We were staying in an RV at a hotel next to Taco Bell in Cloverdale. I asked the front desk about hours and they said Taco Bell closed at 2, so I knew we had plenty of time. I placed my order online and went to pick it up. The dining room was closed, so I waited until no one was in the drive up and inquired about my order. I was told I could not have my food because I wasn't in a car (My RV would not fit thru the drive up.) I asked if they could take it to the door- but they refused. About that time, a family pulled up and offered to get my food for me, but they still refused to fulfill my order. There was nowhere else around that was open- so I had no opportunity to get food and my blood sugar was crashing. Not to mention, I had already spent $35 on my pending online order! I noticed they shut their lights off around 1:40, so I walked back over to see if I could get it since no one else was in line, but again, they refused to offer me anything. I understand that it's dangerous to have people walking thru the drive up, but there were other options- like bringing it out to me or passing it through when no one was there. I was in tears as I left and completely frustrated by the lack of human compassion. I reported this to Taco Bell and was sent back a canned "thanks for writing" email with nothing more. read more

Stopped on our way through Indiana. We were greeted with "we are out of beans, don't order DrPepper or Baha Blast we are out of those too. We ordered burrito supreme knowing there would be no beans, but we didn't get much meat either. Basically a flour tortilla with lettuce, cheese and sour cream. Store was filthy and the best part was all the employees and possibly friends hanging outside smoking. This store needs a new owner or manager. I wouldn't recommend stopping at this store. read more

Cloverdale, Indiana Taco Bell, 7pm ET 8/11/23 We visited the drive-thru and ordered two Quesadillas and two Nacho Cheese Chalupas. Upon receiving our order, we noticed the Quesadillas were not properly cooked, felt cold, and weren't cut. Additionally, the Chalupas were missing cheese. I decided to enter the store to address these issues. It took a few minutes before I was acknowledged by the staff. While waiting, I observed some employees not adhering to the best food handling practices, handling food with their bare hands, and the kitchen was filthy. Additionally, a few were engaged in non-work activities in the back room, playing video games (with a video game controller - this is the same person who handled food with his bare hands). Rap music was blaring in the kitchen. One employee was vaping in the kitchen area. When I asked for details about the franchisee, I was given falsified information. Given our concerns, we decided not to consume the food, and threw it all away. I plan to address this matter further by lodging a complaint with both the Putnam County and Indiana Department of Health offices on Monday morning 8/14/23. I will provide smartphone video. Moreover, I'll be reaching out to Yum Brands with a detailed letter, which I'll be sending via Certified Mail on 8/14/23. I stopped here during a roadtrip headed west on I-70. It was late so I knew most things would be closed except for TACO BELL! When I got to the order spot in the drive -thru I asked what they had that was closest to a taco salad. At first the worker said, "Nothing." We talked it out. Then she said that they could essentially take their Nachos Bell Grande and make it into a salad--that they'd make it work. I also got a Crunchwrap Supreme. When I rolled around to the pay window, there were 3 workers there who were so excited to have created something "newish" and to have made a customer really happy. I'll start with the fact I had to ask for part of my food that wasn't in the bag. Then, I normally order a Mexican Pizza with no meat or beans. That doesn't mean it should be cooked any differently. Mine was missing sauce, it was in 100 pieces and it wasn't warmed (as shown by the unmelted cheese. Essentially I paid $4.19 for a box of chips with shredded cheese. I have stopped at this Taco Bell so many times and I should know better at this point. They are so slow. I left my house extra early on my way to work to get breakfast. Taco Bell is one of the only places I can get breakfast because of food allergies to red meat. I waited for 30+ minutes for breakfast one morning because they weren't ready for me to order at 8 am when they opened. Sorry, if you open at 8 am, be ready to take orders at 8 am. Wow these reviews are quite brutal, but I can tell you I came here 3 times and have had nothing but outstanding service. I've pretty much been coming to this location since I was a kid and it has always had great food and never had any issues at all. Now a days I always get the same thing which is kind of a weird order. Every time I came to this Tbell, the staff always were like: "Oh wow that sounds great!" I always get good quality food and their soda always tastes really fresh too. I'm a huge fan of fountain cherry Pepsi and that also makes me kind of a diva about it. We stopped by here on a road trip. They were Extremely friendly staff, kind to our two small children. we went there around 11:30 and it was very clean and well kept. I would rate this location with no stars if it were possible. Stopped here on our way through town for a quick bite to eat. Went inside and ordered to-go. 15 minutes later... No food. No movement in the "kitchen" (it's not like there's any actual cooking happening here, folks). The dining area is a wreck. The lids/cutlery/straws/condiments are all under stocked and in disarray. The place wasn't busy, so I'm not sure what the hell they were doing, but it wasn't serving food. We waited 24 mins from the time of ordering our food, before we got to the window (after seeing the car in front of us only get a small bag and no drink). Once we got to the window we told them we were out of time and had to go. Not sure what the problem was but we left and headed over to Arby's to order and exit the drive thru with our food in less then 4 minutes. Stopped at the good ole bell with my hubs while we were in town for a basketball game. At nearly 11:00 pm in a small town there were few options, little did we know at one of our favorite fast food options we'd get stellar service and much better than usual goodies - 7 of them to be exact. Our special requests were done correctly, nothing appeared to have been sitting under a heat lamp for the last hour, we were not short changed on toppings (a major pet peeve at our local Noblesville location) and again - SERVICE!! Food items above average in comparison to other TB locations. Service is slow as all get out. 10-15 min @ times. That's with no customers there. I've experienced that during all times of the day. If I see cars in the drive-thru, don't even bother. Upsets me that the location is supposed to be open for breakfast in the a.m. however they are usually closed when driving past every morning @ 7. I was shamed for asking for a vegetarian taco, and by that I was told it would cost $4 dollars if I wanted that, someone finally said they could. Waited a long time in the drive thru, over 5 minutes. Showed a picture from the Taco Bell website of the vegetarian taco that was suggested. They said that they hadn't seen that from the site and despite that no apology or even being given hot sauce.
