I was working in the Kailua/Kaneohe area the other day, and by the time I realized I should stop somewhere & eat something for lunch. At first I was thinking of going to my favorite - KJ's Local GRINDZ, but it seems every time I'm in Kaneohe, I do that, so I forged on to have something else that day. While driving towards Windward Mall, suddenly I see "BONG"! - Taco Bell! And why not??? I've been a long time fan of fake fast food Mexican, and Taco Bell fits the bill! The nice thing about Taco Bell is that they offer an array of items. I recently saw Taco Bell's commercial for the Crispy Chicken Crunch Wrap, so I thought I'd give it a try. Upon walking into the restaurant, there was absolutely nobody at the ordering counter, but of course since I walked in the restaurant during "off hours" (I was try to get something to eat around 2:45 PM), I get it that no one was manning the ordering counter. Luckily, there were several kiosks within the restaurant where you can place your own food order. Upon navigating through the kiosk, I find the Crispy Chicken Crunch Wrap, and proceeded to order one Diablo Ranch Crispy Chicken Crunch Wrap Slider, and one Creamy Chipotle Crispy Chicken Crunch Wrap Slider. Good price, as both sliders were about $3.65 w/tax. What can I say about the grub? When I got my Diablo Ranch Crispy Chicken Crunch Wrap Slider, & my Creamy Chipotle Crispy Chicken Crunch Wrap Slider, I was pretty shocked at what I had ordered, as both Chicken Crunch Wrap Sliders looked like it was the "Diet Version" because it was so puny! Lol! Taste wise, not bad, but between the two, I think I favor the Creamy Chipotle Crispy Chicken Crunch Wrap Slider, as I like a little spice to my food. Oh well, I should really cut back on my eating anyways, as Bruddah Fran needs to lose some weight! Lol! read more

Taco Bell - Fast Food Near Me - Kaneohe, Hawaii

God, this is the opposite of fast food. Incredibly slow. Went through the app to place an order and pick up inside thinking itd be faster but it took 10 years. Not to mention they're blasting reggae music throughout the whole store floors are sticky. Lady came in, placed an order on the kiosk, and got her order before the one I placed prior on the app to come out. Very confusing. if u can, AVOID. go to the location in kailua and ull still prob get ur food faster with the commute combined read more

Longest drive through line I have ever had the displeasure of waiting through. Its almost like this Taco Bell is in competition with Popeyes for the worst drive-thru experience or they have too few employees handling food prep. Additionally, I requested three hot sauce pack+s and got none, also no napkins. Until they get things sorted I give this outlet a FAIL...BTW ordered and paid with the app but the people ahead of me were apparently victims of this place as well and probably as pissed off... read more

Absolutely ridiculous. I placed an order thru the taco bell app. I placed the order because there is almost always wrong with our order, so I figured you can't mess up from taking an order from the app. When I arrived at Taco bell to get my order, there was a drive thru line of over 10 cars. Now I have to wait and the food I ordered will be cold by the time I get to the front of line. I tried calling the location for 10 min with NO ONE ANSWERING! What is the point to order from an app for convenience and not get it. Im sure this is just a place to rant bc no one would reach out from their corporate. There should be at least a walk up window available. read more

Taco Bell - Drive thru line....have to wait thru all of this to get the food I ordered online. - Fast Food Near Me - Kaneohe, Hawaii

Got an order delivered and I'm waiting this review out of dismay. I received all my items, unfortunately they were horribly assembled, wrapped, and placed in the bag. No napkins, utensils, sauces, etc. Order prep also took 45 minutes for five items, four of which were burritos. Saving grace is that it was semi yummy. Their potatos though were rock hard, boo. read more

I hope this is the correct TB near windward mall. I've been twice in the year & 1/2 since I moved this side. Both times the service has been amazing. So friendly and genuine. The worst customer service in history. Waited 20 minutes at the front counter with employees just walking by fast not even a glance. This has happened over eight times visiting this store. read more

Been here a couple times in the past year or so in the morning when it was supposed to be open but the store was actually closed (drive through and walk in as well) (opening times are online and posted on the store door). Just annoying that I drove in expecting to pick up breakfast. If you see drive-through closed, you should probably just u-turn out instead of parking and checking the store front. Pretty standard taco bell when it is open though. read more

Over 40 minute wait and still waiting in drive through line for Taco Bell. Worse thing is there is no way to get out of line. We are literally stuck! Don't come here unless you got all the time in the world to burn. read more

Ordered ahead and waited for the app indicator to be almost completed before heading to pick up the order. By the time I had got to TB it had been over 30 mins. Ordered delivery and when we received our order we didn't get a single thing that we ordered. They threw in random items into the bag even though my name and all the correct items we ordered was listed on the side of the bag on the receipt. They definitely did this on purpose because they didn't want to make our order. This Taco Bell might be the worst in island and I will never be returning. Management do better!! read more

