It feels silly to yelp a Taco Bell, but when I saw that they only had a 3 star rating I felt a calling to right this wrong. I love Taco Bell in general, but the staff at the Woodbury Taco Bell are always on top of it and nice. I generally use the drive thru so I'm not able to comment on the inside - sorry! Item wise: my go-to meal combos are the crunchwrap, the chicken quesadilla, or the 3 hardshell tacos and I always add a side of chips & cheese. I do think there are some sleeper hits on the menu that don't get enough credit like the double layer taco and the cheesy gordita crunch. I don't personally care for the nacho fries as they're not up to my standard of crisp, but to each their own! The only downside that I won't punish Taco Bell for is that due to them being open late and teenagers having nothing worthwhile to do at midnight, this location is apparently their hang out spot on weekends and they tend to do stupid things in the parking lot, so make sure you're driving defensively. read more

Avoid this Taco Hell like the plague. They rounded up the dumbest teens this side of the Mississippi to work here. My Togo order was due at 11:45. I placed it at 11:30. A simple Combo meal. I watched two groups come in and order sit down meals and get their food immediately. Being the owner of a company that supplies major manpower in the Woodbury area, it pleases me to know that my 6 dozen tacos I get for the crew once a month will now come from Taco Johns, maybe Taco Libre, or the Taco Hell in Oakdale. read more

I freaking love taco bell and hate interacting with people so walking in and having the self checkout screens is amazingly nice and all of the workers are nice. The only thing i can hate on is that they often forget about your drink if you do that and then i have to ask them for it but that's whatever. and the store itself is cute and nice read more

Kudos to the Woodbury location, you have restored my trust with the Bell. For awhile now, TBell's food has been going downhill and when you start with cheap eats you can't get much lower than crap. The chicken burritos have been garbage the past few years, ever since they switched to shredded chicken. Gross, dry, burritos, lacking in sauce and full of junk rice. I wasn't expecting much from Taco Bell Woodbury last night. It is cheap food fast and that is why I continue to frequent Taco Bell from time to time. It may be subpar food, but it is consistent subpar food that is cheap. Oh how I was pleasantly surprised though that I actually enjoyed my food experience last night! My burritos and crunchwraps were perfect and how I hope Taco Bell wants there food looking and tasting. Adequate amounts of fillings and sauces, rice that actually had taste, decent portions, and courteous staff. Other managers of the Twin Cities should take note of what Woodbury is doing. Refused to give me free water cups and claimed it was 25¢ a cup because of how many I had asked for, I asked for 1 cup and I have never been to this establishment before, the workers were incredibly rude and told me they didn't want my business, I do not recommend coming here after a long road trip for a free water as they will charge you. Your best bet is a McDonald's or Burger King. read more

I know it is a Taco Bell I'm reviewing but I feel like when they are on top of their respective game as much as this place they deserve a good review. I'm not sure what else to say other than they are extremely friendly and helpful when you walk in, and their stuff always seems so much fresher than other local Taco Bells. The main problem with this place though is it is a pretty big pain to get into this place. Tonight I had Taco Bell for dinner. I used to go to Taco Bell (a lot) because I loved the Soft Shell Taco Supreme and the Chili Burrito. I have learned that they do not make the Chili Cheese Burrito anymore--"Big Mistake, Big, Big Mistake! I picked up the 2 Soft Shell Taco Supremes. I was very excited because I have not eaten Taco Bell's food for quite a while. I opened up my food and to my major disappointment, this is what I found: The meat in the taco was bland and tasteless, the lettuce was soggy and wilted, the " tiny" little tasteless squares of tomatoes were awful. And the few pinches of cheese were barely visible. The soft shell was so soggy, it was falling apart as I was trying to eat it. I will never eat there again. read more

This is of course a guilty pleasure. This TB is in a good location, right off a busy street in Woodbury. The quality of service definitely depends on who is working, I have had a visit or two with very polite employees, and also a few when they are screaming at each other and seem to be more interested in chatting to each other than helping a customer. Orders have always been pretty spot on for the most part, although my order is almost as simple as can be. Sitting area is again, situation dependent on cleanliness. I'm not from the twin cities area but I do go to the Taco Bell in Duluth. And this has to be the worst service I have ever seen in any fast food location. There was a boy in front of me that was grabbing his food and he checked the bag and they had gotten his order wrong. So he told them about it and and I didn't hear everything about the problem. But all I do know is that after he left, there were extremely disrespectful and unprofessional from swearing to calling the boy names. It seemed that everyone at this location had an ego and was very unprofessional. Even though it is just a fast food restaurant, it is still a work place. I visit Taco Bell a few times per month, usually the Woodbury location, as it's closest to my home. The food at the Woodbury location is consistent, so no complaints there. However, the other thing that's consistent is the continually terrible service. I always go through the drive through and for some reason, I seem to always get the African dude that can't talk professionally through the headset. Moreover, this dude effs up my order every time. Last week, he forgot any napkins and no silverware, and I ordered an item that requires a fork to eat. Today, I ordered a meal deal, which comes with Doritos. I asked him if he included napkins, he nodded yes. Straw? Another nod for yes. I pull off, and no effing chips. It's always this dude - he's nice enough, but consistent failure. Please put him back on mop duty Taco Bell. Clearly he can't handle the window. For customers, if you get the African dude that sounds like an idiot in the drive thru, seriously check your order, it's likely wrong. read more

I went to Taco Bell in Woodbury for my lunch break today and it was ridiculous. I rarely ever come here but decided to see what all the hype was about with the new fries. I went through the drive thru and ordered the $5 nacho fries box (came down to be what I thought was $5.76). When I pulled up to the window there was a young gentlemen that took my cash (I gave him $10.76) and handed me my drink. I noticed that he went back and was going to hand me another drink so I let him know I had only ordered the 1 that came with my meal. He apologized and let me know the order was rung up for 2 meals and turned to grab a manager. Well, the manager so happen to be the one taking the drive thru orders and instantly says "well I asked you if everything on the screen was correct." I let her know I thought she had said $5.76 and right away cuts me off and says "no, I said $10.76", goes around the nice gentlemen that was helping me, and pretty much throws the $5 change at me and gives me no receipt. By far the worst experience I have ever had anywhere! If the lunch time rush is too much to handle then they should look to hire more staff or maybe this manager should consider a different career path. read more

Arrived at the drive through and ordered a AM crunchwrap at approximately 10am. Was told that the eggs would need to cook and it would be a 5 minute wait. I decided to wait. The punk kid worker came back on the mic and suggested I order something off the lunch menu instead because the eggs would now take over 20 minutes to cook. I was shocked by the ignorance. There is no case in which eggs should take 20 minutes to cook. I promptly left the drive through in disgust. This place does not deserve my business.
