My wife and I decided to check out the Grand Re-Opening of Taco Bell on Main St. in Windsor. As soon as we walked in, we noticed the new remodeled dining area. It looks pretty nice. I wanted to use cash so I walked up to the front register/counter to place my order but no one was there. I waited several minutes and still, no one came. I noticed several staff working in the kitchen area. There's this lady working the drive thru orders and she was very busy. So I went ahead and placed my order at the kiosk. My food was ready in less than 7 min, which was a plus sign. The staff that handed me my food forgot to give me our drink cups. So, I waited several minutes again for another staff to come back to give me our drinks. This is ridiculous!Where the heck is the manager? The girl working the counter today should not have a job in customer service! She should have just called in and not showed up with her terrible attitude. Windsor CO manager has an attitude and openly shows disgust with customers Our entire order was wrong. they gave us 2 tortillas with stuff inside for the veggie bowl. When we went back to have it fixed they couldn't understand it was a bowl. the end product was still wrong as it was almost all lettuce and rice. The modifications didn't happen. there was a tablespoon of beans. Stale Taco shells, warm meat in the Taco, my friend ordered supreme soft shell tacos and didn't come with tomatoes or sour cream, the soda foundation was crap, every soda product, other than diet Pepsi, was colored carbonated water, Gross. I ordered an iced Cinnabon coffee and he gave me an unsweetened hot plain coffee, and when I asked for the iced, he said, "did the ice melt?", took the cup back, and dropped a few more ice cubes into the hot coffee cup, and then handed it back. Went to the new remodeled Taco Bell on main st. Food was good however the drink choices were limited...all the lights were flashing and when I asked the attendant to please check the drinks she proceeded to tell me that there was nothing wrong with the machine and didn't bother to check to see if the drinks were empty in back. I've tried multiple times to give this location another chance but I'll be driving to Fort Collins from now on. A few months ago I sat in the drive thru for twenty minutes and no one ever spoke with me to take my order, so I decided to go inside instead where it then took another 40 minutes until I left with my food. Today I placed an online order to pick up in the drive thru and when I got home and opened everything realized they had given me 5 incorrect items. I always stop and check the amount of items I am given but I don't want to have to open each wrapped item in my car to check it. The food I did get that was correct was cold. Ok, it's Taco Bell. You know exactly what to expect as far as the food goes. If you like it, you like it....if you don't you don't. But as far as this location goes, consider it top notch. At many Taco Bell stores I end up getting cranky cashiers, missing food in my orders, and not very recommendable experiences. But at this location in Windsor I have never had a complaint. I have never had to wait long for an order, I've driven through 8-9 times and never once had a screw-up with my order (And one was a drive through order for 9 people!), and the staff creates a generally inviting experience. Taco Bell has discontinued the Taco Salad and I hate them for it. It was my go-to for 20 years. 8 or so years ago they started adding beans and rice which was probably a mistake. My family tried to dine in and the doors were locked. The drive through was 6 cars deep. We drove to Fort Collins and ordered food and on our way back we drove back by and the cars hadn't moved at all. We will not be returning to this Taco bell even though it is close to us.
