Our favorite spot was walking around the Bayou type, waterways and enjoying beautiful serenity of this amazing park. We use the showers and we're quite happy with them and met some very nice people. We would definitely stay here over and over we love the hospitality of the area and the people that run this place. We're amazingly nice.

Five stars for a gas station?…read more Needed to fill up the boat on an early Saturday morning after a run from Kemah. First gas station? Closed. Interesting to speak to the Coast Guard at that station who said that they had to have gas brought to them. Really?? Called around and spoke to Larry at Global Marina. Put the location in the simrad and then cruised through the Louisiana bayous in search of gas. Why the five star review? When we passed the station, Larry actually called us and directed us back. Loved hearing his fish tales. Catching a four and a half pound frog. That's a really big set of frogs legs! Alligators and alligator gar. Huge bass. Redfish. Sad to hear about the hurricanes that continue to pound the Southern Louisiana coastline. Also loved the old time gas meter. Thanks, Larry, for the Louisiana hospitality and stories.

We were traveling from out of state so we needed to book hotel rooms for several nights. Two weeks before the trip I reached out to him to make sure we were still on for the set date. No response. My husband called a few days later. No response. I emailed again. Nothing. Finally the day we were supposed to leave for the hotel I get an email stating he had his first baby and wouldn't make it that weekend!!! You mean to tell me you had no idea your wife was pregnant 6 weeks before I scheduled with you and you couldn't give a heads up she might give birth around that date!? I call BS! You needed an excuse to back out and you came up with that! He didn't even offer to reschedule or give the name of another company. Even more proof he had no intention of making that trip. If he really had a baby, he might want to find another job because the way he runs this company, he won't be able to feed it because he will go out of business. Needless to say we didn't go and were out the deposits for the hotel because it wasn't 48 hour notice. Total ass hat!
