First time at a Taco Bell Cantina, after a night out with my cousin! We were wanting some late night fast food so we went! It is on a busy street so finding parking is gonna be pretty hard but since it was late, not much was going on in the parking situation. Now I will say that there were quite a few people there since it seemed everyone was stopping by after a night out clubbing and what not nearby! We all had the same idea lol They had a nice bar top where the cashier was but we ordered at the self serve kiosk. They have beer and make various drinks at the bar. The interior was pretty lively. They have $5 all day happy hour margaritas and like these slushie drinks - it's like an Icee and you choose your flavor and your alcohol. Taco Bell Cantinas seem to be popping up around LA. I honestly didn't know there was one in Hollywood. Been to the one in Las Vegas and just recently popped into the Hollywood location. Ordering through the kiosk is easy but what confused me was how was I going to claim my order when it was ready. Everything was digital although I did leave my name before completing my order I just walked away and sat myself down. The place is pretty nice. It is decorated with Hollywood themed items, lots of gold decoration, and some glass chandeliers. I enjoyed the Hollywood theme and was a pleasant experience overall. There is loud music playing in the establishment so it is a bit difficult to hear your name called when your order is ready. I sat in the back and didn't hear my name called to grab my order. While this Taco Bell is a cut above the rest in quality, speed, and cleanliness, I'm here to talk about my man Alan. When I say I've never seen a food service worker that attentive, I genuinely mean it. He called out my name for the Baja Blast and instantly remembered it, and thanked me for coming up on the first call. I asked him about the other flavors out of curiosity and he recommended the alcoholic Margarita flavor, and I decided I'd come back for it another day since I was on the clock. I sat at the bar after he served me and he was kind enough to bring me my food directly, as well as check up and have some conversation through the process. I thought it was nice, and ended up back in the cantina 2 hours later with my coworker for that marg freeze cause he made that much of an impression. Not only did he instantly recognize me, he knew what I wanted and was kind enough to immediately give me a water cup cause I was coughing. Once again he checked up on us and made conversation, and I watched him handle multiple swarms of customers both at the bar and escorting them to the locked restrooms. Give this man a raise!!! Such a nifty new Taco Bell Cantina in Hollywood. The Hollywood Vibe all over this Taco Bell.. Cool props as decor is all nostalgic of this restaurant. Menu is little different with many added items such as Slow cooked chicken added to tacos, burritos and bowls. The Big difference is that They have Beer, Micheladas, shots, Margaritas, and Mezcalitas. I had the Chicken Bowl that had everything slow cooked chicken, black beans, pinto beans, rice, sour cream, pico del gio, purple cabbage, lettuce and guacamole. This is the first Taco Bell where I've had a sit-down meal inside the restaurant...for the past thirtysome years, making a run for the border always involved the drive-through and the bounty was eaten at home. I'd say the Hollywood Cantina is worth a visit only if the novelty of a boozy Baja Blast tickles you. The '20s art deco aesthetic is neat, and the self-order kiosks are much appreciated, but other than that, the only difference of this location is the option of spiked drinks. Plus, it has the negatives of no drive-through, constant flow of people (as one would expect of a tourist area), and due to always being so busy, the tables, floors, and bathrooms aren't the cleanest. My usual TB order is two soft tacos and two hard shell tacos, both supreme, with lots of diablo sauce - pretty basic, and other than limited-time items, I have never strayed from this order. (I enjoyed two erstwhile menu items immensely, volcano tacos and the caramel apple empanadas.) At the Hollywood Cantina, since I was dining in, I thought I'd choose some Taco Bell classics that I'd never had before. I got a chalupa (I didn't drop it), a crunchwrap supreme, and the pièce de résistance - a Baja Blast spiked with tequila. The service was quick and efficient, the food was hot and tasty, and the hard Baja Blast was a delight, served in a tall plastic bong-like vessel with a crazy straw. Bottom of the barrel trash! Go to any Taco Bell but this one. I made an online order and the order was accidentally confirmed for this address instead of the one on Vine. I tried to cancel immediately but the app would t let me, even tho I caught the error as soon as I press the button. I call this location 12 times to talk to someone and I never got a single answer. And this is in a Monday night mind you, definitely not their busiest day. Wonder what my options would be if I needed to talk to a staff member for any other reason. For the life of me, I never knew that Taco Bell had a Cantina included in their chain of fast food restaurants. However, while walking down Hollywood Blvd, I was in shock when to see Taco Bell looking a lot different from the restaurants that we see nationwide. I had to walk in to see what set this location apart from the general locations that people often frequent. First of all, it's a Cantina, and you know that this means that some alcoholic beverages will be available to patrons. After all, when you walk inside, the first thing that you'll notice is that there is a bar front and center. You can have a seat at the bar or order some drinks and sit at the tables. I don't drink alcohol, so I really couldn't name all of the drinks that were on the menu. I do know that they had nonalcoholic versions of their icees and alcohol infused versions as well. The dining room was very clean and seating didn't seem to be crammed close together. The location itself is small, but still large enough to accommodate tourists and locals stopping by for a quick bite to eat. Place your order(s) at the kiosk, get your receipt via text, and find a seat while they prepare your food. They'll call your number and you'll pick up your food at the counter. Also, mobile order/food delivery services will pick up food on the shelves next to the counter. The menu is pretty standard. The only thing that differs here is that you can purchase alcoholic beverages. You will still see the standard tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and so on. You can customize your order, omitting and adding to your meal. It's relatively easy and takes a lot of the frustration out of the entire experience. Honestly, I really liked this place. Taco Bell Cantina had a different vibe to it. The place was very clean and you didn't really feel like you were inside of a Taco Bell restaurant. It was pretty neat! I definitely plan to stop by again when we are in Hollywood looking for a quick bite to eat! read more

