    Cheese Quesadilla

Decided to go to this location after work. Worst decision I could have possibly made. Ordered a veggie pizza, I opened the box to a smashed pizza and the cheese stuck to the top of the box. I also got a chicken quesadilla. Turned out they didn't have chicken so I asked for a cheese quesadilla. Somehow got beef on my quesadilla? Doesn't make sense at all. Poorly done job

This is no joke. Leave and do not order your food here it's a trap and they take 30+ minutes with or without a line.

Small interior with some seating, but I got my burrito to go. Staff was friendly and my food was ready within 15 minutes of ordering. The tortilla was so greasy. Costco pizza x10. Seriously; I had to use some napkins on the tortilla because it was just soaked in grease. Not great. I got the steak. It was very good. Tender; no chewy bites and pretty good flavor. Good portions throughout the burrito. That was the highlight along with the guac. A chunky guac done well. It was fresh and just what I was looking for. Unfortunately, half my burrito was lacking in sour cream and cheese to the point I thought they forgot about it. The second half had better portions of those items, but more cheese would've benefited this. Finally, the fries were a joke. No seasoning and no crunch provided for a very unmemorable bite. A shame. Perhaps this was an off day. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing. It was fine, but nowhere near what I was expecting. I might try this again, but need some time before I do that. Very good steak and guac. Everything else was lacking.

The restaurant itself has a relatively small foot print where the tables are close together and where there are no frills about this place and definately a tad on the rustic side. Facility aside, this place makes some excellent authentic Mexican street tacos where my El Pastor and Asada taco's were well made, PACKED with meat (no scrimping here) and oh so tasty. Service is quite quick where once seated you get your food within a few minutes making this an excellent spot if you are on the run and looking for a good meal on the quick. Prices are cheap in my opinion where my three taco's and a coke came to just $12. NICE! Two things to note here is that the chips and salsa are not gratis but come at an extra cost and follow up once you get food was non existent in my case. Chips and salsa was not a big deal to me but lack of follow up prevented this business from getting a fifth star. Overall and my minor gripes aside, if you are fan of really good Mexican street taco's than this is a must visit if you are in the area! I wish this business was closer to my home in West Bloomfield as I would be a regular here for sure!

I got the chicken tacos and 8oz side of rice and beans. Their menu read confusing, as they didn't have prices on the different meats, and tacos ranged from $2.99-$3.99 so I wasn't even sure how much my tacos would come to. I also thought it was 8oz combined of rice & beans for like $2.99 but I believe it rang up as individual 8oz containers. My total for the plate (3 tacos) & sides came to ~$16 without a tip or drink. The chicken tacos were SO bland. I tried adding more lime, the grilled onions, radishes, both the red and green salsas, and even rice and beans but nothing could rescue the flat flavor of nothingness every time I bit into my tacos. My red salsa that came with my plate was genuinely lame, it had hints of Tabasco sauce? Like they were trying to make it so spicy without any actual depth or flavor. I expected more from this place. I did try my friends steak from his taco and it was a bit more flavorful, so perhaps I got the wrong meat. Their employees were very nice and service wasn't too long, restaurant clean but limited seating! I would only return here to try the California burrito. I can find similar prices and great quality elsewhere.

All I can say is keep them pouring. The Cowboy Burrito is pretty darn good and enough to share. Micala (spell check) our waitress the last time is pretty good too. We are idiots who want to spend out hard earned money on substandard service and food. If you want to TLDR: Go to Taco Bell. Starters: Chips and a salsa flight kinda thing. There was Pico. I didn't try, my son did and said it tasted like vinegar. There was a cheese sauce kinda dip thing. The cheese skin was already formed when it reached our table. The cheese sauce thing was alright. If I never have it again, I won't miss it. Then there was the guac. To the staff making the guac, don't use the avocado when it turns brown. That's not good, not appetizing. I found some none brown, and it was over powered by the cilantro. So, I guess when you cannot make guac, bury the taste in cilantro. Bottom-line on this: Avoid it. Save the cash. Dinner: Barbacoa street tacos. My son ordered these. Three of them. With a massive side of meh refried beans and a mound of dry "Mexican" rice. One bite was enough, he did not finish. Enchiladas: My wife ordered cheese enchiladas, and they showed up with the mountain of dry rice, and bland refried beans. She ate half of one, said they tasted funny. Dipped chips in the beans and ate that. She said she regretted coming to the restaurant. Not just the enchiladas. Chimichanga: Same rice. Same beans. Daughter said that she'd rather have Taco Bell. The majority of the meal was left untouched. Tacos Pastor: Same rice. Same beans. Bland. How do you make bland Pastor?! I ate them as I was hungry by this point, but something seemed off. Like they were phoned in. And...today at Sams Club, I found: Pastor Taco filling in the re-heat section of the Club. The shape of the cut? The same! In fact, I'd bet that that's what I was served. Reheated (in a microwave) Sam's Club Pastor. Then there's the service. Rude is the first impression, follow by total apathy. There was no one in the restaurant when we arrived, and only one person came in while we were there. The entire staff were buried on their phones. When they had to engage with us -- which was rare -- it was as if we were asking them to roll a boulder up the side of a mountain. They simply didn't want to be inconvenienced. They wanted to be tipped and that's all they cared about. The cost of the meal vs the reality of the meal: $100 for four people, for substandard, bland Mexican food, that could be outdone by a fast food outlet. Add in the apathetic staff, and I cannot stress strongly enough that you should avoid this place. Save your money. If you must have Mexican food in Oxford, there are other places. And all of them are better. This restaurant deserves to go out of business.
