found the food to be a little bit of a gamble in terms of whether it would be really tasty or not. It was also odd that the first night we were offered complimentary biscuits with some maple butter of sorts, whereas the second night we weren't offered it. Also on the second night, we were asked where we would like to sit. When I said we would like to sit in the dining area, the waitress told us that the tables weren't set up. I wasn't sure what she was implying by this cause it didn't come with a follow up - did it mean we couldn't sit there or just had to wait? Turns out we just had to wait and after a quick minute it was set up for us and ready to go and the rest of the evening was very nice.
