If you love tacos and margaritas... or a few tequila shots, then this is your place! The fresh…read moremargaritas are some of the best we have had. They do offer a premade mix of margaritas on the happy hour menu, but for 5.00 more you can have a delicious fresh one made. Definitely enter the blue door to the back and enter the speakeasy, it's dark, loud, and turns into a nightclub after 11pm. There is a great lounge and a pool table for some fun. Our tacos were great, churros are delicious served with your choice of sauce and our bartender was fun, friendly and made the best drinks! Parking is tough, limited on the street so ride share is best as there is a lot of construction going on in the area. We highly recommend Bodega for a fun night filled with tacos and drinks! Cheers!

I had a hard time rating my experience at the Bodega because of a mix of things between ambiance,…read morefood, and service. Upon arrival I was a little unsure of the set up because I looked it up online, but when I walked in, I only saw the ordering station. Upon further inspection and walking up to the window, I found out there was a side entrance. When you walk in you were taken into a completely different vibe and experience. I was thankful the bar had TV's so we had something to watch. Overall, the food was good and had good flavor, but the drinks weren't the best and the bartender did have a slight attitude. We were the only people in the restaurant, so you think they would be more attentive and friendly.

I've eaten at Taco Rico years ago, and at the time I thought it was just okay. I decided to give it…read moreanother try recently since good Mexican food in Miami Beach can be hard to find--and I'm glad I did. This time around, I ordered the bean tacos and a taco salad, and both were pretty good. Everything tasted fresh, and the flavors were solid. The sauces were also good--though not as spicy as I personally prefer, they still added a nice kick. Overall, it was a solid experience and definitely better than I remembered. It may not be the most standout Mexican spot, but it hits the spot--especially in an area where options are limited. I'd probably order delivery again!

An alterative to Taco Bell a few blocks away. A tad pricier and slower, but more authentic…read more Queso & Dipper Fries: Kinda like thin unseasoned wedge fries. I'm always getting chips & queso, so figured I'd mix it up with fries. While I liked the fries, the queso felt a bit thin and not very flavorful. Like it seemed they just mixed in a little fresh pico de gallo for the flavor component. Chips & Queso w/ Beef: The classic is much better than the dipper fries. Felt like there was more queso with the beef upgrade. Also, the thin chips let you focus more on the yummy cheese. Cheese Enchiladas w/ Red Sauce & Green Sauce: I love cheese! Like when choosing between meat or cheese as a protein, I usually pick cheese. So the enchiladas scratched that itch. Both sauces were nice, though not that memorable. The rice and beans helped fortify the meal, since the main enchilada portion felt a tad small. 3 Way Fajitas: This was an awesome fast casual dinner for two. Came out in an oversized mound of proteins, onions and peppers. While you could have created mixed fajitas, I did separate waves. The shrimp was tiny, springy and nicely flavored. The steak was the star, with that classic fajita chew. The chicken is nicely spiced, so more exciting that regular chicken. It came with guacamole, cheese, sour cream, rice and beans to feel like a real sizzling fajita plate experience. But it was the salsa bar that really livened things; I especially favored the green salsa.
