My daughter had a little bit of everything, and the portion sizes were so generous that the two perfectly fluffy pancakes went home with her for breakfast tomorrow. What he did do was interrupt my and my wife's conversation to ask us how we were doing and tell us that if we needed anything, to "let us know". He came back again - and again, while my wife and I were talking, he talked over us and asked how our meal was (still not introducing himself or saying excuse me). Again he said if we needed anything, to "let us know". The bottom line is if he'd come to our table a third time, I was wanted to tell him to get away from us and stop coming to our table. But it probably wouldn't have come out as nice as that. I've been to restaurants where the host or manager will come by and ask how everything is. Rachel also asked us that but she was our server and that's the professional thing to do. But this guy just walks up and doesn't say who he is, looks like he's dressed for a booze cruise and just tramples all over the conversation at the table. He is rude. And he was certainly the worst part of our experience at Chili's in E Wareham. I hope he reads this. Dial it back and introduce yourself to the people you are interrupting. And when you tell them to "let us know", take your own advice and let them let you know. You don't need to do a second visit to tell them again.
