This was our first time in taco Mac in Gainesville, Georgia. The food service ambience were all awesome and excellent our server Taylor was very nice and very informative about the menu and the different salsa and the all the wings and everything made fresh here daily. I had a disappointing experience picking up an order at Taco Mac that left me questioning the level of customer service. While waiting for my wings, I stood near one of the TVs, quietly minding my own business. An employee approached me and told me I needed to return to the designated pickup bench instead of waiting there. Although the request seemed unnecessary, I complied. What made the situation especially frustrating was what happened afterward. When I got home, I called and spoke with a manager to clarify the policy and was told that there is no rule requiring to-go customers to wait on the pickup bench--meaning I was asked to move for no legitimate reason. That completely changed the interaction from a minor inconvenience to a customer service issue. Being directed by staff based on incorrect information is frustrating, but more importantly, it made me feel unwelcome while simply waiting for an order I had paid for. This may seem like a small issue, but moments like this shape the customer experience. Pickup customers should be treated with the same courtesy and respect as dine-in guests, and staff should be properly trained on the policies they are expected to enforce. Instead of a quick and easy pickup, I left feeling inconvenienced and singled out over a rule that apparently did not exist. I hope management addresses the inconsistency, because no customer should have an unpleasant experience over something so unnecessary. I appreciate the manager taking the time to clarify the misunderstanding. read more

One of the newer taco Mac's so everything is nice and clean. Plenty of TVs to watch. Wait staff was great. They got rid of the queso with chorizo dip. Very disappointed, but the loaded nachos were good. The wings are just ok. Hard to mess them up unless they're small and/or overcooked. The one in Buford is closer but this one is way nicer. read more

Great service. Had a nice beer on tap, as always a huge selection. And the bkue cheese was chunky and delicious. And unfortunately: had some wings. Super wet and sloppy. I appreciate that often more is more, but in this case they were so swimming in sauce as to render them soggy. Not to exaggerate, but they were sitting in a little cup with wax paper in 1/4 inch of sauce in the bottom, with just the tops of the wings not supersaturated. But I do want to emphasize, everone I interacted with was wonderful, and service was quick and efficient. Just marginally edible wings. read more

I always get their roasted wings either with lemon pepper - dry, garlic Parmesan, or honey chipotle, and all is really good! Weeeeel ... since the manager stated that Yelp is where people go to complain, I don't want to disappoint. My wife had the salmon and I had the broiled wings. While she did enjoy her dish, it was obvious that it was one small piece of fish, cut in half to make it appear like two. The wings were as expected. Our main complaint was the fries, which the server (Matthew) acknowledged they were not the former cut potatoes. These were some kind of extruded mashed potatoes garbage. He did not remove them from the check, so we reduced his tip by the cost of the fries. The ambiance was that of a trendy beer joint - rather unremarkable. We have definitely learned our lesson at this Taco Mac. All this for $60, yes, 60 bucks. read more

I got hot wings and a side of broccoli, which was an extra $3.99... couldn't eat it. Freakishly over seasoned. Hot wings were good but you could taste the salt under the sauce, too. My husband's food was terrible- over seasoned and too spicy. The steak was teeny tiny pieces so it was more cheese and peppers and grease than anything else. The fried pickles were no good. The food was good. I ordered delivery. part of my order was 10 piece wings that comes with your chosen dip (ranch). I ordered extra and paid for extra. I got only the one I paid extra for. It was located outside the wing container. The receipt say dip ranch as part of the wing order and ranch dressing. There was no initials next to Verified By. So beware! Your order may be wrong on delivery. But those Brussel sprouts are next level. I almost forgot to add......they stingy giving only 1 tiny dip for wings. That should be one container per 5. Pretty disappointed. This food took forever and there were tables open all over the place. I have never not eaten all 10 of my wings when I eat wings anywhere, I stopped at 5 and they were slimy and undercooked... My wife and daughter each got a buffalo chicken wraps and neither had buffalo sauce. I would have returned my food, but I know better than that because I worked in a restaurant in my early 20's and I don't trust the cooks when food is returned... I understand this is a newer location and Taco Mac is known for serving a variety of beers, but we go to Taco Mac for the food and the food was a big disappointment. We went to taco Mac a few days after they opened (was super excited to have them close by) & swore to never go back was an absolute nightmare well fast forward a few weeks we wanted some wings & thought we would give them another chance & got wings to go!! Well first problem was we couldn't order online & after calling over & over for about 10 mins we FINALLY get someone to pick up!! We ordered 20 wings extra crispy & let's just say they where more than crispy they were BURNT & tasted awful!! Not to mention it took an hour for them to get ready!! I ate inside and they charred my steak past well done then I got a Togo order and they put even less meat in it. Giving them 0 stars. My husband and I went to this Taco Mac for our date night hoping to try something new. The wait was quick and the Peach Tea was delicious. As far as the wait for our main dish it was so long that my husband and I had to actually talk to one another. After waiting one hour someone finally came out to tell us our ticket had been lost fie the past hour, but they finally found it and decided to make our food for us after all. Having two kids that were being watched for us we kindly told the man that we had to go and put our children to bed. Apparently he thought we might be back because he told us that next time it would be hopefully be better. I told him we'd probably not come back since our date night was ruined. I'm typing out in the Mc Donald's drive through, which is located across the street in case anyone else has this same issue. read more
