Great helpful staff, it was quiet and easy to get ammo and targets. Good selection of rental weapons. Good facility.

Went to the store for a loan on a rifle. I knew my weapon, its value, and condition. I walked in…read moreand brought the weapon to the counter. The owner didn't even look at it and told me he'd only give me $5 for the weapon. I was appaled. I told him I knew the value and it was regularly selling for $1,500 and I was only wanting a $50 loan to make it for the next two days. Again he said $5 or I could "get the **** out and go to one of the other three shops on the same street." my jaw dropped and I turned to leave. As I was walking out the owners employee asked him why he didn't want to do a loan on the weapon, he answered "Did you see the guy? I wont deal with a guy with hair like that." Went to the pawn shop across the street from them. They immediately offered me $500 loan.

He pays for it and does the paperwork and is told to pickup monday. He goes to pick it up today and they say come back on Friday. My friend says you told me monday. The owner gets very rude and says monday. My friend then ask for his money back. Once again the owner is rude saying no. Finally the owner says I'll give you your money back less 10%. After a heated argument my friend agrees. The owner gives him his money less 85.00. Then threatens him that atf will be coming to see him. He leaves and gets the same gun from academy for 145.00 cheaper. Then I call jj and explain to him that I have bought guns from him for 20 years. He tells me that he has 30000 repeat customers and that he doesn't give a DAMN about one customer. Oh well I won't be one of those customers again. Thank yall for listening.

David Koenig is one of the rudest managers I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with…read more I came in today for an interview believing it was scheduled for 1:30 PM. It was actually scheduled for 1:00 PM, and I take 100% responsibility for looking at the wrong time. It was an honest mistake, and I have never been late to an interview before. I arrived around 1:20 PM and waited about 15 minutes before I finally had to stop an employee myself to ask for assistance. Eventually, David came over and informed me that my interview had been scheduled for 1:00. I immediately apologized and explained that I had accidentally looked at the wrong time. His response was, "Yeah, we aren't going to do this today," accompanied by a dismissive hand gesture, before simply walking away. I completely understand that being late to an interview can be inconvenient, and I would have understood if he had decided not to proceed with the interview. What I don't understand is the unnecessary disrespect and lack of professionalism in how he handled the situation. There was a much more professional way to communicate that the interview would need to be rescheduled or that they were no longer interested. I already felt terrible about making an honest mistake, and his attitude only made the situation worse. First impressions go both ways. If this is how management treats potential employees during an interview, it makes me question how employees are treated once they're actually hired.