Every-time I come to this particular Taco-bell I end up waiting sooo long in the drive thru line and instantly regret it. I forget how bad it is, and then I accidently go again and experience the same bad service. 40 min in the drive thru line and they messed up my order. Please improve the efficiency of your store! It's pretty ridiculous! read more

Every now and then, I enjoy eating simple Mexican fast food ~ from Taco Bell. I have not visited this location any other time but during dinner and there is always a line for drive thru and you can be in that line for an hour. Tonite I got out of drive thru and went inside to try order. They are terribly short staffed. There was a handful of customers inside still waiting for their orders and the drive thru line was still long. I left because nobody helped me at the counter as I was just standing there and observing everything. I'm sorry, but I love Taco Bell, but this location (maybe other places too), need some help! read more

The food at this Taco Bell is prepared pretty well. Our food always came out to us on time when I mobile order. The service is pretty good. The ambiance of the inside of this location is pretty clean. The only thing is that they have a limited parking that they share with Pizza Hut which is connected next door. read more

This Taco Bell always disappoints my family and I. You would think drive thru places would be quick and easy but every time we go to this location it takes at least 30 minutes to order and get our food. Sometimes even MORE than 30 minutes. It seems to me the manager is hiring teenagers who also mess up our orders every time we go there -- ex: giving the wrong food items, forgetting our sauces, saying things are out of stock when it's visible to see in the drive thru windows. We spoke to one of the workers and said. "Wow it seems busy tonight huh" and the worker replied, "Nah not really!" When we were in the drive thru for 30+ minutes... so I'm wondering why is there staff but no efficiency and timing going on? Not sure if anything will be fixed because from the rest of the Yelp reviews it looks like tons of us are experiencing long waits and bad service. All the other Taco Bell's I've been to have the same amount of cars waiting like this location and the MAXIMUM time I've waited was not more than 10 minutes. This location is always disappointing to go too. Kaneohe Taco Bell please do better. read more

This Taco Bell is actually so awful. Anytime after 5pm be prepared to wait in line for at least 30 minutes. The staff are super rude. This one time they said I had to circle back in the drive through line because the order wasn't ready... So I just got a refund. I literally ordered two tacos and u want me to wait another 30 minutes..? Staff r just on their phone and don't care. I rather drive to the Kailua one instead and save time read more

This Taco bell has good service they are fast and friendly. The only negative is they say the open at 0700 hours but the drive thru and store is closed until 0730 hours every day. If they need to address cooking issues they should start at 0600 hours and have the store open and rolling by their stated start time at 0700 hours. I do not know how many customers and money they lose daily to this it must be a lot. read more

Unbelievable!!! I just waited 54 minutes in the drive thru line which seems to be the norm at this location and just got home to discover my Nacho Bell Grande was just Chips!! WTF!!! The Doritos supreme crunchy tacos and the Pepsi were solid, the customer service not so much. I know that we get greeted at the drive thru order speaker but I don't recall hearing a 'Hello' or 'Aloha' or 'Welcome' or anything besides 'Order when you're ready'. Even a little 'Hi' would've made a big difference. No greeting at the actual pickup window. Just his hand out to receive my payment. SMH. I want to feel appreciated for choosing your restaurant over all the other awesome eateries in Kaneohe. Just a friendly reminder. That's all I have to say. Good customer service = Happy customers. I ordered four burrito Supremes, two crunch wrap Supremes and four taco Supremes. The fillings in the crunch wrap supreme, barely covered the disk, very thin and mostly tortilla. Same with the burrito Supremes, much smaller portions than I remember at Taco Bell. Nothing special about the taco Supremes, also small portions of filling.. The service of the drive-through was fine. I'm adding Taco Bell to my list of fast food restaurants to never return. Raised prices and reduced portions don't work for me. read more

I'm really disappointed with my recent experience at Taco Bell. My order took over 50 minutes to be ready, even though multiple parties who ordered after me--including groups of five or more people--received their food well before I did. I was only ordering for two people, so there's no excuse for that kind of delay. And when I finally got my order, it was still wrong--our chicken quesadilla was missing. The only saving grace was one male employee who truly went above and beyond to help us and even opened the door for us; honestly, he deserves to be the manager. Taco Bell, please do better. This kind of service isn't it. read more

The line was ridiculously long and they forgot to give me my 2 burrito supremes for 2 meals. I called twice, it rang for a very long time and no one picked up the line it just hung up! Ummmm, please do something with your drive thru cashier, Alton Y. He greeted me with "Welcome to Taco Bell." and left it at that, no confirmation on what I was ordering, and no response to any of my requests regarding certain toppings that I wanted add or subtracted. I felt as though I was talking on a dead phone line. I kept on asking if he heard me, or if he got any part of my order. Seriously some of the worst service at a drive thru that I've experienced. I understand it's hard for businesses to find workers, but in my opinion, the business should at least try to get workers who are attentive and courteous with their guests. I barely heard anything from the other end except for if I wanted any taco sauce, or what drink did I want with my meal. With people like this working here, I can understand your low overall score of only 2 stars. read more

