They are friendly, attentive, knowledgeable fun makes it all worth it. The food is good, not great but a couple of weird things about this place. They don't serve corona and they don't have flan for dessert. Two things you expect in every restaurant serving Mexican food. The menu is a little limited. It would be nice to see some things in there that are staples generally like Mole dishes and enchiladas Suiza... maybe even a few more combos so people can get a good tasting of various options.

We walked up and we're told by the host that there's a 15 min wait at 6:15PM for inside seating pur we could sit in the outdoor lounge area. We walked around the block and came back just as the host was calling to tell us there was a bar seat available. We descended the steps to what I could only describe as an underground secret garden. It was compact but did not trigger my claustrophobia. There were tables, couches and the bar. We sat at the bar right in front of the cake stand for the oft mentioned Texas Sheet Cake. I ordered the marg special which was grapefruit; my husband ordered the blood orange. Both delicious but the blood orange was a much brighter citrus flavor. We ordered the chips and salsa with a small side of guacamole. I thought the salsa was amazing but husband said it was too much cilantro for his soap gene. Dinner was chicken tinga tacos for me and duck confit tacos for him. The chicken tacos were delicious, among some of the best I've had. The tortilla was a warm, soft, extremely flavorful flour tortilla packed with chicken and topped with microgreens. I'm not a big duck fan so I didnt try my husband's tacos but he loved them. Our second round of drinks was the spicy margarita for me and the same blood orange for him. The spicy margarita did NOT disappoint. We got the last piece of the chocolate Texas Sheet Cake to go as well as an orange vanilla spice cake slice. We ate them at home and both were very good. The staff was all very friendly, funny and warm. We'll go back but definitely wasn't expecting amazing tacos in Maine.

Mosaic completely changed my mind. I ordered the fish special of the day, locally caught haddock served battered and fried over a rice bowl with mango salsa, red onions, beans, and more. The fish was beautifully white, soft, flaky, and perfectly cooked with a clean, fresh flavor. It was honestly the best restaurant fish I have ever had. The portions were generous, the price was fair, and even though I was completely full, I just wanted to keep eating because every bite was worth it. The restaurant was clean, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was quick. I would absolutely recommend Mosaic to anyone visiting or passing through Camden.

And there were complimentary chips and salsa, the former some bland packaged brand but the latter nice tangy choices. Picnic tables were welcome. The burrito was a bit small and heavy on the rice. Maybe more fish for the price would be nice. Otherwise, hard to find a good place on this stretch without stopping/parking in towns.

There are picnic tables scattered around, plus a screened area, and a big sand pit and swingset for the kiddos. Mexican Food in Maine? Absolutely!…read more We found this amazing Mexican spot right in the middle of downtown Bar Harbor, and let me tell you the location couldn't be better! Families were walking by, live music was playing across the street, and people were sitting barefoot on the grass trying to stay grounded. Meanwhile, we were being spiritually guided by the smell of Mexican food coming from Salsa Verde Grill. It pulled us in like a tractor beam! We started with the fresh guacamole, blue corn chips, and their Christmas sauce a combination of red and green sauce. Oh man Christmas came early! That sauce was so good I almost asked for it in a cup with a straw. My wife ordered the steak burrito, and it was so big she couldn't finish it. Imagine that! I ordered the enchiladas topped with a fried egg, refried beans, and rice. Oh boy, I was stuffed but somehow kept eating like I was training for the Mexican Food Olympics. Our daughter ordered the same thing as Dad, but hers was smothered in that delicious holiday sauce. She couldn't finish hers either. My wife and daughter are a couple of wimps! Or maybe I'm just a big-backed roly-poly with no quit in me. The food was flavorful, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere was perfect.
