My family tried to dine in and the doors were locked. The drive through was 6 cars deep. We drove to Fort Collins and ordered food and on our way back we drove back by and the cars hadn't moved at all. We will not be returning to this Taco bell even though it is close to us. This Taco Bell is the worst they always disappoint. They are incapable of getting an order right. But like a dog to it's vomit I return. I put an end to this today. Not only has every order been missing items for the last 10 orders. Profits must be bad if theft is how they keep their doors open. Worst Taco Bell ever!! They are super slow even in drive thru you have to wait 15 minutes. They leave food out of the orders all the time, they also make the wrong food. You have to spend another few minutes in the drive thru to make sure you food is at least all there. It is horrible that Windsor has so few fast food places that this is something we put up with. I have bad luck with fast food, but this was the worst. I placed my order online through the app. When I got to the speaker at the drive thru they couldn't locate my order. I had to repeat that they had the wrong name and order multiple times. They said they still couldn't find it and there was nothing they could do. Finally they got a manager. Food is standard Taco Bell food. Staff is friendly and well meaning-the only reason this gets 2 stars as opposed to 1. With that said, almost every drive through order myself and everyone else get is incorrect in some way-it's a running joke throughout Windsor and has been that way for years despite multiple changes in staff, management an complaints to corporate. Even having them repeat the order back to you does not seem to help. I will put a feather in their cap by saying that they are always extremely (and genuinely) apologetic and usually throw in some cinnamon twists. Yes it is fast food. However every time I go there they forget part or most of our order. Being in the restaurant business this is unacceptable. I called the other day after 6 times in a row and the manager apologized and said, after some debate, that we would receive a free meal next time and to just mention my name. Well went to redeem yesterday and it was a huge frustration when they argued me and said no I only get what they forgot last time. I said no she said meal because you forget something every time. So they then called her and she said I had to have my receipt from last time and only got that amount. She never said that originally. Funny part was this order was cheaper than the last! Ugh! People working are always polite and the food is prepared perfect. My single issue is the reflection of the non motivated management. If management worked even 25% as hard as the staff this place would be close to a 4 and a half star place. I am not sure what has happened to this location in recent years, but is absolutely horrible. We sat in the drive thru tonight for 40 minutes. Yes. 40. There was one patron in the restaurant, so it couldn't be too many people. And, after 40 minutes, our order wasn't even correct. One could argue that with the cold weather you were short staffed, but this is not an isolated incident. This location has gone down hill for years. They are always understaffed, there is hardly ever an adult there (if ever), and we are lucky to not have to come back because we are missing items. I am not exaggerating when I tell you we have to check our order before leaving to be sure that everything is right AND that we didn't pay for supremes without getting the supreme toppings. RIDICULOUS!!! "Sorry we are understaffed" is NOT an acceptable comment when I've waited for 35 minutes for my order. No mention from the person taking my order that they are at least 30 minutes out from being able to fulfill my order. Then after waiting 35 minutes to get my order it's WRONG. I told them what I was missing, so they made it "quicker" than my original order. However, I was still missing part of my order!! Wrong again!!! This happened a third time!!!! This place is bad. I went to try and get my last paycheck but the doors were locked with families inside. Which is an osha violation. I called the store four time till someone answered. It was the general manager Rosalinda. I asked her how to get my check with the doors closed. She asked if I could come back later cause they were "busy." I told her that I couldnt comeback and that I needed it now then she hung up. After calling a couple places just to make sure we were correct. We called back and Rosalinda answered again and said that I never told her I couldn't come back. But yet there was a witness there with me. This same manager also hired a high school student then fired him the next day because he couldn't close more than three days a week. She said she wasn't going to hire anyone if they can't close. But everyone that applies there is in high school. So they cannot close every night at 12. But then the manager complains that she doesn't have people. This place shouldn't be running. We went to the drive through to see all the outside signs turned off even though the restaurant was open and we were in line for approximately 30 minutes. We even called to tell them that the lights were not on and to let them know that we have been in line for much to long. The response we got was that they were doing all they could and then hung up. Very unprofessional. I normally would just let it go but this is not the first time this month our experience was the same (horrible). A VERY long wait and no outdoor lights. as far as food quality, this is one of the better taco bell locations in the area. quality and portions generally exceed my expectations. the reason this rating is only 1 star, though, is because of the quality of service. it has always been hit-and miss at this location, nothing worth complaining about, but this evening while at the drive-through window i was shown how little some (if just one) of this location's employees care about the food service industry. the employee sneezed directly onto the cash register twice while swiping my card without covering her face or even turning away. she said nothing at all as she handed me my order, and instead i was given a look that i can only describe as contemptuous. i felt as though i was inconveniencing her by choosing to eat there. it was very uncomfortable and i won't be returning. read more
