I usually order pick up or drive through but service seems to be very well carried out as well as managed. The refried beans were smooth and was the first item I finished!I tasted some sort of stock in it too. Unfortunately, the mall that it sits in is depressed with many stores closed as well as some shuttered food vendors in the food court. I saw evening customers come in to go and get food only. The food is much better than the mall itself. Workers are busy cooking with low AC because they must shut or lower some of it in this under utilized mall.

I really wanted to like this place and we were excited to try it…read more When we arrived there was NO ONE there. The host greeted us without a smile and seated us. The waiter was very over the top friendly and pushy which made us feel like we were dealing with a used car salesman. When we mentioned we were there for Happy Hour the friendliness then turned to dismissive as he told us we would need to sit at the bar for that. We were sitting at a table next to the bar and the bar was all high tops. Again, NO ONE else was there. I asked if there was any low top seating that would count as sitting at the bar due to having a condition that would make it painful to sit on a barstool. He unapologetically stated "No". I was not going to pay more for my food and drink due to geography, so I stood at the bar. As we looked over the menu the bartender, host, and waiter stood at the end of the bar talking and gossiping. It seemed very unprofessional since we were the only ones there and we could hear their entire conversation. The bartender was very friendly. We ordered the bowl of queso and the bartender asked if we wanted it loaded and we told her no. We also ordered the bistec and chicken tacos with no pico de gallo. When the queso came out it was a small cup full of what looked like onions, but probably pico de gallo. We told the bartender we ordered the bowl and did not want the pico. She took it back and then gave us another small bowl and it was topped with meat. She could tell we were not happy and asked if everything was okay, so we explained we had ordered the bowl, not cup and just wanted plain queso, but at this point we told her it was fine. When the tacos arrived the bistec were covered in raw onions. This was not listed on the menu and not something either of us wanted which is why we said no pico. We sent those back as well but told her we did not want them replaced. We split the chicken tacos and were not impressed so we didn't order anything else.

I have been in twice in the last two weeks. The first time was so bad that I couldn't believe it…read more So, I gave them another change. Well, the results were the same. It's not the food, but the food is average at best. Nothing special. The big issue is the service. They are very good at telling you want you want to hear with no knowledge that is case. e.g. I asked about my order after longer than expected with nothing served. I was told, "They are just finishing." The waitress had no way of knowing this. She didn't go check. She didn't ask anyone and became offended when I asked, "How do you know that?". The food showed up 15 minutes later by the manager who wanted to discuss my comment. No apology for the over 20 minute wait from the time the order was put in. The arrogance and attitude of the help is all you need to know is what we tell you. Don't challenge our authority. The food isn't good enough to overcome this treatment. There is no ambiance. Only two other tables with guests both times I went. The help stays behind the bar talking amongst themselves.

The bistec and fajita tacos were solid and tasty. I got a tripita taco as well and the flavor was good but I prefer my tripas a little less cooked than these.
