They routinely just do not have orders ready- even if ordered ahead and rudely rush you to pull around front and park while you wait for your order. I don't know if this is a corporate timing scheme or wtf is going on at this store. read more

My first time to visit this location. I ordered a chicken gordita at the drive-through. Arrived home and opened the sandwich wrapping. There was almost no chicken in the gordita and I had paid for an upgrade to go for from ground meat to chicken. What a rip off! Do not visit this location. read more

Of all the Taco Bell's in the world this place has the absolute worst service. It is really unbelievable. They're slow and 90% of the time the order is wrong. At this point if I go I expect them to screw it up. read more

drive thru lady was super rude, wouldn't speak when we asked questions and wouldn't let us have multiple orders, even though it's never been an issue before. rolled her eyes when we asked for a receipt and put every single mild sauce possible in the bag, the workers were all arguing about different stuff every time the window was open and we could hear them yelling and cussing at each other. we also were missing multiple items from our order, and they were mad when we went back to claim our missing items. hope this store can control their staff in the future such a shame read more

Everything went well... I actually stumbled onto this Taco Bell, 48 Knox Way, Chapel Hill, NC 27516. And, was not disappointed. The staff was very professional, courteous and polite. It was late and the restaurant was busy inside and outside. I was not disappointed with my order. Everything was prepared correctly. I was pleased with the service and the food that I have been back several times. I found the restaurant to be clean even late nights around 10-11pm. On my last visit I was pleasantly greeted by Aaron. He remembered my order, 3 hard shell taco supremes and my name. It's little things like that that keep your customers feel appreciated and coming back. I was pleased to see the same young men on every visit. I'm sorry I didn't get the names of the other employees, but I will ask next time... so I can give them the acknowledgement they all deserve. It's nice to see young people dedicated to their job and customers. Keep up the GREAT JOB Guys... read more

Would not recommend this Taco Bell. Really disappointed They can't do the one job they're hired to do read more

I wish I could give this location zero stars. Went to drive through, ordered 3 crunchy chicken tacos but without lettuce and tomato. I had to repeat the order 3 or 4 times. Got to the window and was charged $4 extra for a custom order. The receipt said beef tacos. I asked why they weren't chicken. The person that supposedly made them told me they were chicken because she had just made them special. When I got home, they were beef with lettuce and tomato. I just paid over $11 dollars for 3 tacos I didn't order. Stay the heck away from this scam joint. read more

Service is terrible I waited 25 mins for an order and never got it. Lack of communication as well and bad attitudes. Ridiculous.

BEWARE! SCAM STORE. Go anywhere but here. Over a week ago, I placed an online order to this location. When I showed up, there was a sign on the drive-through that said it was not working and to go inside for orders. Okay. I walk to the door but it's locked. An employee walks outside and tells me he's reopening the drive-through. Okay. I get back into the drive-through and wait several minutes. Nothing. Finally, the employee comes back outside and tells me they are no longer taking orders. When I told them I had placed an online order, the employee shrugged it off and said there was nothing he could do. Despite multiple attempts to get a refund, nobody from Taco Bell has yet acknowledged this poor practice. This store had no problem taking my $35 But they did not provide any food. I still have not received a refund. (Yes, $35 at Taco Bell, don't judge) Don't go here. Not even if they bring back nacho fries. I would leave a photo with my review but I DIDN'T RECEIVE ANYTHING TO TAKE A PICTURE OF!!! read more

Food luke warm...cash only? Not recommended . Employees sitting in cars in parking lot. First time I had been there in a year or two... won't be back.. read more

I wasn't even being rude, ugly or nasty just because I understand the circumstances of working in food. I simply asked for a chipotle chicken grilled. They gave me an uncooked raw chalupa stuffed with a huge amount of chipotle sauce, I mean to the point it was running out of the uncooked chalupa (all corners). I asked for a refund and it seemed to be hostility towards me when I asked for it too, they replied "for future reference we do not allow refunds". Absolutely wrong. I ran so quickly back to the store to return I didn't get a chance to snap a picture. I was in distraught. read more

Yeah this Taco Bell is awful. I placed an online order one evening at 7:45PM and it online they closed at 9PM which is not correct because I have been here a couple of times before and sometimes they are open and sometimes they are not. Anyways, I show up and there are 3 or 4 workers sitting on the curb outside of the store and I pull up to the speaker and there was no response. I pull up to the window and it's open and I yell hello and no response. I wait a couple of minutes and pull around and everyone is gone. So no food for me or no refund/response from Taco Bell corporation. Avoid this TB! read more

if i could rate this taco bell a 0 i would. i ordered for doordash and was missing 3/6 items. they forgot a 12 pack of cinnabons, how do you forget that? the things they didn't forget were stale, lacked of certain ingredients and too much of another. it was messy and i took that as laziness from the workers. they were rude when i called and one acted like they couldn't hear me. won't even give a refund, don't order from this place you'll just get angry! read more

Never go to this location. If I could give zero stars I would. I order tonight at 8:25, they don't close until 9. They waited 30 minutes to tell me they didn't have the ingredients to make ANY of the food on my order. Really? Not a single item? They are lazy, take your money and waste your time. If you're not going to do your job, you don't deserve your paycheck. Whoever the manager was tonight deserves to be fired on the spot. read more

