The…read moresalsa was tasty best part of the experience, the choriqueso was nothing but bland cheese dip and a whole bunch of chorizo grease. Not good at all. The sausage tasted like burnt beef with chorizo grease to me. The tacos de carne asada were completely flavorless. The meat was browned and it tasted like that's it, not even browned in its own fat. It reminded of eating at your dreaded aunts house who don't even know what salt and pepper is. Then they tossed some onions and cilantro on it and called it a taco. I wasn't a fan, husband said it was tolerable when you added the red salsa they served it with. However the rice and beans again flavorless, so much so my husband didn't finish the side dish and that NEVER happens. For a small town with not much else to offer they had food and it was semi edible. Personally I wouldn't return but husband said he would give it another chance. That's why we are at three stars.
