This trip in early July 2016 was hot. I mean 97° hot. And the wind was 15-25mph. Unnatural hot. Stephen caught few black bass. Mostly non target species. We didn't catch any fish at all. That's not a dig at him, he was relentless in trying. Conditions were terrible. But Stephen is a professional and it showed. Don't hesitate to call him, just don't go when it's a scorcher outside.

No power to the controls or motor. 12 volt power to the accessories and trim tabs. My biggest problem was the motor was down and the trim/tilt wasn't working. We were headed home the next day so I was in a bind. I got to their store around noon and told them my predicament. They started working on the boat immediately. After 2 hours of trying to diagnose an intermittent electrical problem, it turned out the Perko switch was bad internally. New switch and everything worked. And the charge was more than reasonable. Anywhere else it would have been 3 weeks and at least 3 times the cost.

Delivered to Pete Jorgensen Marine and within 30 hrs my lower has been torn down diagnosed and I and insurance company have a repair order. My drive and prop shaft along with some bearings and seals will be getting replaced. The quickness of Pete Jorgensen Marine to do all this in early April, in 30 hrs, the busiest time of the year seems quite exemplary to me. Excellent customer service, I was impressed when I saw the place as its extremely clean and seems very organized. Very nice to know I have an actual Yamaha outboard Master certified tech 30 minutes from home especially considering how much I value my VMAX 250 Yamaha SHO. The fams and I took a…read moretrip to Natchitoches for the 4th of July weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed patronizing this business more than once during our time there. Cane River Lake was perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding and hydro biking. It was so calm. They don't have a computerized system for registering guests nor did they have a separate person making snowballs, so when they were really busy, the line got backed up. I think there are only a couple or a few hydrobikes and I think only a couple mirage oasis boats. On the first day, my husband and daughter rented 2 hydrobikes and went out on the water for an hour. They loved those and had fun. For the last day we were there, my husband and I went out on the mirage oasis (for 2) and my daughter went paddle boarding for the first time. We initially went out for 1-hour, but they were close to shutdown time, so we added another 1/2 hour. Prices range for $15-25 per half to 1-hour. On the last day, it was nice on the river because there was a bit of an overcast, so the sun wasn't beating down on us and it wasn't too hot either. The staff was really nice, too! If you want some yummy snowballs... they have a lot of yummy flavors. When they're busy, they should have a separate line for snowballs and rentals. Overall, my family had a great experience!
