Great service! Person took my order and offered options to make a meal vegan when I asked. I ordered tacos del ocho which had pastor meat and grilled pineapples on top! Never had it that way, BUT it was delicious! My lady enjoyed her vegan order burrito that had lettuce potatoes and beans. The frijoles charros that came with my meal was great also. Only ordered beans and rice, but I judge all restaurants by their beans and rice. This was the best I've had of both in a long time. The rice had good colorant flavor. The beans were dressed up with meat and cheese. The taste was out of this world! Enjoy yourselves! read more

Everyday I drive by here and have been waiting to try it since it's always busy. Decided to get some tacos for lunch and I would say I was not disappointed. I tried the Tacos de Ocho and they are really good . I feel like they should add more pineapple to them they are good though . Good flavor and texture . I also got the papas preparadas . They are really good but they should add a little bit more of the sauce . Definitely would be coming back for more . The only thing is that it's not a dine in restaurant it's more of a take out . Portions were good, the food however was not fresh it had a mild taste of being refrigerated too long and dry. There was a hair on the out side of the plate and that was gross at least remove it before giving it to the customer the aguas frescas didn't taste natural at all. We had lunch at Taco Del Ocho yesterday and man did we enjoy it. Having worked in Reynosa, Mexico over 20 years, we know what Mexican food tastes like. We had an order of fajitas nachos, tacos Al Pastor and one Gorta. The food was delicious but remember they have no inside dining area. It's eating in your vehicle or at a picnic table. But, it's worth the taste of the food. When we go back to that area, we will eat there again! read more

Overall okay food. We ordered a few things, Gordita, quesadilla, tacos, nachos. Gordita de chicharron 8/10 (my fav item) Quesadilla was okay, 7/10 Nachos 6/10 I originally ordered them for my kids but the cheese has chile in it. Like pieces of jalapeño. So they couldn't eat it. So I low-key don't want to post how good this place is just cause I love that there is never a wait to grab my food but this place deserves your business! I've had more than a few tacos and the are all very good breakfast and lunch. My go to tho is the tripa tacos. I was skeptic at first when seeing the place and a little unsure whether to give it a try but as the saying goes, "Don't judge a book by it's cover". The food was remarkably authentic and exquisite . I was with a party of 2 and they agreed with me as well. We were left speechless over the taste of everything and also their workers are very attentive. Needless to say, we will definitely be coming back for some more, highly recommended. I went here for the first time today and it was pretty good. My girlfriend and I both got the tacos del Ocho which is 4 tacos al pastor with pineapple slices, grilled onions, cilantro, regular onions and two different salsas. The tacos were a decent size, the tortillas looked homemade and the they had a good amount of meat in them. We also had the papa's preparadas which are French fries with fajita and nacho cheese which were also pretty good. They have a decent outside sitting and The prices were alright. This new taco place right next to Texas snowbirds and has authentic Mexican Street tacos, gordita's, and quesadillas. I have been there several times and enjoyed everything I got. The nopalito gordita was surprisingly spicy but very good. The Pollo Asado street tacos are very flavorful and authentic. I especially like the Charro beans, they are some of the best I have had. read more
