To keep the story short, Mike (I can't remember his last name) the enforcement supervisor at the humane society managed to locate the owners and arrangements were made for us to return the dog to them in three days. However, after our second night with the dog, we acknowledged we couldn't wait that long. Mike spent his Sunday making it possible for us to immediately bring her to the county facility. I've been to clinics and hospitals where they take your dog make you wait then pit you in a room and all the vet does and look at your dog and base diagnoses on what you're saying. Not once touched my dog. Here! Each vet has gotten down on the floor and physically examined every inch and didn't mind dog hair or kisses at all! A plus for me! They give you options (if there are any) for possible care and have always been conscious of the price instead of just pushing treatments no one but the 1% can afford. It's an hour drive for me BUT if you care for your pets and want quality care try this place out! Next- wish they had 24hr or late hr emergency services- then they would be top tier! First my dog loves the interaction with other dogs and their owners. Secondly, we continue to learn, even though my dog has passed the International Therapy Dog test and we work as volunteers at a local hospital. This is the first dog I have enrolled in a program like this and as a life long dog lover and owner, he is honestly the first dog I have ever owned that comes when he called, does not go crazy when someone comes to the door and has respect for people. I did have an issue with this dog in a particular area and worked with the trainer on a one on one basis. Our problem was quickly resolved. Communication is the key here. The trainer is open to new ideas and will address specific problems when asked. I can't say enough good things about this program!!!

We had a semi-emergency, and could not take her with us, she had never boarded before that I know of - she's a rescue, and is 11 years old. 3 nights, $45. Apparently she did not eat or poo the whole time, but I kind of expected that. She was in fine condition upon pickup, and was VERY happy to see us. We usually take her with us when we go, but I would use them again, if an emergency. A very nice lady, Julie, is who we dealt with, and I liked that she was a stickler for having proof of vaccinations and bordtadella (kennel cough).

We were told they would work straight thru w/two groomers and have him out quickly. When we dropped him off, the story turned to a 3 hours cut, and at 3 hours I was told somewhat rudely that it will be another 45 min or so. It has now been 4 hours since I dropped him off. If they can't do a quick (2 hour summer cut) just don't promise it and we'll go elsewhere.