Very disappointed in this taco bell. Was in line at the drive thru for 20 minutes. Cars circled the building. Got up to the order board and they told us the customer before us would be the last customer order taken. I said that that wasn't right to do since we had waited so long. I said they should have been out and told the cars which one would be last before we waited so long and they would stop taking orders. The young teenager just laughed. What a reaction. Very disappointed in the level of customer service and sad reaction by the business. Avoid them when you see a long line of cars as likely you will not be served. read more

Never coming back here again, 3rd time in a row from the past 2 months I've gone here that the drive through hasn't been able to take my order for either their "system being down" or them only being able to accept mobile food orders. amazing service. this king was so good at his job!!!! love you my boy he gave me a free taco but didn't tell me his name !! this man was doin it all, he made the food, the drinks, and he even created a fun experience because he kept laughing. this man deserves a raise to taco bell king. 5/5 would eat again. read more

Extremely rude service members, whenever there is actually a service member available. Advertise items they no longer carry, even though it is on their displayed menu! Poor, completely useless management! I would recommend driving past this location and buying food at a gas station before stopping here. Urinal water is probably safer than anything served here! read more

it seems like this location does their own thing. Reason I say that is because they make their own store hours without notice. They forget to change what you asked for to the regular item on the menu. Customer service is just sad but what can you expect. read more

The people at this taco bell were extremely nice :) We had a mistake with our order and they fixed it very professionally and gave us an extra order of the cinnamon twist things as an apology. Overall very nice and quick service and well deserving of 5 stars! read more

I and my family have gone to this Taco Bell multiple times and we usually go through the drive thru. We have always gotten great service and the workers have always been very friendly. I usually ask for a lot of extra sauce and the workers hook me up. So far my wait time hasn't been too long so in my book that's good. read more

Absolute worst Taco Bell I've ever been to, wait time is consistently around half an hour and it's a hit or miss as to whether you get the right food. They often close long before their listed hours so you can never really be certain of whether or not they're going to be open before you go. Once I asked for a baja blast and they told me they were out of baja blast but when I pulled up to the window I saw them making a baja blast for another order. read more

Worst location ever. Rude employees. Wrong orders given every time. Not even surprised at this point. Would call corporate but unfortunately nothing would be done about it. I mean if you don't wanna do your job don't work there. Simple as that. This location needs to get it together. Or somebody needs to come handle these rude young ass teenagers working here before they say something else slick to the wrong person. read more

So I stoped here to get a power bowl they rang me up and when I got to the window they said they don't have rice I asked for the manager and they said they can't do a discount on the food and I asked so we are paying the full price on the food but not getting what we asked for he said yes and left and I'm going to call corporate on them read more

They do not follow the hours posted on their website. Placed a mobile order and they were closed at 8pm when I arrived to pick it up.

Very poor service and food. Evidently they are having problems with staffing. When pulling up to the drive through they told me "mobile orders only" and this was at 4:30 PM. So I ordered via the web. The atomic salad I received had no cheese as advertised , just a lot of partially wilted lettuce and rice. Very little chicken. Too bad, they used to be good! read more

We've only been to this Taco Bell twice and both times were negative. First time they missed items which is not a huge deal but disappointing. Second time, we ordered on the app for drive thru pick up like we always do. We pulled up to the drive through and there was a sign saying the drive through wasn't working and to go inside to order. Ok. We walk up and the doors are locked even though there's customers inside. An employee was making motions towards the back of the building so we thought he was pointing to the other set of doors, when we got to the second set of doors the employee told us the drive thru was working and to order through there. So we get back in the car and sit in front of the speaker waiting. Nothing. Eventually the same employee came out and told us they're only finishing orders for people inside the store. I asked "what about the prepaid mobile orders?" Because at that point it was too late to cancel our order. The employee shrugged and said "the GM will be here tomorrow so you can come back". 20 minutes later I got a notification saying our order was ready. Really disappointing and definitely won't be coming back to this Taco Bell location. Hopefully I can at least get a refund since they charged my card and never gave us food. Plus it's kinda gross that the employee had long hair that wasn't tied back or anything. read more

I've been to this location multiple times expecting something different which is my fault. The dine-in service speed is unbearable. It takes on average 5-10 minutes to get an order. And that's for a one-person order. Go to McDonalds a quarter mile up the street, they are way better in all regards. read more

I recommend hiring a staff that actually wants to come to work because being short staff around lunch time is unacceptable! I went here today on my lunch and waited literally 20-30 mins on a taco meal. As I entered I was told to use the kiosk to place my order...I did that...as I continued to wait patiently, understanding that the team was short, my service was continuously pushed behind the drive thru line as they kept taking orders from there. Finally one of the workers brought to my attention that my order didn't go through to there side to begin making my order because I didn't pay with card at the kiosk. I chose the cash option at the register. Therefore if I was to have paid for the meal when she finally came to serve me, I would've been waiting even longer for my food. I was very disturbed by the lack of service I received even after I let them know there was no way I was going to wait any longer for tacos that I've already waited long enough for. There was no sympathetic apology or offer for my time wasted and I work near by with Taco Bell being a close, go to spot for me but after today, I'll just have to choose something else. Very disappointed. read more

This taco bell has poor service. I spent a solid 30 min of my 45 min lunch break sitting inside waiting for two tacos to be made. While I was waiting I got quite parched so I slipped my mask down to take a sip, and proceeded to be yelled at by an employee. This is uncalled for. Will never return to this establishment again. read more
