the Taco Bell in advance NC is absolutely horrible! the manager is a large white woman. she argued with me. I asked for a dragon fruit freeze. she said they didn't have those. I told her the sign indicated they did. she said "there is no way there's a sign that says that ". I told her there was. she continued to argue. I took a picture of the sign and showed it to her. she had nothing to say. I suggested she go back to management school because her customer service was terrible. she even ended the conversation by shutting window in my face. I wish I knew how to get in touch with her supervisor. I have pics of the sign. Also the tacos were obviously sitting there for a while as the lettuce was sparse and wilted with no cheese hardly. I work hard for my money and expect quality and quantity when I spend $20 on a taco meal. Extremely disappointed and angry.

    Parking lot. Bright and clean.

Taco Tuesday! Kids love the Doritos taco cheese and chicken only. The adults love the options in the 5.99 craving box. Seating area was a hot mess but we found a clean table. Sauces, condiments, and drink area were clean and well stocked. We pre- ordered on the app prior to arrival and didn't have to wait long before receiving our piping hot order. There was a switch up on our craving box burritos but we played nice and switched back. Thanks Taco Bell.

Neater more nordic style than other Taco Bells in the area. More inviting. Nice touches as the other area TBs remodel.

Uodated style and seemingly cleaner TACO BELL than the other nearby locations. Seems to be well run and staff are pleasant. Seems good or good enough as a fast food option.. Some of their offerings are healthier than other fast food chains. Quality is consistent.

Service comes first when ordering through a drive thru. I had to repeat my order a few times and then it was still wrong at the window. Asked for a Crunchwrap supreme combo with Baja blast no ice. Food was correct but ice was in drink cup. I hold up drink to have worker correct it and she gives me the meanest stare. Im not a pushover so I continued to wait for her to redo it... I get home and she gave me diet Baja blast. There's no need for an attitude if done correctly to begin with. I used to frequent this Taco Bell because of the service and fast pace the drive thru offered. It has gone downhill lately.

    A disgrace.

Why have the past two months of my Taco Bell orders and burritos especially have been RUINED. Only due to the fact that alll chips are stail or whatever tortillas. Hard shell tacos your crunching up. Are. STAIL. YALL BETTER GO TELL TRINA INNA BACK she better get yall some new chip before I call Taco Bell headquarters bc this is unacceptable yk youn eat them stail burritos. Ts just wrong man. Just dead dirty wronggggggbe safe tho. Have a blessed day

Seriously???? RUDE service, and barely any meat in my tacos. Do better.

Service was god awful. Rude employees, and BARELY any meat in the tacos. Get it together.

It's Taco Bell, but since its new now after the old one burned down, it is definitely cleaner and one of the tastier joints in the chain.

Tuesday Taco Night Perfection!…read more Tacos and Beer Paola in Lexington is such a gem. This unique spot sits next to its sister location--an older Stop & Go that's packed with Mexican boots, treats, sodas, and food goods--which already sets the vibe before you even walk in. We stopped in for Tuesday taco night and were immediately impressed. Chips and salsa came out with two fantastic salsas, both full of flavor. There's also a Pepsi cooler stocked with Mexican sodas and beers, which was a fun and authentic touch. The staff was beyond friendly--welcoming, patient, and genuinely happy to have us there. Now the tacos... wow. Finger-licking good. I devoured three tacos: brisket, steak, sausage, and cow head--every single one was incredible. The cheese dip was smooth, rich, and absolutely wonderful. My husband loved his chicken and steak tacos as well. If I had to give one tip: do not skip the roasted jalapeños. Trust me. We'll definitely be back soon--and next time, we're bringing the kiddos.

They also have to-go available, which we have done as well. Highly recommend.

