I got the: - Watermelon lemonade spritz: A refreshing, not too sweet, non-alcoholic drink with a sizeable piece of tasty watermelon. - Bánh Mì taco: Pro tip- you can mix n' match tacos! This one was my favorite- I loved the spice from the jalapeños and sriracha aioli, tenderness of the pork, and textural diversity from all the toppings. - Thai chilli shrimp taco: These were some plump, crispy shrimps lol. Sauce was just a tiny bit too sweet for me, but no notes otherwise. - Street corn: Pls do yourself a favor and get this! The sweet, lime-y, cheesy, charred corn on the cob was chef's kiss. They also provide complimentary chips and salsas, which were pretty standard. Ambiance is nice- casual with both indoor and outdoor seating. Service was fast and friendly. Can't comment on parking, but it was easily accessible by Metro. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a group of 6 girls trying to grab an early dinner on a Sunday evening. We were on a…read morebachelorette trip and wanted to enjoy something simple like tacos and margs and saw pretty positive reviews so we thought we'd give it a try. When we walked in at 5:15 pm, it didn't seem all that busy so we approached the host stand. We were greeted with an annoyed voice and a "how many?" To which we responded "6" and he then pointed to a sign that said large parties will automatically have a 22% gratuity added and then proceeded to say "and we don't really have room for you inside but we can sit you outside". Mind you, it was 90 and humid. I asked roughly how long he thought the wait would be (understanding that a time can't always be determined, but at least a rough estimate) to which he said "well I guess I can set you in the corner and you'll be right up against another table, right next to other people" with more attitude. Our group decided to go to Bell's Kitchen instead which is roughly 3 blocks away and we were so happy to give them our business instead. They were excited to have us and had the most amazing drinks, food, and importantly, fantastic service. Super disappointed by the service here but maybe they're great for groups of 5 or less ‍

Respectfully, nothing was fundamentally wrong with the food, but it didn't distinguish itself. I'd eat there again if nearby, but wouldn't travel for it. Service was good for ordering and receiving time. From order to table was approximately 10 minutes which is exceptional considering the quantity of food ordered. The tables needed to be wiped down, and the table service was pretty much non-existent. You order your food at a register, seat yourself and that's that. No waitress or water; you have to buy bottled water. Price point was ~$65 for the taco platter and another ~$10 for the quesabirria tacos. This filled up the family of 4 with leftovers. There is a condiments / salsa bar but customers ran through it and there was mixed food between all the containers. The pickled red onion has their own kick to it which I enjoyed and their salsas/hot sauces are good. The decor is pretty straightforward, tables and chairs, with typical music you'd expect from other Mexican restaurants. Futbol on the TV's and old movies on others. There is a chef at the opposite end of where you order your food, hats off to that man he was very receptive and worked very hard. He helped with getting our table wiped down, our waters, and to go stuff for our leftovers, if he sees this, I want him to know I appreciated his efforts. This review is for my first time experience in Overland Park. I do not know if this is normal or because it was a Sunday that this is what the experience is but I will say, If they offered free water, had a busser, and kept the place more tidy it easily would elevate the rating.

I had some shrimp tacos, and they were so good, pretty much exactly what I'm looking for in a street taco. We asked the server if they could expedite us (not the best planning to come in just 45m before the show started!) and they were happy to accommodate us. They also kept our drinks filled and were very congenial. I would say the prices are a bit on the high side, but that's probably typical for the downtown area.
