Para unos tacos bien chingones vengan a Taco Queto. Ordered the parrillada for two along with two Cocas and the total was 400$ pesos. My boyfriend and I are about 6 tacos each, had queso fundido, guacamole, and two orders of beans included. The food was delicious. The pastor meat is absolutely delicious and a must try at this place. The beans come with salchicha and carne de pastor they're super delicious, especially with some lemon! The green salsa is super delicious and not one bit spicy. The tacos come plain but you can serve your own cebolla y cilantro at the table. If you want some cebolla asada you have to order that separately, but definitely worth it. The place was packed, and the servers were quite busy, but despite that they brought our menus and took our orders quickly. Be sure to be ready to order your food and drink at once. This place is located directly across from the little shopping stand street, and it's open only at night. The tables are plastic and the seating is partially outside, real Mexican style. There is bathrooms available, they're small wooden shacks one for women and men and the sink is shared, they're located towards the back of the restaurant. Our favorite place in Holbox. By the looks of it, this shouldn't be good -- it's kitschy and tourist-trappy, but the food is so amazing (and so cheap). On our two visits, we tried tacos, a burrito, a quesadilla, guac, nachos, and their bean soup, and loved every single thing. The absolute champion, though, is the pastor taco with cheese (on a corn tortilla, obviously), which was just an incredible few bites. The pastor in general is pretty amazing here -- we tried it inside the burrito and on top of nachos as well, both of which were standout dishes. Even something as plain-seeming as their chicken taco was excellent, as were their chips. Needless to say, we really loved this place, and this would be our first stop if we're ever back in Holbox. read more

Best al pastor tacos I've ever had!! We Couldn't stop eating At this place on our trip to holbox. We wanted to try new things but... we couldn't get these tacos out of our minds! The pastor tacos were served sizzling hot and fresh with a generous portion of pastor. I opted for the queso to make the tacos even more magical but they are amazing on their own too! They serve them with the typical tray of condiments - onions, cilantro, hot sauces. We also tried the sirloin and chorizo tacos. They were good, but do yourself a favor and go all I'm on the pastor. You won't be disappointed! I saw delivered to other tables looked decent, but tacos are the star of the show here! The place is no frills and one of the more authentic eats close to the tourist strip. Just great tacos and other mexican favors served at plastic tables and chairs with no AC. It is BYOB, so head next door to the corner store and grab some beers and drinks if you wish. They also serve sodas and aguas - horachata/Jamaica/tamarindo. Best food for the fastest service on the whole island. Came here twice for dinner in the same week with a group of 9. The meat has real flavor and the tacos are authentic street style. I had to go with al pastor right off the spit both times and they were great. Others also highly reccommended the arrachera and beef tacos. Kids had the nachos which were a step above the normal fare with great seasoned chicken. And they devoured the whole thing without complaint. From the time you order you can expect the food to be on your table in under 5 minutes...and that was with the whole place entirely full of customers! The servers were very friendly and even when it was completely packed I always had a taco and cold drink, the wait time for your order is very short. Not to be missed: al pastor, chicken and carne asada. Also the horchata and Jamaica juice was so so good.
