My memories of the Second Street Taco Bell go way back to the days when they were located in the original brick building at Second and Madison. That original building is still there, but occupied by another business. This modern day version is located to the south of the original, in the other side of the street. The inside is spacious and clean, and the self service taco sauce has always been fully stocked. I typically go with "Fire" but have recently taken a liking to the green stuff. I have been here on several occasions, but I've never used the drive thru or had anything from the breakfast menu. On my most recent trip, I killed two birds with one stone and drove through and got breakfast. I opted for a sausage breakfast taco combo with coffee. The Mrs. went with a sausage burrito combo with OJ. Both the taco and burrito were hot and fresh. The hash browns and coffee were some of the best in recent fast food memory. If you opt for OJ, there is a thirty cent uncharge. Breakfast for the two us was a touch north of ten bucks. If you're thinking about breakfast, keep in mind breakfast ends at eleven. I will definitely think outside the bun and return for many more runs for the border. read more

This has to be the worse Taco Bell I ever go to, I'm not goin there that often but when I do it's always a bad experience. Missed one of the tacos I ordered and they asked me over the intercom if I wanted hot sauce, I said which ones I wanted. When I got back home missing taco and no hot sauce. The guys attitude was absolute trash, and if you hate your job maybe quit? Even the food isn't as good as other locations. This was disgusting beyond words. My husband and I went there to see if they had the new Mountain Dew Baja Blast Pie after they refused to answer their phone. Later we placed an order through their kiosk around 3:10pm local time for 1 large Baja midnight 1 medium dragonfruit refresca, 1 cheesy bean burrito with extra nacho cheese sauce, 1 beefy 5 layer burrito with no nacho cheese sauce and no sour cream but add fresco, 2 nacho cheese DLT with no lettuce 1 chicken champagne supreme with no lettuce and add Pico de gallo and add avocado ranch 1 chicken chalupa with no lettuce and add pico de gallo and 1 beef soft taco supreme with no lettuce no cheddar cheese add creamy jalapeño and add Pico de gallo. After 15 minutes of no updates an employee asked us if we had ordered from the catina selections which we said no and we told them order and the name it was under. He goes to register but says nothing. 10 minutes later a woman from the drive thru says she was given our order and her mother had opened it up. The employees in the kitchen look at the bag, throw it in the trash and fix her order for her but are still refusing to talk to my husband and myself. Finally after the woman receives her replacement order, an employee goes to the trash can and retrieves the receipt and hands us one empty cup and one cup with the other drink. When I went to get my soda from the dispenser it was flat and disgusting so I poured it out and got a fresh non flat soda. 5 minutes later they hand us the now correct order but refused any communication or any contact with us not even an apology for the trouble. We were there over 40 minutes and were not given any apologies or reimbursement for our troubles. I do not recommend this Taco Bell at all! read more

I got the Mexican pizza tonight and a mountain dew blast it was delicious! I always love this Mexican pizza here and I get it every time either that or a quesadilla with chicken with the sauce. I got to say though this pizza tastes way super better than I've ever tasted!! Been here about 3 time since it's the closest Taco Bell to me. 2 of the visits they asked me what hot sauce I wanted as I was ordering and both times got home with no sauce in the bag at all. 80% of the time when I ask for the large Baja blast freeze they give me either a small freeze, small Baja soda or a large Baja soda. This past visit they handed me a small Baja soda and I told them I ordered a large Baja blast FREEZE and the person at the window handed me a large Baja SODA. I always make sure to say it loud and clear and to check the screen too. It doesn't sound like a big deal and normally it is not but this is like 10th time they've done it. After not getting my fill at a sushi place up the street, I stopped in here to try their quesarito with steak and a medium ice tea. Never have I ever waited so long in a drive-thru line in my life. This is for a doordash order that was supposed to be delivered 20 minutes ago and I haven't even made it to the speaker yet. The customer is upset (rightfully so), so I called and asked if they could hand me the order through the door and they said no.