The food was interesting. But the customer service was by far the worst. I ordered food at the kiosk and my friend and I waited to use the bathroom in the line. This rude lady looked at us weird in an aggressive tone we have to order something to use it. Which I told her we did and I showed her the receipt I got via text and she didn't even acknowledge and asked for the name which I gave her and she went to the back and yelled at her coworkers to check for my name if I ordered, which I did. Then said oh ok. Whtv after waited about 30 minutes for our food, which I went to the pick up area to check if it was ready. And she was just standing there ignoring my friends and I and I asked nicely every time until she finally said wait up we don't have it in a rude manner and walked away. Lastly my other friend did buy food there and asked for the bathroom code, again rudely ignored us after asking politely. Until she walked my friend to the bathroom like if she didn't know where it was and walked away not even opening up the bathroom. She had to wait 10 minutes then the same rude lady finally actually listened and opened up the bathroom. Hello Taco Bell Cantina! We meet again, but after much improvement. This elevated Bell of the Tacos is one of a kind with its self ordering kiosks, custom ordering just the way you like! Or go for the classic experience and order at the counter where they will also call out your name for your order. You can enjoy a Taco Bell feast at a booth, table or counter as well as refreshing soft drinks, blended sips AND adult beverages, yes that includes cocktails, craft, domestic and imported brews and I believe some limited wine as well. It's not quite a full bar, but it's not too far off and they have some good essentials. I believe you can make a lot of their classic signatures like Freezes, Lemonades and Baja Blast (as mentioned in another great review) boozy! I initially stopped in to try the new vegan crunchwrap available at select locations only, but found out that you have to order it up front rather than their kiosks since it's not available taco bell wide YET. I do go for some of my classic cravings via their Veggie Cravings menu (I just hold the dairy). A vegan foodie gotta foodie hahaha!! :D A Black Bean Chalupa Supreme, Spicy Potato Soft Taco, Fiesta Veggie Burrito, Black Bean Crunchwrap Supreme, Veggie Power Bowl, Bean Burrito (fresca style makes it the best) and those cinnamon twists are some of my favs. I do love that this location has convenient ordering as well as good service. You can also order delivery or pickup via UberEats, Postmates and DoorDash (with a designated pickup area near the register) if staying close by or a local with fast food cravings. I don't usually eat this but we wanted to see what the fuss was about. I think I only had a Doritos taco which was solid but I remember the alcoholic drink menu was cool. I sat at the bar and there are no hooks under bar to hold your packages. The place is located in a major shopping district, Hollywood blvd, so you would think they would have these installed. To use the restroom you need a code, but they don't give it to you. You have to be escorted to the restroom! I guess this is because it's on Hollywood blvd with so much homeless this is a necessity. I read a news article that this particular Taco Bell Cantina had opened in Hollywood so I grabbed my closest Taco Bell heathen of a friend and had to check it out. We had to see what it was all about since Cantina locations so serve alcohol, and the nearest Cantina locations that I know of are in Orange County and Vegas. TBC is located in the busy touristy stretch of Hollywood Blvd, so parking will be horrible and there's lots of foot traffic in the sidewalks. I'm sure it'll be more crowded once it's more widespread that it's open. It's easy to miss if you're not looking for it, but a fun landmark to go off of is the Scientology building across the streets LOLOLOLOL (please don't beat me up Tom Cruise) The location is smaller than I'd anticipated. There's ordering kiosks immediately to your right and they are VERY crowded together so personal space bubble sensitive people beware if you're self conscious of being elbow to elbow with strangers as you order your Mexican Pizza and Baja Blast. When my friend and I didn't notice there wasn't any alcohol to order in the kiosk we went to the counter to order with someone the old fashioned way (cuz we're so 2000 and late). Turns out-- their bar isn't open for at least two weeks. Is that true? Who knows! Do I believe them? Maybe!? Either way, it was hella disappointing since they're a TBC that's been open for about a month with still no bar. Taco Bell Cantina? More like Taco Bell Cantinahhh, amirite? The food was fine as you'd expect with any Taco Bell location. However, the meat in my soft tacos felt grainy and had a weird texture. But the grumblies in my tumblies and my disappointment there was no bar outweighed my desire to send them back. I have to say, I'm shocked at how nice this Taco Bell is and how good the service and food are. Considering it's in the mecca of tourist-trap-ville, California, I did not expect a Taco Bell experience better than other locations. I rarely visit Taco Bell and this time a friend and I stopped by because we just wanted a quick bite, a cheap meal, and something close so we didn't have to walk far in the rain. I love the interior design and layout and the whole place - including the bathrooms - is super clean and tidy. I ordered pick-up and although it wasn't quite ready when I arrived, I was happy to see things made fresh and it was only 1 or 2 more minutes before my bag came out. Our various items didn't skimp on any fillings or ingredients, everything was hot and fresh, and the food actually tasted better than other locations. I have noticed while driving around there are two Taco Bell's (Cantina) that serve alcoholic drinks one in Downtown LA near 7 and Fig and the other one is on Hollywood Boulevard across from the scientalogy building Margaritas start at 5 dollars beer starts at 6 dollars and mix drinks are a bit higher. Food prices are about the same as other Taco Bell's parking can be hard for both places other than that I will be going back and I recommend these Taco Bell Cantinas for a good 5 dollar margarita read more
