They also have a side mixed green salad that is served with avocado ranch that is always spot on. I will say the customer service is excellent. Always refilling drinks and asking if the order is correct and assisting in any way. The crowds are hit and miss but there seem to be people in and out. The restaurant is clean and unique. Close second are 4 Locos Tacos and Mextizo in third. I had two pollo and two pastor with cilantro, onions, tomato and cheese on each. Outstanding. The conclusion here is that the tortilla and preparation itself is the winner for Greer Taco, and it is a corn tortilla. It just occurred to me that the other two placeholders in this quest actually ask if I prefer corn or flour and I alway...always...always get the corn tortilla. So, it really did not hit me until this review that at GT, this is a given. They are well cooked, but not falling apart and not a hint of dryness that may be found in other corn tortillas. This is not a fancy place, it is in the flea market, for crying out loud, but that is a great place for it to be, and business is good. Quesadilla, tamale and burrito are other options, but go with the tacos. Footnote: I am not including any "fancy tacos" in this quest, so you will not see any bang bang taco or kimchi taco or such that other places may have because that is a different quest of a different thing (looking at you Willie Taco, White Duck Taco and Tipsy Taco).

Today, all of the flour tortillas for each of the three meals was missing. The guacamole was missing on two of the side salads and sour cream was missing on the third. They pack the bag so tight and tie it up so checking it in the parking lot makes a mess. Someone is not checking the orders before they leave because this is happening way too often. I can no longer give them a higher rating because they're consistently doing worse.

The restaurant week deal had a variety of options, and I chose the queso, two tacos, and cinnamon duros. My companion ordered choripollo from the standard menu. Compared to similar restaurants in the area, I did find Arroyo to be more filling! My tacos were delicious and did not skimp on toppings. My least favorite item was the cinnamon duro, it just tasted like the cinnamon twists from Taco Bell, which I am not fond of. For my main, I got the quesadilla main dish, which comes with choice of protein and choice of rice/beans or mexican salad. I opted for mushrooms and poblanos on the quesadilla, which was good but blander than I anticipated. I was left wishing I'd opted for the chorizo. For the side, I got the rice and beans which were excellent. They came piping hot and served in their own little crock, which kept them nice and warm throughout the meal. The service was kind and the dining room was clean and comfortable. All in all, a great first experience here! Get to it!
