This was our first introduction to Spain and its food. Jamon, Croquetas, tortilla espanola (may favorite thing to go with Jamon for breakfast!). It is a little bit egg but a bunch of thinly sliced potatoes and onion cooked into sort of an omelet but a lot less egg and more creamy like scalloped potatoes... sorta.... You've got to try it, but if it is diced potatoes, forget it... It looses all that creaminess. This place knew how to do it well, yum!
They also had a number of wine choices not that i was drinking in the morning (lol, it was my first day in Spain, I had no idea...)
Such a warm and cozy spot. They were very friendly and it was so rustic and European. A great introduction to Spain though most of Madrid was rather modern.
The menus were in Spanish or Engilsh and they even have a facebook page. read more
