There are a handful of pretty basic options to choose from and a couple of drink options. They get bonus points for serving bottled Jaritos. Service was patient while we ordered and food was delivered pretty quickly. My husband got a burrito, which he did not finish (never a good sign). I got a bacon quesadilla, which seemed like a fairly safe option. It was OK. The bacon was really fatty. But it was hot, filled with cheese and made me not starving. So check. I DO think that if I had been out partying at a bar and needed something to scarf down at like 2 in the morning, Burrito Loco would be PERFECT. And I do think that is probably their busiest time of the day. So in that respect, this pace was totally perfect, don't change a thing. If you want an actually good burrito, though, maybe not...

It smelled amazing and my heart was set on Mexican food from that point so we looked and found Alebrijes. It was right around the corner from the first place we tried so we decided to stop in and see if there was availability. First impression had me worried since there wasn't anyone sitting inside with the exception of a couple tables. It also didn't smell incredible at first like the previous restaurant we had walked into. When we walked in they mentioned they were also booked up but if we wanted to sit at the bar we could. When we took our seats, the staff told us they could sit us at a table if we wouldn't be longer than 2 hours since it was reserved for that time. It was perfect. We ordered some cocktails and an appetizer. That set us up for one of the best dinners we've had in Europe so far. We ordered a margarita and a Tajin cocktail. Both were amazing. The appetizer was quasadillas and taquitos with the most amazing tomatillo salsa I've ever had. It was so good. Dinner was pollo tostadas and poblano enchiladas. Both were incredible but the enchiladas were like nothing I've ever had. The flavor was so unique and different. I'll be dreaming about them for a while. The only downside to the whole meal were the churros for dessert. They were called churros but they weren't made with traditional choux pastry. They were tortillas filled with dulce de leche then rolled and fried. Good but not a typical churro. Overall, this was such an amazing meal. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The second time I made a reservation and staff were a bit rude about making the reservation. To be honest staff always felt a bit annoyed at us for visiting. We tried our best to speak Czech and be polite, but staff felt a bit cold. The atmosphere was impacted by service, but I will say it gets lively in here. The restaurant is not particularly large so it can get loud in a good way. Food seems to be cooked as ordered, so we did wait easily over twenty minutes for dishes to come out. I didn't mind as you could tell dishes were fresh. I have traveled all over Latin America so I have had the best of the best Latin food. Sabroso does a good job with their dishes. The ingredients always felt fresh. The tacos, burrito, soup, and nachos were all really good. I wouldn't call dishes super authentic, but I still think everything tasted pretty darn good. Prices seemed pretty fair for most dishes.

But I guess Czechs like to "fool" people with their ads - we got 2 tacos + 1 free chicken taco. And they LITERALLY split the two tacos in 3 and added an extra tortilla. I mean really? I have never seen such an empty taco ‍ If you are willing to only give 2 tacos for the price of 2 tacos, give me those two and don't sugar coat it with some "almost imaginary" 3rd taco (cause yeah I got that 3rd TORTILLA for free ). I mean who treats their customers like this? Naturally we complained and politely asked if this is really all the chicken we'll get (the tacos we got were literally half empty). But we were told that's how they do it. They put less meat in each individual taco if there's 3 tacos. I am not gonna give up on this place though so I think I will give it a second try because there's not many good Mexican places in Prague. Another thing that was shocking is I drove here basically for the tapitio that I can't find anywhere in Praha, only to find that it was THREE YEARS OLD!! They were selling it for a discounted price.
