July 3rd 2021: Ok so I'm driving through to see the country and hunt down people in my family tree…read more(genealogy). I have driven 5874 miles since June 11th, 2021 so when I stop I need to make it good. My options are often limited due to the dog being with me, it's super hot in July, and reviews of fast food in Hazelhurst, Mississippi are a pretty sad state of affairs. When I saw some user (with 4 reviews, no photos not even a profile photo) bashing this Burger King because he hates Pride and Pride month? And that has nothing to do with the service or food? When the entire country celebrates Pride in June? And others had good reviews? I was like - cool, I'll not only patronize this establishment, but I'll also be behind schedule to review this Burger King. My experience: An employee with a key actually came out to tell me the lobby is closed go to the drive through. Who does that? They could have let me walk to the door to see the posted sign but they didn't - they came to tell me. My food was HOT and as fast as I could expect it considering they MADE it for me! (Another Burger King in Virginia also has us no Lobby access during Covid.) PS Lots of other cars, and nice ones at that, were coming in steady to eat here. If locals come I take that as a good sign. They were very nice here! I recommend coming to this location. They make it your way!

We just ordered 4 meals and we can't get water. I could see if we weren't buying anything but if someone is spending money in your establishment you give them water. Then this guy was rude when I seemed surprised. Don't worry we won't be back to this Burger King or any other Burger King for that matter.

The amount of food on the P5 is a joke. We have tried it several times and they spread a scant amount of rice and top it with a few chips of meat and try to call it a P5 Our orders have been incorrect on several occasions. Today was the final straw. We won't be back. The server took our order wrong today and tried to blame us. Not cool at all. The frustration cannot be overcome by the convenience. We will drive to Byram if we want Tex mex.

LOVE THE PRICE, for that reason alone 5 stars. I am not from the area, but have lived around here…read morefor a year now. It is the best Mexican food in Mississippi, unless of course it's home made, however, if you are familiar with other locations in the US then it is only a good decent place that maybe would get 4 stars instead of 5. You can either order to go, order at the machine, or sit down and someone will take your order at the table. It can be a little confusing the first time you go especially if you don't speak Spanish. The fajitas are ok, sometimes they are burnt. My favorite is the carne asada burrito with fries, you can never go wrong! The place is usually busy during lunch time, and steady/slower throughout the rest of the day. The bathrooms are not the cleanest either. The market itself is okay. It is either a hit or miss. Mostly a miss.. but the home made tortillas are really good if you are lucky enough to get to the market before they are all sold out.

I told my husband I felt like barbecue today and our friends told us that a new place had opened where a previous barbecue joint had been in Wesson and it was great. Fast forward we sit down and realize from the menu that you cannot get brisket until after 5 PM. I opted to not to order anything and had a few french fries and some of my husband's mac & cheese off his plate. I. Was. Disappointed. My husband got the pulled pork plate with mac & cheese and french fries. I did not try the pulled pork but it looked good. He said it was good but not amazing. Very fair on their portion of pulled pork. Fries were hot and fresh with zero salt and I'm not even a salt girl. My husband was shocked when I said they needed salt. The young lady said they make their mac & cheese in house. If they do, they really need to find a different recipe. It screamed Stouffer's mac & cheese cheese. The french fries are just ordinary french fries. Their house barbecue sauce is delicious. I couldn't quite put my finger on what the taste is. Maybe a little bit more mustard than others but it's good. Will we go back? I really don't know. We were not blown away. I don't know what they can change about their cooking to have brisket available at lunch but a barbecue place that cannot serve brisket until dinner is just bizarre. We live 30 minutes away and honestly, unless we're passing in the evening, we won't be going for dinner. It was clean and I do love that they have their rolls of paper towels hanging on the wall as opposed to sitting on the table Overall, it's bbq. What else can I say?

We've had bbq, burgers and wings here and all were delicious. What I would like to see different about their hamburger is thinner patties. I like a restaurant that offers thin patties and you can get a single or a double. Both kinds of burger people are happy when you have that option. The beef is a bit thick for my taste, but it tastes good and has very fresh toppings. Crinkle cut fries could've used a little extra time in the hot oil today. Portions are generous. Prices are fair. They always have something sweet. The cakes aren't scratch but they are delicious and you can't beat a piece of frosted cake for less than $3. They always hit the spot after our meal. What really stands out in this place? In addition to good food, they are all incredibly friendly and this is the cleanest place to eat in Hazlehurst. Everything is well maintained and clean. Per the usual I started eating before I took my picture.
