We loved our meal at Taco Trail! They are dog friendly on the patio, and we were immediately greeted by a staff member bringing our pup some fresh water. The inside was clean and "instagram worthy". Each person in our family got a taco combo deal - $18 got you two street tacos of your choosing, chips and salsa, a side, and a fountain drink. It was SO much food, and they also made it easy to take leftovers home. Our food arrived promptly. Another group with pups asked the cooks to make unseasoned chicken for their dogs, and they shared their very generous portion with us!

The nachos. You can tell we dove in before we took the photo.

Best nachos ever!!!! My wife and I saw a couple of YouTube video reviews, so we knew we would have to give them a try. It did not disappoint. We went twice while in the BURG. Looking forward to next year's visit. Everything is fairly priced for being in a touristy area Everything we tried was delicious. Great service, friendly staff and nice environment. Also they have breakfast burritos served all day. What is not to love about that.

Good food for a good price! Nachos are worth trying! Exceptional nachos! Ambience is quite and seems mostly like a fast food, but the quality is no doubt fresh based on the taste

New Restaurant, close to our condo on a rainy night so, let's give them a try. Large inside. Plenty of seating. Walking in choose your food, pay and it was brought to table. You help yourself to waterand fountain drinks. We order 2 tacos each and an order of Nachos no protein, 2 cups water. $30. Tacos were very good but they are street taco size( $5. Each). I should have been more careful of the order of Nachos ($10.) scattered with hot jalapeños but was also very good. I wished prices were less but it was good.

Place is clean and in good location but they should really do better food, felt like just off the shelf put together type items.

Oh my goodness! We visited Gatlinburg last month and I still cannot stop dreaming of the pancakes…read moreand omelets here. We went back TWO times and are planning our next trip back. Not only were the servers phenomenal (shout out to Nonna!) but the food was TRULY outstanding. The pancakes were so fluffy, they came out quickly, and the flavors were stellar. I am a traditionalist - so I stuck with my chocolate chip. My brother In Law tried the buckwheat pancakes which were flavorful, fluffy, and not too sweet. My husband had the wild berry crepes which were SO fluffy, the berries were perfectly sweet/tarte, and they had a delicious lemon custard on the inside. Truly a show stopper. The southwestern omelet truly surprised the daylights out of me. The flavors were SO beautiful. It was the perfect blend of flavor punch and savory bites. It's a TON of food. I would HIGHLY recommend getting an omelet, a side of pancakes (with chocolate chips of course) and then a side of bacon/sausage. This way you get to try everything and you have TONS of leftovers. The line outside looks intimidating, but service is quick, and they have a great system to make sure no one is waiting too long. It is 100% worth the wait though! The servers are knowledgeable and aren't afraid to give you recommendations especially if you tell them what you're looking for. I cannot wait to go back!!

While you wait they have a great gift shop available to look though and keep you preoccupied. The store is well organized and the restaurant is kept clean. Once seated our server, Macy took excellent care of us. She was efficient with bringing drinks and keeping them topped off. It was pretty crazy that our order was out in 15 minutes, great job! I ordered the Works Omelet ($13.49) with has browns, and Nancy chose the Bacon Grits Skillet with two eggs and pancakes ($12.49) and a cup of coffee ($3.29). Our meals were hot, fresh, and delicious. The only issue is they don't make their hash browns too crispy, so if you like them that way be sure to ask. We were in and out in about an hour minus the wait. All-n-all, it was a great experience and I would come back again if in the area and looking for an affordable breakfast option.

The hash browns were undercooked and lukewarm at best. The omelette I had was great, so I guess it made up for the hash browns. My grandsons pancakes were not hot, but room temperature. They forgot to put the cheese in my wife's eggs as requested. Hopefully this was just an off day them the cooks this day.

After watching 3 tables that ordered after us receive their food, I asked where ours was at and was told it was next. About 4-5 minutes later our food came out. Cold. Like it's been sitting for 20 minutes cold :/ if they left it on accident, they could've taken 5 minutes to remake and BLT and some French toast. Go a few feet further to Split Rail Eats, you won't regret it! Although the food came out cold, I will say the potatoes, BLT, potato salad and tavern toast were good. But they were all cold. I don't enjoy cold eggs or bacon so they were just a waste of money :/ Paying $50 for a BLT, Tavern Toast adding Eggs, getting our own drinks AND tipping 15% for them to take 35 minutes to deliver our food to us cold IMHO, isn't the characteristics of restaurant I'd promote to others. Had they stated they left it in the window too long and needed to make it fresh and we'd have to wait another 5-10, I'd be leaving a different review. We don't complain, that's why we didn't say anything at the time. We get things get busy and forgotten. Our food was definitely served cold so it was either intentionally left or forgotten. Either way, I don't ask for refunds for this reason. I share my experiences and let others decide how to vote with their wallets and choices. I'm not rude and demand to be refunded. I just don't function like that. Also no one ever asked if our food was good or we would've said something God Bless.

And then I looked again, hoping that maybe something low-calorie or nutrient-dense was hiding and I just needed to look harder. Nope. But if you're looking for a sandwich that consists of chicken tenders between two glazed donuts, then this is your place. Sawyer's has other things that are not so county-fair forward. They are known for breakfast: French toast, pancakes, omelettes. If you get pancakes or waffles or the like, you should definitely ask for their house-made peanut butter syrup. It's amazing and so unlike anything that I've ever tasted. I got an omelette, which was good and had a lot of stuff in it. They will give you hot sauce upon request, which I was grateful for because I thought the omelette needed it. One thing that's really cool about Sawyer's is that they seem to take food allergies very seriously. That's always nice to see! As you're entering or exiting, make sure to admire the decor. It looks like you're in a barn, and as you exit, there's a gift shop with stuffed animals, t-shirts and other things to commemorate your visit to Sawyer's. This is a fun little place that's great for families, for sure.
