To whom it may concern,
I served six years in active duty Army and am an 80% disabled veteran because of injuries and illnesses I sustained during my service. My older brother who was there is a six year veteran of the National Guard and is a 60% disabled veteran because he literally broke his back during his service an still has extensive issues with it today. My mother who was with us is nearly 60 years old and leads an inactive lifestyle. The other three in my group were my girlfriend; who is a 4 year combat veteran of the Army, my little sister, and my brothers fiancé.
Just to reiterate what occurred:
You as a business owner had a pissed off temper tantrum towards your customers because two disabled veterans and a sixty year old woman didn't finish a 10.5 mile kayak trip when you thought we would, and then you had the audacity to basically demand a tip after your behavior towards us (which my mother actually provided).
The amount of sheer unprofessionalism, disorganization, and ultimately disrespect and attitude we received from your business when things didn't go according to plan is astounding. I have used many different kayak services from Texas to Tennessee and have never been treated with the amount of disrespect that you and your service provided. I have to say i do like the area, but with what we had to deal with from you and your business, I will never recommend your services to anyone.
You demanded a tip, allow me to provide my own:
If you as a business owner expect to keep your customers and increase your clientele, i would highly advise you not disrespect your customers again. I for one will never use or recommend your services to anyone.
Sincerely,
