Our server was Emilio and he did us right! Directed us drinks and food. Four of us ordered; an old fashion w Japanese whiskey (I was hesitant), Moscow mule, Asian beer (very smooth finish) and a Jack&coke. Everyone was happy with their choices. Side salad w the house dressing was delicious. Scallops seasoned perfectly, veggies not overcooked or soaked in oil, so tasty! Filet was cooked to perfection, perfect amount of seasonings and the cut was prime. The fried rice was tender, and not soaked in oil! SO much flavor~ I had the Hollywood sushi roll and it was loaded w crab and it had 10 rolls for $15! The ambience was swanky and upscale. Did not feel like we were in Sherman. Cozy, velvet chairs, indirect lighting made the vibe so cozy, inviting and warm. Such a gem for Sherman. I didn't want to post because I don't want it to get overrun but I want it to be successful for all their thought and hard work that went into creating such a stunning, ambient atmosphere. Customers forever. P.S. they shared their Halloween and Christmas drink menu with us and we are super excited to try one of everything!

I have a video of them admitting my charge is too much but they won't refund me the difference. This is crazy in this day and age. Go next door to the taco place or the BBQ place. This place knows how to do to Texas BBQ plain and simple. They provide some staple BBQ options like…read morebrisket and pulled pork, while also featuring more unique offerings like turkey and brisket-wurst. The turkey and brisket are standouts. They hold strong without additions like sauce, but also take on a new unique flavor profile from their in house gravy and BBQ sauce. Both the turkey and brisket are juicy and tender. The smoky flavor of the brisket is truly outstanding. The brisket-wurst sandwich is worth it to get even if you intend to get sausage and brisket. It really has it's own flavor profile altogether that is another standout. As a KC BBQ woman myself, I did love the pulled pork and it's addition on the menu. The ribs were also stellar. I don't tend to gravitate towards ribs and these really stood out. Back to the sauces above, the gravy is a unique, regional feature that enhance already tender turkey-and honestly goes great on everything and anything. The in house BBQ sauce can compete with even some of the best sauces where BBQ sauce is more popular. The sides stand strong alongside the featured meat. Some individual favorites of mine include the brisket and beans and the jalapeno cornbread (highly recommend a bite of the cornbread, pulled pork, BBQ sauce, and a homemade jalapeno). Take the time to check this place out. It is evident the team puts a lot of time and effort into perfecting their recipes. There are no wrong decisions here. Find the opportunity to try everything on the menu-it will be worth it.
