I love this Taco Bell, the food is as it should and they work hard and provide friendly service

We thought we'd eat at Taco Bell again tonight. Well when I got our meal home, I found my Crunchwrap Supreme was totally charred on both sides. I mean black on both sides. So I took it back. I spoke to the manager. I asked her where is it okay to send out a burnt up piece of food like that? Plus whoever cooked it and put it in a sleeve like that to be passed to a customer should be fired. That was a joke. She didn't even say sorry. She just looked at me like what am I supposed to do? So then she says what do you want? So I said I want another that's not burnt up. She acted like it's no big deal. This Taco Bell is the worst I've ever seen. The managers have always been lacking. Obviously not checking on the food being prepared. There is no way that she should not have smelled the burnt Crunchwrap. Heck I smelt it in my car. read more

Crazy that you have to wait for 35-50 minutes to get your food because they are backed up and there is literally no one there but myself

Out of beef but up charges for other options. Drive through lady was nice. Was also out of chips, empanadas and various other items. Definitely should be visited by corporate. Didn't go inside so don't know about cleanliness. read more

Stopped into this fast food "restaurant" tonight and no one would even speak to us. Area was filled with kiosks and forget asking for anything special or even a question - no one that works there would even acknowledge us. I would like to say bad service but the truth is there was NO SERVICE. This company wants me to place my own order, pay via the kiosk and honestly I'm very surprised they didn't want the customers to cook their own meal. Obviously they want the customers to clean the bathrooms and the tables also because it was a mess. We left without ordering, as did several other people in front of us - never will enter that place again. read more

Every time I've come to the drive thru the receipt shows exactly what I ordered but when I open the bag everything is messed up. The customer service is terrible, they try to make the customer seem in the wrong for messing up the order and tbh, if your white, they probably don't like you to begin with. When going back thru the line to get the order fixed, the food always comes back either burnt or ice cold. I'm tired of this location being it is the only one in Shallotte, NC, that disappoints every time. read more

You would figure that when you go to the drive-thru and Order a Mexican pizza meal you would get a drink bigger than 8 ounces. Talk about a major disappointment. The power bowls continue to be our favorite item from the menu until they get replaced! I'm concerned when this company has a history of replacing some of the customers favorite items with items at a much higher price point, but the replacement overall lacks taste appeal. One example would be the 7 layer burrito being replaced by a 5 layer burrito at 3+ times the original price point, but is seriously lacking flavor. In addition, a recent item on the menu that I tried for the very first time, and possessed excellent flavor, has already been retired. I continue to just shake my head every time I see a restaurant remove excellent items from the menu. My guess is that the price point was too low, and the ingredients too expensive, (COG) to make an exorbitant markup on the item! The result of that equation is that the item must go to the graveyard! Goodbye Salsa Verde Grilled Chicken Burrito! In addition, it becomes increasingly difficult to patronize businesses that sell items like the Power Bowl thru the takeout lane, but fail to provide silverware in the bag to consume the item. Apparently, we are being forced to return to the Neanderthal period and eat everything with our hands. Plus the trip back thru the drive thru to pickup silverware makes your barely warm food now room temperature. When asking the attendant if we should list silverware in the comments section of our App order the next time, she stated that this is not necessary. So in other words, the expediter when questioned about the silverware, filled our order in the bag but her verbal excuse was, oh I didn't notice that you ordered Power Bowls! Did we say sorry about that after we were waiting in line again to get our utensils? Nope! Last but not least, is it impossible nowadays to train drive thru employees how to say thank you to a customer for visiting their restaurant today, or was the cell phone you were checking more important than the customer? I know that Joe's inflationary policies are making it rough on many of us, but is that too much to ask? read more

One of the Sorriest establishments IVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!!!! First my family and I were denied to enter the dining room AND IT WAS ONLY 8:00pm and the door was locked in our faces! I don't normally write reviews on fast food restaurants because they're known for poor service and mediocre customer service. So they have do something pretty spectacular or pretty bad to make me blink twice and write a review. The shallotte Taco Bell is by far the worst Taco Bell I've ever been to. I've had multiple issues with service, I always get the wrong things in my bad. For example I ordered the "new" five dollar Chalupa box. I was handed a bag and drove off. In side the bag was 2 Burritos from off the dollar menu. NO CHALUPA NO FIVE LAYER BURRITO NO TACO ANS NO CINNAMON TWIST. Nothing that I ordered was right. So I tried to call and after numerous line busy and fax sounds I got to talk to a lady who told me to call back later Bc there was still fax tones over my voice and she couldn't hear me. The lowest I can do is give them 1 star. Honestly I loved at the apartments behind them and went here all the time, and never had a problem. Today June 27th,2017 I told my mom and stepdad i will no longer go here and eat. My tacos were fine. Tasted good, I have loved getting cinnamon twists more recently now and today I got them and they tasted like cleaner. I can't explain the taste besides it burnt my throat and made me sick to my stomach. I couldn't feel my tongue. I brushed my teeth and used mouth wash and the pain was awful. They messed with my food and could've sent me to the ER. I will never come here again and if you don't want to get poisoned like I did I would say DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! Horrible. I generally like (or used to) Taco Bell, but this location was the last time. At 7 PM I waited 22 minutes for a mediocre burrito, tasteless "spicy rice" & a drink. The place was clean enough but the smallest Taco Bell I ever saw. The drive thru customers seemed to get order priority to those waiting to eat in. A coupon issued by this very restaurant was declined as invalid in NC. I did not argue the point. The rice was made palatable only by the plentiful sauce - they didn't scrimp on that. The burrito, which has been pretty good elsewhere was tasteless except for the same sauce. There's a McD & Burger King just up the street & in the same 22 minutes the order would have been ready & I could have eaten & already been back to work. If you are on the run and are looking for a great cheap place to stop go here. Taco bell is very affordable and so good i would come here 5 times a week if i could. One thing that i think is the best thing on the menu is a chicken cheese quesadilla. The sauce on the quesadilla makes it irresistibly good for 3 dollars. I have tried many restaurants quesadillas and would go to taco bell over them any day. The sauce is a little spicy but could easily be eaten by anyone. If taco bell started selling the sauce in a bottle you would see a whole shelf in my pantry of just that sauce. But if you are not into the sauce you can get it with out and it is still amazing. If you are ever deciding what fast food restaurant to go to i would choose taco bell over any fast food chain any day. Please go here. read more

Had the breakfast burrito once before. So wanted to try it again. About 2 weeks ago I went to the drive thru and waited and waited and no service so I left.
