Proper taco looks to be able to support, seemingly, any dietary concern... if it isn't already noted on their menu, I recommend just asking about your needs. There are almost too many tasty items on the menu; after a few minutes, she ordered tacos and I ordered Merv nachos for my wonderful wife and me. While we waited we laughed at the many magnets and other items with humorous quotes on them. We enjoyed this great food back in our seats, at the concert. On my return visit, the owner remembered my order and personally whipped up the same El San Diego breakfast plate for me again. It was just as incredible the second time. I thought I had stewed up my going north Tony's taco stop. Yelp to the rescue! The Yelp app pointed out they had a Tawas location. I got the Macho Taco with beans and rice. WOW! Relative to the restaurant itself, it is kind of tucked away on the side of a small strip mall and not readily visible from the road. Also of note, this is a counter order take out business model with no indoor seating and just two small tables on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant (4 total chairs). Something to keep in mind if you are looking for an indoor dining option. Overall, I believe the more traditional Mexican food options are good at this restaurant but it is the unique/fusion options that make this business stand out from other Mexican restaurants in the area. These unique food twists will be the primary driver of my return visit, which I will definately be doing, to sample some of their other fusion options that they offer. Definately a restaurant to seek out and sample if you are in the Milford area.
