Unfortunately, this location isn't good. It makes me sad to say that because I love Taco Time, and it has always been one of the better fast food options. But the Bonney Lake location is just terrible. My order is correct only about 10% of the time. I always have to check it before I leave the drive-thru, just to make sure they got all of the items. 3 out of 5 times, I have to go back in for something they forgot. 9 out of 10 times, when I get home, they made something wrong. On our most recent trip, I paid $1.59 to add guacamole to my veggie burrito. There wasn't even a drop throughout the entire burrito. Sometimes it's there, but it equals about a teaspoon. My husband also got the chicken soft taco, and the chicken was inedible. He had to pull each piece out as he ate it because the pieces were rock hard and couldn't be chewed. I've called this location more times than I can recall about the issues we've had. Each time, they put us on a list to get our items remade. But nothing ever seems to get better. We continue to go because we're crazy, I guess. It just seems healthier than the other options, but it's almost always a bad meal (refried beans that are like a brick, rice that isn't fully cooked, more tortilla than filling, and the list goes on). I wish this location would get an overhaul. It's so busy all the time. It should be better than it is. read more

I'm at a complete loss as to why the Bonney Lake Taco Time is so horrible. I actually started up my Yelp account just to give a review cause it's so bad. I've been going here on and off for years, after I moved from Covington. Btw, the Covington Taco Time is great, the Taco Time in Bellevue is great, every other Taco time I've been to has been great, EXCEPT Bonney Lake. Where do I start? They get my order correct maybe 10% of the time, they make their taco salads and tostado salads wrong, they don't put the cheese on the meat, they put it on the lettuce, what little cheese there is. They're so stingy on cheese, I have to ask for extra, and they don't put it on, but charge me for it, I'm paying a lot for less than stellar food and service. It's been like this for years, so it must be the penny pinching management that trains their staff to be so 'forgetful'. I've tried complaining to corporate but their email does'nt work. This place needs new management. The only reason I still go here is because it's less than a mile from my house, otherwise I'd go somewhere else. read more

Check your order before leaving, twice I ordered extra sauce, got none both times. 1st time I thought just a mistake, 2nd time I called, they took my name and said to stop by and they would make it right. The worse value for the money at Bonney Lake Taco Time. Drive thru visit around 3:30 pm Sunday 10/2/2022. We paid for extra ranch and salsa, drive thru crew left it out. Ordered the fiesta platter and got a mashed taco, cold mexi fries, a cold 2"puck of a portion of refried beans. Wife got cold chicken burrito and cold mexi fries. About the only decent part of the order were the crustos. Very disappointed experience for $25. read more

Taco Time seriously scrumptious those fried burritos are really what's awesome it's like a crispy flauta stuffed with meat or potato just totally awesome! This location has a Coke Freestyle machine which rocks anytime you come across one of these because they have way too many delicious drink combinations from my favorite Coke Lime to the yummy Dasani Lemon Water you can't go wrong! Because we are not fortunate enough to have the delicious Taco Time in SoCali I don't get to venture here often but every time it's always been yummy as they remind me of a Del Taco meets El Pollo Loco combination which rocks! They have corn chowder which I was like totally stoked about as it was a bit cold and rainy yeah we don't have seasons back home so this was a nice surprise to actually get some yummy soup on a cold day anyway the corn chowder was yummy it had a great zest to it and was full of flavor the chowder was also a great dip for my fried burrito like wow that was yummy! They have a few other things here that I haven't tried and who knows when I will get to but overall everything I have ever tried has always been yummy and what was good! Maybe sometime soon I'll get to visit another Taco Time but all I gotta say is the good people of Washington are lucky to have this awesome yummy chain! read more

There was a line of 10 cars. I ordered my food. She read it back to me and everything was correct. She handed me my impeded. I drove forward 2 feet and opened my door and told her one was missing. She proceeding to make me check my receipt. They didn't charge me for it so I said ok I can pay for it. The. She took my card at the window and I paid. She told me to pull back around the end of the line and reorder we already waited 25 mins. The amount of common sense customer service is insane. $3 tater tot I paid then pulled forward and she said sorry I'll bring it out and waited another 15 mins. What happened to making it right for a customer. I've never had this happen at any other taco time. Mistakes happen but make it right. You will hold up your line and make the customer wait when you repeated the order back and just forgot to add it on. Some people have kids in car seats and can't just pull around and run into the store that's why we have drove through. So disappointed. read more

I when through the drive thru and not only was my food order correct, warm and tasty, the staff working the window were fun to talk to and looked to be really enjoying their jobs. The remodel is very nice, and this location is always busy because of the location right off the highway. Dining room is clean and the drive thru is quick, what a wonderful combination! I have been a Taco Time patron for many many years. It the best fresh fast food around! It is consistently good and they haven't changed much over the years. The Bonney Lake Taco Time is especially good. Very few errors, great service and great food. Definitely worth a trip up then hill or stop on your way through town. read more

I like Taco Time. It's probably the BEST mexican food U will find in the entire Northwest. Its weird bc its a fast food joint- yet charge a lot. A LOT. I pay it bc the food is pretty much made in front of U...that includes the drive thru. The food is also very yummy to me...esp. the salads- rice- black beans...They also have pretty tasty vegan burritos. As said, I do like the food and don't mind paying restaurant prices. So I go back around and hear "sorry we are closed" I explain and even say "if you guys don't have any chips that's fine I'll get out of your hair and leave. They do give me the right size of chips. But then I got to eat a fish Baja and I asked them to take out the veggie mix and replace it for shredded lettuce and they didn't. So I go back around but this time no one says anything. I've gotten the nachos a several times in the last couple months and each time, there's been little to no toppings. I might as well have gotten chips and salsa. They've also forgotten the medium salsa I've ordered with the nachos the last 3 times. * If I could give a 0 star, I would. Drive thru sucks - my order is always wrong. It's gotten so bad that I will check my order right in front of the window and good thing I do. Every time, I find something that I pay for but don't receive. OK, I'd never been here before, but considering this is by far the classiest Taco Time I'd ever set foot (boot) in, I think that's a fair statement. Comfy booths. Whenever I drive up from the Portland area, I have to stop and get my original beef soft taco. Heaven! I don't know what it is about the soft tacos here, but they are unforgettable. Delectably seasoned, fine ground beef and this sour cream that's kind of like a cross between sour cream and ranch. A little bit of fine cheese, tomato and lettuce--perfection! To save some calories I opt for the white chicken chili as a side dish, which is one french fry (in this case, Mexi-Tot) substitute that doesn't make you feel like you're missing out. Tender chunks of chicken in a refreshing, light chili is a treat. Although if you get the tots, they're great too. The restaurant is always clean, from the drive-thru and dining room view. Good food. Only do the drive thru but there pretty quick. I think the location is a bit of a pain only because you can't really see sometimes when your coming out of the drive thru if there's a big vehicle parked on the left. And pulling into the drive thru coming from O Reilly's side you have to swing really wide to make the turn. read more
