Now it's not the best because of the upscaleness of the facilities, it's the best because of the diversity and friendliness. The manager of the place described it to me as the ideal Redneck gun club. HAHA, boy was he right. They have a great pavilion with a small kitchen and restrooms available, nice pro shop, several skeet, trap, and 5 Stand stations, and two walking courses as well. They also offer a 100 and 200 yard rifle range and a 70 yard pistol range. What really adds to this is how affordable they make it to be a member. It's a $100 annually to be a member and then another $100 quarterly in fees plus whatever they are charging for the stations you choose to use. I highly recommend that you check them out if you're in the area.

The facility is about 2 years old and is very nice. I also own an indoor range and this place is top notch. They have 2 separate bays that have a total of 13 lanes. One of the bays has the back half with 270 degrees of impact ability making it possible to shoot "tactically" into the walls. They offer all sorts of gunsmithing, training, events, full auto rentals, and retail sales. This place is a hidden gem in Maurice. Is it legal for them to have a gun range? Yes. Should they have this business in a quiet, nature loving neighborhood? Not if they are respectable people. My family's land is in an unincorporated area. They have owned this property for over 50 years. They have raised livestock, children, and grandchildren on this land. I spent many many days running in the pastures and playing in the forest surrounding the beautiful property in solitude. Now it sounds like a war zone. We can't sit on the porch and enjoy a cup of coffee without hearing constant shooting. My mom's dog shakes, terrified and begs to be let inside. It has single handedly RUINED any chances of my family enjoying their remaining years here. It's disgusting what this business has done to my childhood home. The kids don't want to be outside and quiet frankly, it is worrisome to have them running around outside and playing amidst constant gunfire. If you frequent this establishment, just know that you are making the lives of the people who have worked hard for what they have for their entire lives miserable. I hope you will take this into consideration and think about going to another location to practice shooting.
