Eggs over cooked and not fresh , food served cold. The tortillas were hot and fresh.

In the dallas fort worth area taco cabana keeps getting worse and worse. The quality of the food has gone down. The beef and chicken fajita meat I'd not a very good quality of meat. The prices go up and the quality comes down. TC no longer serves the lunch and dinner products 24 hours a day so I had to order breakfast.

TC coming through with the vegan options! Perfect for a quick bite, fast-food, affordable grab, or just a chill stop. We've tried several different Taco Cabanas and have always enjoyed the food. (Vegan Options, that is!) This place was nice and clean; customer service was very friendly. We had: -Beyond Taco (get hardshell, flour is not vegan, no cheese) -Beyond Taco Salad (love this! No cheese to make vegan) -Chips & Guac COVID Notes -Indoor & Outdoor dining is available. -The order was effortless, quick, & accurate. -Excellent customer service -Masks were not required. Staff wore masks. -No issues at all. Thank you, Taco Cabana, for having delicious Vegan Food!

The joint. Next to a busy highway.

Best street tacos at a fast food joint yet. FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY! Super tasty and bonafide. Added some salsa for an extra bit of spice. EXTRA HATCH SALSA?

OMG do not eat here this business I see the guy who handle the flour and bread here is so dirty using same gloves to clean and handle food even when he dropped it and I saw him also standing on the bread machine while food runs down the machine gloves with machine oil and handling the food and pumping oil oh no!! Beware of this location please.

    The meat for the fajitas.

Taco Bell who?!!!! This place, Taco Cabana was really good and very cheap. I choose the chicken fajitas, extra beans and a margarita. Anyone that knows me, knows that I love Spanish food and looovvvve margaritas. The menu shows a margarita for only $2. I'm sold. With this order came a loaded up order of tortillas (6) to be exact. That's double the number of any other place that serves fajitas. The pico, sour cream, lettuce, guacamole and cheese is also included. So for a mere $15. I'm so satisfied. Leftovers for tomorrow.

    Sopapilla's! YUM!

They were stuffed with tender meat and were not excessively greasy. They come with onion and cilantro and three different salsas. Kind of embarrassed to say I ate it all but I couldn't help it. The place has interesting murals and Mexican music and clay plates which made it feel more authentic. Service was friendly although they gave my plate to the person next to me, they went back and brought me my food fairly quickly. The horchata was also very good.

It's easily our favorite place for anything birria. From the birria pizza to the tacos, everything is incredible. The dipping consomé is seriously to die for, and the meat is cooked to absolute perfection. The service is great, and the Chicano art painted throughout the restaurant gives the whole place such a cool, authentic vibe. We always share the combo because you get a little bit of everything, and trust me, it will definitely fill you up. Seriously, get it. This is our number one taco spot in DFW, and after your first visit, it might be yours too.

Let's talk about the service first. We cal all say we hate slow service. How do you feel about too fast of service? I sat down, ordered my unsweetened tea and ordered my taco salad. While adding sweeteners to my tea the frito chips, tortillas and salsa showed up. Before I could finish adding the sweeteners my taco salad showed up. I didn't even get to enjoy the chips or tortillas. Taco salad was good. I always live eating the fried, crunchy shell.

We were greeted with bowls of those "addictive" Frito style chips accompanied by a mild and hot salsa. I'm so glad they've started providing a bowl of hot salsa. Their regular salsa, albeit very good, isn't as spicy as my wife and I like our salsa. We can not mix the hot salsa to get the perfect heat we desire. Eduardo, our server, was "ready on the spot" in taking our drink orders. Since I've been dining at Mexican Inn for close to seven decades, I know the menu by heart. My wife ordered chicken quesadillas and I ordered the #4, cheese enchilada, crispy beef taco plus rice and refried beans. Margaritas were delivered to our table as we munched and munched and munched on the chips. Oh yummy, I better slow down on the chips and salsa or I won't be able to enjoy my lunch entree. Since it was several hours after the lunch run, Eduardo delivered our entrees to the table. Thank goodness, something else to focus on instead of munchin' on chips and salsa. It was time for a refill of my bowl. Eduardo warned us the platters and food was "la comida está muy caliente - the food is very hot!" My wife and I dug in while also enjoying the wonderful frozen margaritas. Both of our entrees were so delicious. We left Mexican Inn Cafe with very happy tummies. Thank you Mexican Inn and Eduardo for the delightful visit. We'll see you again very soon.

The food is really good and definitely has that authentic Mexican flavor. We ordered the chilaquiles, and we also tried the bread basket, which is 4 pieces for $12. A little pricey in my opinion, but the bread was good. The café de olla is still my favorite, and they serve it in the cutest pink cups! Overall, this is consistently a good breakfast spot. The bean burritos are insulting - a small schemer of beans (and at least 3 other times when ordered by co-workers). Way overpriced given the change - 0/10. Twice now the flautas have been what I experience at other places as taquitos which is why I don't order them. Over fried, dried meat, much smaller than what they got me used to and craving for years. I should have taken pictures. I don't care how much lettuce and crema is put on top, it doesn't fix/hide it. Rice, beans & tortillas are still good. Want the best for them - we all benefit! Was hoping it was just a bad day(s) and change in Cooks. Understand it's likely cost. Want them to know I will pay more to experience the quality and quantity that got me to love them. Held off on posting a lower rating review but felt obligated but honestly 3 stars is generous for some of the 5 occasions I'm grouping in.
