Far and beyond the slowest Taco Bell in the area, whether thry are busy or not. Never once have been able to pick up and order on time. Took them 40+ minutes to make 3 hard shell tacos. Workers are always nice. Please lace is clean. It's Taco Bell. You know you are going to get some variation of beans, chicken, beef or steak with lettuce, tomato, cheese. If you order right you will also get guacamole and sour cream. Good bang for your buck. Only real complaint is that they rotate menu items in and out. read more

Sign on the door says they open at 7. It says nothing about dining hours vs drive-thru hours or anything like that, just that they open at 7. The woman working there would not let us in. As Taco Bell's go this one is nice. Very clean, friendly staff, organized soft drink and condiments section, and clean restrooms. The deduction of one star is due to the long wait for food to be ready. At least 6 or 7 minutes. While we ate inside we watched cars in the drive through zipping through in under 2 minutes. Dining in customers are clearly not the priority here. While my Five Layer Burrito only had a very small portion of ingredients in them and I dropped another star. So yes, they're just a $1.79 but come on. Flavor was OK though it was lacking in cheese. The soft tacos were great and veggies were cold and fresh with chicken plenty hot. Very tasty. Went for some baja blasts, made an innocent mistake thinking they came frozen, when we politely asked if we could instead have frozen ones, Kylie D. (The worker who took our order) went "UGH" and slammed the window shut so she could complain about us. Then she fixed our order, which was appreciated, and said "NEXT TIME ASK FOR THEM FROZEN." They "didn't" get our order from online and then once we asked to go to the window to speak to them clearly vs the speaker they said OK only to tell us they wouldn't take the order at the window because "their time would go up" and they only care about their time. Pulled up yo the speaker to order my food. I pulled up at 12:04 with 3 cars ahead of me (one was placing their order). My order was not taken until 12:14. When I finally got to the window my order was not ready, not even the soda. Paid at 12:32. and received my food about 3 minutes later. Mow I understand its the start of lunch time and there can be times you wait a few extra minutes but 31 minutes in a drive thru waiting on food thats pretty much prepared? Where do they do that at? I could not believe how long it took. It was like being stuck in traffic on the expressway with the next exit 5 miles away. Who is doing the scheduling? Are they looking at day to day, month to month data of when the restaurant is most busy? You have to take care off the customer in a timely fashion. A whole lunch hour gone. General manager or district manaher really needs to spend time with management and nop this in the bud. NO ONE WANTS TO SIT IN A DRIVE THRU FOR 35 MINUTES! I have been to this particular Taco Bell location numerous times and I have to be honest- every single time has been a positive experience EXCEPT for last night's. I wanted to write a review based upon last night's experience because I am hoping that management takes a look at reviews on here and can use this review to ensure that they are utilizing best practices. Around 6.30pm I went through the drive-thru to pick up some dinner and my order for myself and someone else was pretty basic- two soft taco supremes, two drinks and two gordita crunches. Easy peasy. First of all, while ordering, we were incredibly rushed by the individual on the other end. She sounded annoyed, frustrated and in all reality, probably shouldn't have been working in the drive-thru if it was going to be such a hassle for her. So we ordered our food with the rude lady and pulled around as she requested. When we got to the line near the window, we saw a young employee putting up a banner outside. It was extremely windy, and he was having a bit of a difficult time putting it up which is understandable. The problem was that the person in the drive-thru window (the rude lady) was yelling at him, telling him how to do it in a very rude manner and then finally said "forget it, I'll do it!!" This, my friends, was heard two car lengths back, as we were still waiting in line at this point. The kid looked upset and embarrassed, and I would have felt that same way if someone was barking orders at me from across the drive-thru lane. Anyways, we get up to the window and lo and behold, the rude lady yelling at the employee and hurrying us was a MANAGER. NICE. She shoved the food at us, barely acknowledged our presence and huffed and puffed the entire time. I was shocked, because the employees are usually always so kind, but this manager was RIDICULOUS. When we finally got to our destination and opened up the bag of food, everything was soaked through with juices and sauce. Disgusting. Even the hard shell gordita crunches were soggy. We probably will go back again, but I can honestly say that if I see this manager again, we will have words or we will just go to another location. I hope this isn't the head manager and someone will be able to assist this lady in proper etiquette in terms of general manners and in running a restaurant. read more

We decided to have lunch today at 2pm, from Taco Bell Restaurant on La Grange Road in Countryside, Illinois. Sounds good doesn't it?? We put our orders in at the Drive thru, sounds normal doesn't it? But when we got to the pick up window and requested 'mild sauce' there's where the problem comes in! We were told "NO MILD SAUCE UNTIL 3pm"!!!! The question was asked, "Why no mild sauce until 3pm?" (Normal question, huh?) The response was, 'I DON'T KNOW, WE ARE "LOW" ON IT AND CAN'T GIVE OUT ANY UNTIL THE NEXT SHIFT!!!" TACO BELL with no sauce is like McDONALD's without ketchup, or PIZZA HUT without cheese! Why were we not told when we ordered at the drive in, but only when we got to the window to pick up our food? So my strong suggestion is the next time you go to TACO BELL anywhere, especially the one on La Grange Road in Countryside, Illinois, you ask if the restaurant was 'FULLY STOCKED' before ordering, or better yet, go to PEPE'S RESTAURANT or anywhere but TACO BELL! This in my opinion is not the basic employee problem this is a MANAGEMENT ERROR. I would really love to hear the answer, if you are 'low' on an item, how is it to be decided who gets what is left, and if there actually is none left, WHY??? Take this as a warning! I give up. I've been here 5 times in the last 4 months and the staff has never gotten my order correct. My first visit was in the dining room where the manager argued with me about whether or not I wanted avocado on my Cantina bowl. I did not want the scoop but wanted the dressing. He could not wrap his head around that. He was rude on top of his lack of listening. The second visit was to the drive thru where again the staff could not get my order straight. The staff are friendly and efficient. Wait times are very acceptable and they offer tvs for viewing while you wait (playing some looped version of California Mountain Dew X games).