I drove the 20 minutes here to try the food after reading a number of glowing reviews - 4.6 Yelp…read morerating over 77 reviews! It is a small place with less than a dozens tables, and a fairly broad menu. It has been operating for about 10 years now. I was particularly interested in the California Burrito with Steak and the tacos with shredded beef, the Birria tacos, the Guadalajara Dog, and the street corn. We tried them all! The California Burrito is an interesting version - filled with pickled jalapeños, lettuce, tomato, cilantro, onion, avocado, Mexican cheese, sour cream, your choice of protein, and topped with Chili Con Queso once filled. The menu description does not mention FFs which is very much traditional. In fact, the replacement of rice and beans with crispy FFs was what made the California Burrito unique! This is a large burrito, shorter and thicker than the vast majority you'll see. The filling I chose was carne asada and the burrito was topped with what the menu termed "chili con queso". The result was a different looking burrito, but an excellent burrito - and no, I couldn't finish it. The Birria Tacos are only available of Fridays. You get four tacos, sliced radish, Lime wedges, and the house red and green hot sauces. These tacos were well filled with meat and cheese, but there was no consommé, which is very traditional, also no chopped white onion or cilantro - disappointing, would not order again! The street tacos with shredded beef were good, not great - well filled, and well topped with chopped white onion and cilantro. I went all the way which added lettuce, tomato, and Mexican white crumbling cheese, either cotija or queso fresco. Frankly I did not find that the all the way approach worked for me! 3 tacos were $8.99, and all the way added $1.99. These are a bit pricey, most Tex-Mex spots in Winston serve up 4 for just under $13! I wanted to try the Guadalajara Dog more out of curiosity than anything else - I have been in Guadalajara a number of times and experienced some interesting food items, such as Birria (the stew), Pozole, Carne En Su Jugo, BBQ Young Goat, and the Guadalajara Hot Dog ( a wildly popular street food)! The weiner is wrapped in bacon and then deep fried, causing the skin to develop rips. Once in the bun, it is sauced and topped with fresh avocado, chopped onion, ancestry you can add more. This was a good version, but not an item I order often. The street corn consisted of corn kernels, cheese, hot sauce, lime, and a Mayo based sauce. This is a busy item, and I found I prefer the simpler, customary corn on the cob with crumpled cheese. This is an interesting place, one that has a different take on Tax-Mex dishes. Those takes and moves away from tradition are not something for me.

Sometimes I'm in the mood for tacos. Last week I figured I'd give them a try & so glad I did! It's always a plus to see a high sanitation rating! The ambiance is festive & clean, even around the soda machines. The counter service was great. The team member was knowledgeable, helpful & patient. I mentioned that I was a first-timer. There's a large selection of great toppings to choose from. Fulfillment is quick & the staff is pleasant at handoff. The food is always nicely packaged & travels well - it's also good to ask what does. My tacos were filled with veggies that came with a free side, along with chips & salsa! My to-go box was topped off with some of the best light & crispy chips - even better when salted & warm (I found the salt factor to be hit or miss on orders). Side note, while some competitors give you a dab of queso, Taco Mama doesn't skimp. I've eating here several times before posting, and it's consistent. Hopefully, they'll continue to keep up the quality food & service. Oh, I should point out that my bill only included the meal & tax. You don't have to worry about the dreaded, dare I say illegal, cc service charge that some establishments are passing onto their customers.

Instead of searching for another restaurant, we decided to give it a try. Everything on the menu sounded good. They offer unlimited free toppings so you can literally pile on as much as you want. We both ordered the Taco Basket which comes with two tacos and you can mix and match. I chose The Sizzler and The Mayor with roasted corn and black bean toppings. My husband chose The Sizzler and Cheezy Beef. Our food came out fairly quickly but we soon realized why. Everything on our tacos was cold and the meats were only lukewarm. I'm guessing they precook everything and don't keep it heated. The roasted corn tasted like it had just come out of the fridge. The meats were nicely seasoned but that was about it. They were supposed to be topped with sauces but we couldn't really taste any. The soft shells were also too soft and soggy. I couldn't even hold my tacos without them falling apart so I had to eat them with a fork. I ordered the Blood Orange Margarita but it was very sour. I could only finish about half of it. The line kept getting longer while we were eating so they're clearly popular. Still, I felt like there's room for improvement.

This time in I wanted to try another of my favorite Mexican dishes - Carnitas. I also decided to try an Al Pastor Huarache. Just as before, my order was out quickly and I was on my way. I started with the Huarache - basically a thick flatbread loaded with beans, Al Pastor (my meat choice), avocado, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and sour cream. Served with both a verde and a roja salaThis was an excellent item, as good as any I've had in the area. I saved most to be shared and finished later, not an easy decision. The Carnitas was another excellent item. The pork chunks here are as large as any I'd run across, but they are tender with some outside crust because they are slow simmered in lard - remember when lard was bad for us? The carnitas come with rice, beans, a bit of white onion, and a simple lettuce and tomato salad, and tortillas. This was a great meal - the carnitas were tender, I put some of the pork chunks in tortillas, added some onion, a squeeze of lime and rotated the salsa. On most Mexican salads, simple or otherwise, I squeeze a good amount of lime juice and a healthy amount of salt - this type of "dressing" goes well with most entrees. I do recommend this little place, the owner is good people, and the food is top notch!
