All taco bell food is the same but what makes this specific location exceptional is the service and attention to detail. My sister had a very specific order and Matthew made sure to get it right and even came out to ask if everything was up to par!! The employees were extremely nice and helpful. This rating is not necessarily for the food, because all food at TBell is pretty much the same. This rating is for the establishment. The people who work here are amazingly friendly and they really care about providing quality customer service. The bathrooms and restaurant are very clean, so I immediately felt comfortable eating here. Not only that, but this Taco Bell is pretty much the only vegan-friendly restaurant that I could find in the area. Truth be told, it was my first time at Taco Bell as a vegan and it will not be my last! TBell food is very easily veganized - swap beef for black beans, order burritos fresco style, ask for no cheese and sour cream, etc. Not only that, but the sauces are vegan! I love the mild and the diablo sauces! For vegans, my favorite thing to order is the Mexican Pizza without cheese, and sub black beans for the beef. Best Mexican food in all of New Mexico possibly! Bold claim you say? Hear me out. They basically have the same ingredients as every other New Mexico Mexican restaurant: fried rice, refried beans, low end cheese and meat. If you do get any vegetables it will be a tablespoon of pale diced tomatoes and shredded iceberg lettuce. The only difference with Taco Bell is they won't add pig lard or MSG to these ingredients to cheat on taste at the expense of health. Taco Bell also has great hours, good prices, and fast service In addition to fewer unhealthy additives like the aforementioned pig lard and MSG.. If you want real Mexican food with vegetables, moles, and healthy ingredients you'll have to go to a dwindling number of traditional restaurants in Mexico or California. read more

Typical New Mexico incompetence... expect to wait at least 20 minutes in the drive-through for a taco and a burrito.

While at this Taco Bell establishment some of my crew noticed some very interesting scribes of paper that were placed in what seemed to be some very unsafe locations. One member of my crew was almost ran down when retrieving a scribe from the drive threw line. Very unsafe of him. The inside of this establishment was spotless save for a unsightly and dangerously placed split taco directly underneath the soda fountain. However security was great and would be soda thieves were promptly deterred and politely reprimanded. The bathroom was only a single stall which caused a rather unsafe line to form preventing patrons from exiting in an emergency situation. They now offer senior drinks. Sometimes the servings are skimpy. Employees mostly frienly, they did not have a nutrition sheet and had no clue what it is. It is required per FDA regulations. read more

Now, let's be real--this is a taco bell. Yes, enchirito, deluxe crunch wrap supreme, taco bowl deluxe, whatever strange hybrid not-really-mexican food they can come up with, and it's a national fast-food chain, to boot. BUT, having said that, this taco bell in Deming is a nice and friendly place to come have a quick meal on the go. We have 2 kids and we don't always want to walk into the mexican restaurant for real tacos. Not that these aren't real tacos, but I don't know many mexicans here that "love" or much less "like" taco bell. BUT MANY OF US END UP THERE ON A SOMEWHAT USUAL BASIS! They treat you like a friend, they say thank you, and will make small talk with you and make sure everything is just right with your food. Sounds like a no-brainer for other service oriented places, right? But unfortunately it's few and far between these days especially with fast food, but this taco bell location has figured out how to treat people nicely, and have them walk away feeling great about it, even if it is just taco bell. I ate here the other day while I was passing through Deming on a road trip. The interior of the restaurant looks like it hasn't been updated in decades and the food was pretty typical for a Taco Bell, but I got some of the best service here that I've ever gotten at a fast food restaurant. The man working behind the counter (very tall with a cleft chin) cracked some good jokes and was very kind to me when I misunderstood one of his questions multiple times while ordering. He was also kind enough to bring me my food when he saw that I had my hands full and would have trouble carrying my food to my table on my own. It was greatly appreciated. Additionally, while we were eating he came around to all of the tables and asked how our food was and offered to clean up if we were finished. Sometimes I don't get service that good at sit-down restaurants. If I pass through Deming again I would I'll definitely come back here. read more
