Around 8pm I walked into Taco Bell to purchase a gift certificate & 3 regular tacos. Needless to say after waiting 15 minutes at the counter I did get the gift certificate but decided to not order tacos. There was one young lady employee working both drive-up & counter. The cars were lined up & I was one of 5 people waiting at the counter to order. It is definitely under staffed & I think there was a manager standing around while two men employees were busy getting orders out. There was a sign on the entry door asking for help. It looks like they could use it. No one was sitting inside eating. All the colors of the tables & chairs were drab & uninviting. Taco Bell needs a good shake up. Customer service is a thing of the past but it doesn't have to be. It is sad to see a business poorly run. The manager should be ashamed of himself for not helping the 3 employees . There was one employee handling the drive-through and one person on the line, while the manager was on break at the same time as another employee--despite long lines both inside and outside. Got a DoorDash order for this taco bell, got there at 2:45 am (15 minutes before closing) and sat at the drive thru intercom waiting for 5 minutes and proceeded to drive up to the window, didn't see anybody inside so I waited about 3 minutes then started knocking and honked a couple times, nobody came to the window, I opened the window and yelled inside, someone finally came to the window and started giving me attitude about how they're closed (it was 2:57 am) and he looked high on some sort of drugs, I had to tell him the name of the order I was there to pickup 3 times before he finally realized what order to grab. I was disrespected, belittled, yelled too, by these employees, we go in the drive thru to get the boxes, the boxes online are 7 dollars, on the menu it's 9, we ask why it was different, they replied with "it's a franchise", oh, okay, no worries, we say, my father says "thanks for the honesty!" Then they say "we need to leave, now.", mind you, we're in the drive thru locked in, where are we supposed to go? I gotta say, I've never been in a Taco Bell quite like this one. We were a walk-in and I think we ordered 6 items; nothing crazy. The order took 24 minutes to come out to us, it was missing one of the 6 items and the only item we special ordered (no sauce) came with sauce on it. The kid felt so bad he gave us coupons for 2 free tacos (everyone was at least polite). No one else in the restaurant appeared to be faring any better than us. I saw the same car waiting at the drive through window the entire time I was waiting. But one thing this 24 minute wait period afforded me was a lengthy look at the manner in which the business ran. The kitchen was full of employees, all of which seemed nice, but in no way in a hurry at anything they did. Someone had attempted to sweep the kitchen floor at some point and had compiled a large pile of food right smack-dab in the middle of the prep area. I've no clue who did this as it occurred before I arrived and remained on the floor after I left. There was food all over the counters. I did see one kid clean out their taco prep rack/space. I'm not from Klamath Falls and had just arrived in town so I've no clue if this is common elsewhere. read more

Went to this location, I'm not sure if they are on drugs there, but the girl at the window didn't know what the hell she was doing, she didn't know how to run the credit card machine and so we gave her cash and she didn't give us our change!!! Went in for lunch, around 1:30, took them 20 minutes to make two quesadillas. The whole time we heard the workers fighting. Told me I couldn't order a diet Mountain Dew (I'm diabetic). Finally got our order, was rudely told it's take out only, and that "their tray has to stay at the counter" well why does your keyosk say dine in or take out? Literally the worst experience with fast food drive-thru ever. Ordered food, then got stuck in-between cars for 45 minutes (not exaggerating) ended up getting out of cars and chatting with others in drive-thru lane because it was THAT slow. Finally got to the window and they expected us to pay (only $6) I said "no we have been waiting for 45 minutes" girl then went and got manager. Manager came over looked at computers yelled at girl then disappeared... we waited for another 5 minutes. Finally manager opens window and aggressively said "can't give out free food" and slammed the door in our face. Spent half my lunch break stuck in their drive through for 30 minutes- the parking lot had maybe 2-3 cars in it so not a busy time. Not once did they apologize for the wait.
