They easily trusted and bonded to me because they had clearly been shown love & caring in their first 8 weeks. It's heartbreaking to see bad reviews as I've actually had experience dealing with puppy mill dogs, fostering them. I also had the misfortune of discovering an old coworker had been backyard breeding with zero knowledge and sadly, some of her litters died from her carelessness. This is NOT that kind of operation. These puppies are very well cared for. I absolutely respect Ginnie's protection of her puppies, keeping outside elements (humans) from vulnerable immune systems is something I preferred. I have had a vet come over and check both pups upon returning home (two years ago and this week), both vets have exclaimed how social and healthy they were/are -- that it was a reflection of a really good upbringing. Your pup has not been riding around in vehicles prior to Ginnie bringing them to you, it would be ridiculous to expect zero carsickness. My first pup got carsick on our first drive, my second didn't. Both pups peed in my carriers on my drives, they're not dirty -- they're puppies. Ginnie definitely is not very technologically advanced and I attribute that to her lifestyle not shadiness. Not getting constant individual updates (although she does update her site every couple weeks with new pictures) nor constant email communication didn't bother me one bit (even as a software programmer). I wholeheartedly recommend Ginnie and her GoldenDoodles. If we get a third, I would absolutely choose Ginnie again.

This was mainly because he had a lot of energy and we were making a lot noise to tire him out so our neighbors were not quite happy about it. Joan helped us relocate the puppy to a new home where the new owners have a house with a backyard which is great for the puppy. Needless to say she fully refunded us, which is what she had in our contract besides a few other important clauses that we came to appreciate at the end. We miss our puppy so much but we are grateful that we worked with Joan who takes a really good care of the puppies and customers. If I could give Joan more that 5 star here I would, but I can't so I took the time to leave this review here.

When I called to make the appointment, I explained that I was nervous about proceeding with vaccinations due to his previous reaction and wanted a detailed discussion to help me prepare. I was assured that we would have a discussion regarding the previous reaction and a plan on how to move forward, but unfortunately, that did not happen. I was given a single sheet listing vaccines and their purposes(that I had to press for), but nothing addressing my specific concerns about adverse reactions or a personalized plan for my dog. I tried asking specific questions regarding the neutering--such as whether he would need a cone after surgery and if he could be around his brother afterward--but instead of receiving basic information, I was simply told, "We will go over that when you come in for the appointment." That was the whole reason I made this appointment in the first place. They let me know they had discharge paperwork. When I asked for discharge paperwork to review in advance, I was told they would provide it later. They mentioned they could build me a packet with all kinds of information, but it wouldn't be ready today- despite me clearly outlining what I needed before the appointment. The actual visit felt rushed and uninformative. My dog was weighed, given a quick visual check, and that was it--yet the cost was $62. My boyfriend's 4-year-old dog had the same experience and was also charged $62 (we brought them together) Additionally, when we asked for their nails to be trimmed, my dog moved slightly after the cut, and we were immediately told he would need to be sedated to finish. This was his first time there, and a little nervousness should have been expected. On top of all of this, our appointments were scheduled for 4 PM. We arrived 15 minutes early to provide records and complete any paperwork, yet we weren't called back until nearly 4:30--only to receive a basic weigh-in and visual check. I was really hoping for a more thorough and informative visit, especially given the specific concerns I expressed in advance. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling unprepared and uncertain about the next steps for my dog's care.

We needed another removal in April and again Rogue Equine was there to help. This is a small organization, nothing big and fancy, but filled with people who really cared for me and my dog. Last appointment with my large dog, the appointment was for 9am, I asked if our dog would be done around 12pm. The reception lady rudely replied, this is a large dog. We have 4 large dogs in the back. Large dogs take time. Maybe the dog will be done around 3. I'm sorry? I made an appointment, it is not my fault or my dog's fault that you overbooked. Received a call shortly after asking about fleas, our dog is on meds from the vet so no fleas. They said they may need to charge more for fleas if they find one. The dog has no fleas. Got a call at 2 to pick the dog up. 5 hours later. When I make an appointment, I should not need to wait for their overbooking issues. 5 hours for the dog to be groomed? Nor be called about fleas the dog does not have and be threatened I'm to be charged more. $150 for a 65 pound dog to be groomed. Since then, I have been to 2 other groomers with the dog just to see the difference in timing and price and neither have been as terrible in timing or pricing. The other locations recognize appointment times and do not take 5 hours. In fact, picked my large dog up after 2 hours. Not 5 2 hours and $80 with tip, at the most with the others. Unfortunately we will not be back here. We do hate to leave the employee here we really liked.

Also I live in the country and I need a mouser. I have had 5 cats, all from kittens, and only the one male disappeared at age 4. I am sure it was because he would go out hunting and he became the hunted. I learned a lesson from that and never got a male kitten again.The 4 females lived out their full lives. I called the Humane Society seeking 2 more female kittens. They refused me any kittens as I live in the county and "they would die". They did offer me barn cats, which I suppose would just automatically take to my barn and "would not die". I do not understand that thinking at all. So it is okay if a barn cat, who they do not know will remain in my barn, is preferred to a kitten who would stay close to my home because I have bonded with it. But in their thinking, the kitten will die. It's okay to give me a barn cat if it dies, but not a kitten. Does this make sense to anyone? I feel they are saying, "sure we will give you a barn cat - who cares if they die. We know for sure that if we give you a kitten it will die." I have had four kittens, and none of them died except from natural causes or a health problem. Since it was near the end of kitten season, I was only able to get 2 kittens that were already 3 months old, from a woman who told me they were from a feral mom. Not knowing what I was getting myself into, I was glad to take them. I tried and tried to bond with them but it seemed hopeless. When I called the Humane Society to ask questions regarding feral kittens the woman I got instructions from was nothing less than a grouch! Something is definitely wrong at that place. I do not care how hard they work to take in animals, with all the negative reviews, they need to learn how to treat people and instructions in how to run a business.
