My family and I have been eating at Taco Time for decades. However, something has changed. While the service was fine as usual. The food made my family and I sick for days. Something has changed in the recipe, or they are not making it fresh anymore. When we ate Taco Time in the past, we were fine. This time it took 3 days to get well. read more

We went through the drive through and ordered and I got a bean burrito with no cheese or sauce and we waited ten minutes for our food. When our food arrived we realized they had given us a beef burrito instead. I went inside and ordered another burrito and mentioned to the cashier about the mess up in the drive through and she didn't say anything or offer to give me a new burrito. So, I ended up paying for another one and waiting 15 minutes for that one. I'm honestly not sure if I'd return to this location after such a frustrating experience. read more

Taco Time was fresh as it always is, and my last entree was, to say the least, decent. It may be because of the extra ingredients I ordered, but the red cabbage on top of my Fit Hit bowl was a bit overwhelming, and the rice and beans were pretty well-buried under it. I think I would have liked to see that bowl mixed up a bit more to help blend the flavors and keep one from overpowering the others too early on. read more

I don't like giving poor reviews BUT.. These Mexi Fry's are salted tater tots my man.. My mother had been craving taco time.. for weeks. So on this Washington rainy day, we took advantage of the opportunity to stop by this location, which was dead upon arrival. We placed our order (hard tacos, Mexi Fry's, crispy beef borrito, hot sauce) and rolled right on through to the window. The women working the window was nice enough, and flashed a big pretty smile before kindly asking us to park and wait 4 minutes before she "personally" would bring us our food. A few minutes later, there she came, polite and sweet as before. We figured a wait would mean fresh piping hot food. But that was not the case.. The break down: Crunchy tacos were full, but bland, topped with a quarter slice of a tomatoe The crispy burrito was the better selection, salty, but I liked the texture. If ever I return, I'll stick to that. The tater tots were the big disappointment. If not for the hot sauce to dip them in, they would've been boycotted altogether. I just returned to the US after several years overseas. More than anything I wanted Mexican food. My uncle recommended Taco Time. I ordered a burrito combo and a soft taco plain (for my son). My burrito was plain just meat and was luke warm at best. The "fries" were tater tots that were extremely salty. They were warm but inedible due to the salt content. My son actually liked his cheese and meat only soft taco. I was disappointed in the quality of this meal. I was unable to eat the tots and the burrito was just meat. I was hoping for a decent quality fast Mexican type meal but got taco Bell quality food instead. I will likely not go here again based on the food. On the service side other than making my burrito wrong the lady at the window was very pleasant. She was friendly and engaging. Summary: It's a taco shop toned way way down and in the style of Mcdonalds. You get tater tots instead of fries and taquitos instead of a burger. Let's break it down: Inside its as clean as a fast food joint can be. Theres a make your own soda machine so thats cool. They also will bring your food to your table. I like the idea of mixing things up from the regular burger chains but what taco time does different it also doesn't do very well either. For being the unburger champion it all seems very burger like. The food isn't exquisite and it tastes very bland. The taquitos and tots are just dripping with oil. Don't claim your the healthier option when your really just a different version of the first option. I'm not saying its bad, its just not worth the hype people give it. Rolled through this evening at 8:45 pm only 1 car at the window. No one ever acknowledged me at the menu. Sat for 5 min thinking that maybe they were busy and would get to me, but. So I decided to give this place another chance. It's spring break and McDonalds was packed and busy- so i decided to try this place one more time. I am pleased as punch that I did. I haven't had a crisp beef burrito and mexi fries in years and had forgotten how good they were. The service was fast and friendly (I went thru drive thru) and when I realized I had forgotten to order a side of sour Creme- the young lady at the window was nice enough to add it to my order at no extra charge. I was treated SOOOO nicely. It was a classic Washington rainy day and my son and I were waiting in between appointments. One employee opened the door for me and said "I wanted to come help you because you looked like you were getting really wet out there." That means so much to me as a mom with a toddler. The employee at the front was a really nice man and that answered all my questions and didn't rush me. After we sat down and got comfortable he gave us complimentary cinnamon chips for my little guy. I can't even remember the last time I've been inside a taco time, but I'm seriously in awe at how genuinely kind and considerate this staff was to me and my son. Great place for the American-Mexican food. Its pricey but beats Taco Bell hands down. Its an up-scaled version of a Naugles/Del Taco if you've been to one. Nice and clean and served fresh. read more

Poor service, the staff is not friendly, slow service, a couple of guys that work there, one with tatoos and blue dyed hair and heavy set guy with glasses have attitudes. The place is dirty. I don't know how they pass health inspections. I been going here a lot and have given them a chance to see if their staff would be friendlier but they are getting worse. Not sure what has happened to this location in the last few months but it has turned to garbage. I was in the drive through for 30 mins!! And when I got to the window they were very rude and snotty to me! This made me late to work and to top it off they forgot my $5 software taco ! The food at this particular Taco Time is always fresh, hot and just out right delicious! I thought that all Taco Times were created equal, but they are not. The Silverdale location was awful. The meat inside our (my kids and mine) tacos was clearly old and maybe even left over to be honest and I definitely can't ignore the fact that my oldest had instant diarrhea after eating it! We absolutely LOVE churros, but after being served an old soggy one at the Silverdale location, we've totally been turned off unfortunately! Long story short... Always eat at the Bremerton location in front of Walmart and you won't go wrong! read more
