This is NOT a fast food place. From the time I ordered to the time I was actually in the window for pick up is OVER 10 minutes!!!! There were only TWO cars in front of me. I wasn't a weird hour. It was 3:45pm........ absolutely insane!!!!!! So better. Provide a pull forward area. Do something..... and now, after giving myself 25 extra minutes. I'm late for work. let me start off with this, I am a true Taco Bell fan. I have give probably thousands to this place. specifically the one on Plank Rd. I love Taco Bell. I have made friends with the employees there. they have been so kind until tonight 2/11 11:23pm ish. I got my order and the churros were forgotten. no problem went back around. I said hey my churros were not in the bag. the blond curly hair employee said "it's in the middle squished, I packed the bag myself" I said it's definitely not in here. she had me pull around. now I know from experience they make everything at this time of night when you pull up to the window, everything is fresh. no from the time it took me to pull to the window I know she did not have time to put these in the fryer and hand them to me as soon as I pulled up. which is what happened they were in my had as soon as I pulled up. I didn't get a "sorry for the inconvenience " or a "sorry I could of sworn I put them in" I got a here ya go and move on. now I know this is fast food and all but a basic "I'm sorry" would suffice. read more

Every so often I go to a Taco Bell and have a bad experience. It really doesn't sway my liking of them either way and I always end up back there. This location was a mess on the day that we arrived. When we went in a couple things were apparent. There was no one working the counter, it looked like it was deserted. If it wasn't for the customers in there eating, we probably would have kept on moving. The other was that it felt like you were imposing for being a customer. Because of the lack of employees consistently at the counter (and I mean you could tell on their face that they didn't want to be working the counter, and we were interrupting them). I decided to use the touch screen to order my meal. Great, I thought that meant I would get my food faster. Wrong. When you order a meal you usually get your glass so you can fill it up before you get your food. I never got my cup, nor did the people that used the other touch screen at the same time as me. When my meal was ready, I had to wait at the counter because after my name was called and I started to approach, the employee ran to the back. I had to stand there for a few minutes before I got a "what do you need?" from an employee. "A cup" is all I said, and I got that look of imposing again. As for the food. It was put together a little too fast and things were lopsided. All I wanted was the Mexican pizza and it came out looking more like a taco salad. I didn't even finish it. But the soft tacos I added on fill the void of the haphazard Mexican pizza. read more

After a day on the lake, a quick stop for fast food. Long line at the drive thru, take out only, normal Taco Bell order. Tacos, burrito, combo. Wow. This place was really good! The food was actually great - well done! (The last Taco Bell I reviewed in Pgh was pretty bad. Soured me on the franchise for a few years. This one my kid called into play.) Pleasant folks on the order mic and at delivery. Food being handed over a la Covid19...bag in a big Tupperware thingamabob...okay. Mutual eyeroll...funny! As far as DoorDash service this is a no go. They said they are taking orders up until 10:30 pm. So I placed my order a little after 10 pm. Check my order says it's being prepared. Okay. Then I watch as for the next hour two dashers tried to pick up my food and we're unable to. Then they closed and then cancelled my order. If you can't offer a service then don't because you are wasting these dashers time and your customers time as they could have ordered food elsewhere. read more

This is one of the better Taco Bell establishments around. They just remodeled and have a fancy new drive thru situation. It's clean. It's not in a scary neighborhood. It's not combined with a Kentucky Fried Chicken or Pizza Hut or any other abomination. The staff is about as enthusiastic as anyone would be working at a Taco Bell. If you're super charming, you might get a smile. And sometimes, they'll divvy out some well-deserved sass. It's Taco Bell and it is delicious. (This is basically Nathan L.'s review with more words. Its scary yet attractive right down the middle. Its not bad its priced well below average it tastes better after a few road sodas. The sauce is good. Its a staple. not a reservation but a deviation. The cashier, basically, tossed the drinks at me and gave me my food without saying one word. She was EXTREMELY rude! She slammed the window after handing me the bag, and I wasn't even sure if my whole order was in there. She seemed to be pregnant, so I didn't think anything of here anger until she slammed the window in my face. Having worked in the customer service industry since a teenager, I recommend you have someone working the window who will at least acknowledge the customer! I WILL not go to this location again, nor will I recommend it to friends and family. I absolutely love Taco Bell (who doesn't?). I order a lot, but I always order really late at night, between 10pm and 1am. So this review is mainly based on their nighttime service, even though whenever I do order during day time hours, everything is great and tasty!! The last few times I went I got soft tacos with hard outer edges and cold meat. It tastes really gross too, not even near the usual deliciousness of their tacos usually are. My quesadilla was hard too and didn't have much filling (not sure if the crew can control the filling in them or if they just come like that). For $3.-something for a little quesadilla, I would've expected it to be a little better than what I got. My food was disastrously cold too. Besides the food though, the staff who took my order was still very friendly and quick. They looked tired, but still put in effort in hospitality. :) I always get good attitudes and positive hospitality from the team that works here. So the only thing I had an issue about was the food not being...fresh? I think? Maybe it was because of how late I ordered? I don't know. ;( It also sucks that this is the only Taco Bell we have in our area! I wish they'd add just one more somewhere. Since obviously they don't deliver, driving all the way to this store when I want this for dinner really sucks. It's basically good for a quick stop if your around the store shopping at the surrounding stores and need to stop for a bite to eat. read more

What time is it? Doesn't matter. Taco Bell seems to be open and this place is sweeet! It reminds me of a period when I was about 10 or 11 years old. We'd skip school, climb the barbwire fence, walk across the racetrack's highway, through both parking lots, and to the Taco Bell in our mall's food court. We got Double Decker Tacos back then because Shaq liked it crunchy and Hakeem preferred it soft, until Spike came along--introducing not only the Double Decker, but the Double Decker smothered in nacho cheese sauce. 21 years later--still kickin', but in a new joint: Altoona Taco Bell, but this time with Gordita Chalupas. I don't even care what's in a Gordita Chalupa. I just know it's exactly what they advertise: greatness. This Taco Bell brings back memories, in fact, it's safe to say I'll be spending my whole life with Taco Bell--might even get Taco Bell engraved on my tombstone--that is, if I don't live to infinity because Taco Bell is so awesome. I really enjoy Taco bell and I have enjoyed the come back of the breakfast menu. This location has struggled to satisfy my breakfast craving on multiple occasions. The first time I went they were all out of eggs. Last weekend I decided to try again. This time they asked what I wanted, I replied with the three items I wanted only to be informed that they only had one piece of sausage left. I asked how long the wait would be the response was unforgettable. 30 minutes. . . I have never worked fast food before so I do not understand all of the insurance and outs of food prep. It just seemed like an awful long time to cook frozen sausage. So I asked if it really took 30 minutes to cook sausage. The lady kind of stammered and muttered something about procedures and the process by which they cook their sausage. Needless to say, that is the second time I have left the breakfast line due to the lack of prepared main ingredients. On the flip side, I have had multiple great experiences later in the evening and they have always had helpful customer service. read more

Do not dine in. You can't tell which table had a diapered behind on it last. I watched, and took photos, of a young couple who let their toddler, dressed in diaper and dress, no shorts or plastic pants even to cover the diaper, sit on TOP of the table for the duration of their meal. Grossly unsanitary as well as dangerous for the child. None of the employees seemed to mind. read more
