This week we went for a late lunch on a Wednesday, maybe 1:30, and it was SLOW. Slow as we were the only ones there for a while, and slow to have our waiter come to our table. It was slow the whole time we were there. No Express today. I had the daily special, Popeye Chicken, which was sort of like the typical ACP but with spinach and mushrooms. Overall the only flavor I detected was mushrooms. Otherwise the whole thing was bland. The cheese sauce was bland, the rice was bland, the beans were bland. They served this with flour tortillas so I made a little sandwich that tasted like a tortilla. Megan had some steak tacos that she liked ok but agreed that they were bland.