Window employee (older lady with glasses) refused to give me my door dash order simply because-- they weren't responding to the microphone, so I drove up to the window. The line is always way too long but other than that the workers are rude. They need to have their microphones checked because the lady who was helping us started yelling at us if we were ready to order because supposedly they were talking through the microphone but we couldn't hear, she proceeded to be rude to us and not give us our food. read more

Got a mobile order and it was fulfilled perfectly! I had a deal for a free crispy melt black bean taco with an order of $10+, so I got that, a cheesy bean and rice burrito (my fave discount item), and a create your own box (best deal is crunchwrap and beefy 5 layer with cheesy fiesta potatoes (yum potatoes=amazing) and upgraded my drink to a cherry freeze to get myself over the $10 mark. Also added a side of black beans for 55 cents to get that free taco! The app is great and they give you free things randomly as well as you get points for each purchase that gets you more free stuff! The tier rewards are good where you can pick from a bunch of free items. The best deal right now is the nachos and cheese. Love T Bell! read more

The Taco Bell moved about a month ago (December 2021) a block towards Windward Mall and is now on the other side of a renovated Pizza Hut with a separate entrance. It took the spot of where the Pizza hut restaurant used to be and now the Pizza Hut side is just a takeout counter. The Taco supremes I ordered was great as expected. This location doesn't give as much sauce as other locations so I asked for mild, fire and hot to get more sauce. Due to covid the inside dining area is closed and it's takeout only. The tables are pushed against the wall and the drink station is closed, understandable. The inside is nice and I can see myself eating in when it reopens. Employee was friendly and helped me immediately and the wait wasn't too long. One thing I don't like about this location is the parking lot is tight in this new location. If you park you can't get back out easily because the long drive thru line will block you in. Best to go through the drive thru instead of parking or strategizing the best place to park to get out easier. I liked the former location much better with a bigger parking lot so the drive they didn't block the stalls. However, Kaneohe doesn't have enough eating places so I'm glad Taco Bell is still around and didn't close completely. read more

Horrible how slow they are. They are super backed up and just super slow. Not fast food at all.... More like slow food.

Slowest drive-through I've ever been to. Don't enter the line unless you have 1 hour to waste. I'm never coming back.

I've never reviewed a restaurant before but I made an account just for this because this is the worst fast food restaurant I have ever encountered. I've been here on three separate occasions and it has never taken less than 30 minutes to get through the drive through, and the longest I waited was 55. Honestly it's my fault for continuing to try. I'm not sure how you can be so consistently unprepared for the rush, which is what I assume is the case because I don't know what other plausible explanations there could be. The last time I ate here the drive through cashier was visibly intoxicated and gave me the wrong order. Could not recommend this establishment less, if I could give 0 stars I would. read more

I always thought that Taco Bell was "real" Mexican cuisine. Imagine my shock when I went to LA and had a plate of small, round, flat white discs placed before me. They had some chopped meat, fresh parsley, and slices of raw radish. Whaaat? These were "real tacos"...also known as "street tacos". However, I still enjoy crunchy tacos from Taco Bell. The mixture of freshly diced tomatoes, shredded cheese and lettuce help neutralize the slightly spicy ground beef for me. I also enjoy the Beef Burrito Supreme with the soft tortilla wrapped around the melted cheesy filling. Mmmmm... The little bits of raw onion sprinkled here and there are a crunchy delight! I'm happy that there's a Taco Bell in Kaneohe. It even has a Drive Through! How convenient! I also appreciate them honoring the coupons even though they have expired. Heh heh! "Dealages", as Bruddah Fran would say! read more

To start with the good, the food is delicious. That is really where it stops. I placed a mobile order for breakfast and showed at the restaurant about 5-10 minutes later. No one was available at the registers. The manager mumbled something a few times. Apparently he wanted me to use one of the kiosks near the registers. I couldn't hear him well over his mask and the noise in the kitchen. I yelled, a few times, that I placed a mobile order. In between the manager handing orders at the drive thru window, he finally confirmed my order and that they were working on it. Still no one at the front registers. I finally got my order 20 some minutes after placing it. My fault, I didn't realize that the drive thru got the full attention of the manager, but not the front registers. As others have confirmed, the customer service here is poor. I will try the Kailua location in the future. read more

Just wanted to say today was a much better experience than seven months ago. The line went reasonably smoothly, it was an off time though 4:00 PM ...but when I look at the one month ago reviews, I see there are still some issues.
